Pattaya is dotted with tons of small massage parlour joints, you can't turn a corner without running into three of them. My question is what is the usual extra's being offered and the normal amount of a tip required for said service? I'm not talking the full service joints but the massage places that seem more 'legit' as in real massage tables with curtains or individual rooms. I had one lady quote me 1000 baht for just a HJ which seemed out of place seeing you could get full service for 800 baht from the girls on beach road.

I reported a few months ago that I was able to bring one home with me. I had to pay 500 for the 2 hour outcall massage and I gave her 500 for FS. Recently, I had her stay the night. She lives upstairs in the shop. She came with me when they closed at midnight and I took her back about noon the next day. I gave her the same 1000 that I give everyone else for all night.

I also have one at my regular massage shop who comes to stay with me that I have never given anything to. We just go on regular dates. I had known her for a couple of years but she always thought I was joking about going out. Finally, one day back in March we went to eat and went to the movies. Then I took her home and got her drunk. She has stayed a few times since then. She said she had not been with a man for a few years since she left her hometown and her boyfriend broke up with her.

Another time I did FS with a girl in a massage parlor on Soi 6. She started at 1000 but I got her down to 500. We had to be quiet because, well, the only thing that separated us from other people was the curtain. After that she would always try to get me to come in when I passed the place.

Yet another time I met one in a massage shop in Nana Plaza mall. She came over after work and spent the night. I gave her the same 1000 that I give everyone else. We stayed in touch for a while.

My first action ever in Thailand was in a massage parlor in Bangkok down an alley across from Nana Hotel. I remember me and my wingman giving the girls 300 extra for HJ. Knowing what I know now, I would not pay more than 200.

Bottom line is probably to flirt with them and see where it leads to. The most recent girl that I talked about first I didn't flirt anything. I was just driving by and saw her out front and stopped and asked how much for a massage at my place. She said 500 for 2 hours. Then I asked how much I had to give her. She said up to me. But I guess you see my pattern now. Regardless of the situation, I give chicks 500 baht for ST and 1000 baht for LT. The exception is Beach Road where I try to talk them down to 400 for ST because I have to pay 100 for the ST room.

I can't answer your question, but remember that just because you can get full service for 500 baht from a beach road girl, that doesn't benchmark the price. Most establishments would pride themselves on charging more than a beach road girl.

If HE is only getting a HJ from a massage place there is no reason to overpay.

In any case, if you did want to compare the two, the BR girl would be doing more than just a hand shake. She will do a massage, HJ, BJ, and FS for 700-1000. If the massage girl is just doing a massage and adding a HJ at the end she should get less.

I agree with you. That is way over priced for a HJ. She should just do the massage and let you tip afterwards for the good service.

Recently I reported about one of these legit massage places, this place was attached to my hotel so I ordered room service. Came in a busty flirty gal, so I asked if there was more on offer. I was quoted THB 700 or 1000 for a HJ (will need to go back to the report and check). I just turned her down laughing, since better value is to be had at one of the smaller massage places all around offering a lot more.

It just seems like there's a ton of these massage joints around, some with some decent lookers. Suprised there isn't more written about them, then again maybe experienced hobbiest know to avoid these places. I wouldn't mind a nice hour long massage followed by a BBBJ from a cutie. Maybe its best just to stick with the full service joints for this type of service.

I can't answer your question, but remember that just because you can get full service for 500 baht from a beach road girl, that doesn't benchmark the price. Most establishments would pride themselves on charging more than a beach road girl.

i can only say what works for me. i often walk up soi 6/1 at nighttime (often to avoid being spotted by a soi 6 girl i might have promised to visit), and when accosted by the gentlemen of the night a cheery greeting and a high five gets a smile. it's just a recognition that we both know it's all a bit of a game. they are not ogres or trolls and probably occasionally enjoy a laugh. on other occasions i have said slightly more irritably that 'i'm looking for a lady' and i don't think i have offended anyone.

1) in Pattaya, is the action area concentrate in Walking street or also in Soi Metro? Last time as time is not allowed me to further adventure other spot, so I only concentrate in Walking street and I have seen so many a go go bars along the street and till the far end, I can see some outdoor open air beer bars wherein the girls around there also can be taken out too.

2) Between Bangkok and Pattaya, in my previous understanding Bankok like in NEP and Soi cowboy tends to have much expensive in terms for ST and LT with flat Bhat 600. While in Pattaya in my last visit way back 4 or 5 years ago they only charge BHT 500 or 600 for Bar Fine and lady accept for LT of Bhat 2500. But I was surpirise for your feedback yesterday that BF in Pattaya is way high and ST and LT is almost or highier than that in Bankok, is this because Pattaya normally cater tourist?

In Pattaya. More action areas would be, Beach Road Sois 6, 7, 8, entire stretch of Soi Buakhao (not just Soi LK Metro and Soi LK which are just two sub-sois), Soi Diana Inn (also a Soi Buakhao sub-soi) and this extremely famous but I forgot the name of this Soi which is full of bars and Massage Parlors, this Soi is right after Soi LK as you go towards the north. May be some one can name this Soi for MD (and me)?

Also the second road end of Sois 2, 3 and 4 (near Big see North Pattaya).

In Bangkok. Soi Nana's freelancers would be the cheapest and you will also find many African women there. Something I forgot to mention earlier.

I think Pattaya has employed many of these high-end girls so-called coyotes which are always a waste unless you are paying even higher prices than the usual agogo girls and the second problem could very well be the introduction of pathetic discos such as Tony's, Insomnia, Mixx which are actually a more modern brothel where girls sell themselves as almost-freelancers but still making money out of the lady drinks (which is understandable) but they are so up their own asses and ask for really crazy prices by giving silly excuses that we don't have to pay a barfine and that she is better quality blah blah blah.

But the biggest drawback is that you don't get to see the girl (completely naked) before you pick her up like you do in agogos.

Many Pattaya a-GoGos have a sliding bar fine which means that before 12 am, the bar fine would be much higher. Coyote girls have bar fines between (THB 1000 - 1500) and their ST / LT rates are equally terrible (something like THB 2,500 up). So Pattaya aGoGos are generally not that cheap (if you end up picking coyotes).

The 'sliding bar fine' point is very true and an important point that I missed. Most of the agogos and even beer bars follow this 'sliding bar fines' in Pattaya. Bangkok and even Phuket.

The "action areas" in Pattaya are described at GREAT length in previous pages of this forum. Go back about 30-40 pages and read. You'll see reports on three main areas: Walking Street (mostly go go clubs, plus discos where freelancers hang out); Soi LK Metro (increasingly a go go club venue, but also beer bars); and Soi 6 (smaller bars where short-time, on premises sessions are on offer). If you don't know where those areas are located, buy a map. I like the Groovy map of Pattaya, which is available from numerous online sellers. Once you do your homework, you can ask informed questions that will get a response. You won't get anywhere with clueless newbie queries that mark you as somebody who is too lazy to go back and read previous reports.

Again, go back and read the previous reports in this forum. Pricing is highly variable, depending on the venue, the girl and the season. If you do your homework you'll be able to ask questions that get an answer, as opposed to questions that invite rebuke.

RIGHT: I see that the going rate for a short time session on Soi 6 is 1000 to the girl and 300 to the bar. If I go to one of the bars where the girls do blowjobs only can I get away with paying the former rate of 700 + 300?

Since the discussion has now moved onto hotels on the reports page, my suggestion to MD is if you want to stay within WS, try Jasmine Suites. Alternatively, any of the recommendations by Bunky are good and then there are a few cheaper options which can be found from soi 13 all the way to soi Lengkee.
