I must point out that the CDC says there is, indeed, a benefit to circumcision. The takeaway is this: Male circumcision reduces the risk that a man will acquire HIV from an infected female partner, and also lowers the risk of other STDs , penile cancer, and infant urinary tract infection.

I don't want to contradict the CDC, but the "American" tradition of circumcision certainly predates the knowledge of its benefiits. So those benefits are just a happy coincidence and an a posteriori explanation.

And the "hygiene" aspect has always been false. There is no difference between a circumsized or an uncircumsized cock as far as hygiene is concerned. Both will need some water and soft soap to stay clean, and perhaps even soap is not really necessary.

Haha. Looks like you are wrong. My family was Falasha Jews and came to New York in the 1800's from Ethiopia. My great aunt, who is 90 years old, is the only one in my family who is still Jewish. Even her father was a Methodist minister. I was raised Christian but now I am agnostic so I could care less one way or the other. However, circumsion is in the Old Testament of the Bible, hence the practice is Jewish. Christians and Muslims use this Old Testament so it is a Jewish ritual that has carried over into their rituals.

It has no medical or practical value whatsoever. Most western countries are deeply rooted in Christianity and that is why it was common practice before. These days it is not as common as it once was because medical personnel woke up and realized it served no purpose but to torment the shit out of babies and young boys. If it was meant for your dick to be partially cut off then you would have been born that way.

It's a Jewish tradition because God told Abraham to circumcise each man in his household. It certainly predates Christianity and Islam. Many muslims do it out of tradition, or a rite of passage into manhood. Indonesia comes to mind. The west may have started the practice because of Judeo-Christian roots but, IMHO, it's always been done for hygiene.

I also noticed a lot of these couples and it befuddled me as well. After giving it a lot of thought my conclusion was similar this is simply honest and true love between old and ugly people. Maybe they also operate a business together in Pattaya scamming unknowingly tourist to pay hard earned money for ugly women and posting on message boards trying to excuse a very unfair trade. As for their relationships I don't mind them as long as these old farts don't pay their equally old and ugly girlfriends any money.

Visited many hot spots on both recently and struggled to find even a handful of really good looking women in the 19-21 age range who aren't chubby, loose, or marred with pregnancy markings and bad tattoos. Anyone going to Pattaya can judge for themselves, this is the reality that will meet them. On Soi 6 the spectre of horror is wider than on WS. There are many young girls on soi 6 and many of them look ok but there are also a wide range of ugly women right up to outright dragons.

For reference on WS I think I went to every single gogo there, desperately looking for something to put between my stomach and the mattress. Names I remember alcatraz living dolls 1 2. I read up on the prices in general WS and just went who memorizes the names of these places? There are more decent looking girls on WS than Soi 6 simply because there are more women working WS. But the ok looking ones are sometimes not available for sex. They generally stand outside in the street as advertisement or are mamasans favorite dancers and she will not let them go. She wants to sell all the goods rotting below deck. The ratio here is one young and fit girl per 200 viewed. It is indecent!
