With the curfew in place, maybe this report from my recent trip (4.29-5.11) will keep you gentleman entertained. For the first two days of my trip check my posts in the BKK thread.

Also the condo and building are super nice, with balcony with an amazing view (the girls are always impressed in the morning). There's also a beautiful pool where you can take the girls swimming if they stay over into the afternoon. There is also 24 hr security and the girls must check in with their IDs. I've developed a good report with the security guys and they are sure to give me comments (usually compliments) on the girls I take back with me. All for around 1000 Baht a night!

The beach in Jomtien is also much cleaner than Pattaya, and in the past I have had very nice dinners on the beach at sunset, with the chair rental guys getting tasty Thai food from the local restaurants. Though it was just too damned hot to eat outside this trip. I took most of my meals under A / C.

This is my 3rd stay in the same condo and I am becoming attached to the condo and almost feel like I own the place. I have fond memories of hot sex in the shower, in the kitchen, on the balcony, etc.

After getting the key and checking in with the Chinese caretaker (who remembers me and tells me to look him up if I am in Shanghai later in the year), I take a good long nap. My plan is to take it easy this evening, pick up a FL at my favorite club, Red Car. I had tremendous success there my last trip to Thailand a few years ago and my good run there will continue on this trip. For the longest time I thought the place was called Walking Street (that is what the sign outside says, with a logo that looks like the London Metro logo). But I guess it's become known as Red Car because of the vintage actual red car that is hung right above the door to the place (see foto). Or this is at least what I learn later form one of my girls.

After a two hour nap, shower, and quick Sontgaw ride I am arrive at Red Car just a litlte after 11. Unfortunately as I am to learn, this is WAY too early for this place. The place is completely dead and I leave without even having a beer. But with plans to hit it up again later in the evening.

Walking street is lively with plenty of cute free lancers around. I decide to get a beer at one of the beer bars that surround the Muay Thai ring just outside of beer garden. The girls selection there is not very good, but I do manage to find a cutie. However she really isn't giving me the time of day. I still enjoy the ambiance and the campiness of the super fake fights the guys put on. But it's is just too damned hot to be outside, and I decide to hit Airport to cool off and check out the scene there.

Good free breakfast in the White House except the omelet was not cooked enough, will let them know next time. Tennis 10-11 w Dan at he bayshore hotel. Arrived Pattaya 1400, checked into White House one day early, no problem. It was 1500 baht per night with breakfast, good I might add.Nice room but still uses keys instead of keycards. I don't know how secure that is, but there is a safe.

That amused me when I stayed there. The metal keys aren't small either. Plus they are attached a large plastic key fob. The Whitehouse Condotel key added considerable bulk and weight to my "pocket litter." (Donning flame-proof suit and ducking head) But it was not really a problem for me. I had plenty of room in the numerous pockets of my cargo shorts, which I paired with a singlet advertising Chang Beer!

Did May my LT in the morning in Bangkok. There is a nationwide curfew from 10 pm to 5 am everywhere, they have even broadcast it over the village tannoy to remind people to be at home by 10 pm.

All places of entertainment must be closed during these hours.

It IS THAT DEAD - 7-11 and the like closed at 10. Bars are closed at 10, nationwide curfew at 10 Soi 6 dark at 910 when I went by last night beach road almost deserted. Songtaew stopped a bit after 10 (last night) Nothing until 5 AM then 7-11 (and similar) opens. Big police presence at city hall on and Pattaya road.

NO TV IN THE ROOM except some stupid shit patriotic music and an occasional notice about reminding farang to obey the laws. FOOD? Better eat before 10 or get Thai sai toong plastic bag take-out.

Most Gogos have a sign somewhere showing the price list for the fines.

Some but not the majority from my experience and visits in general about a handful. So for the poster who ask about the barfines look around the room for the so call signs and then ask the service staff and not the girl.

With the growing trend of Go Go's asking you to pay up front especially if you are new or come across as new?

As noted one really has to do a little work especially in the conversation area to see if you got the right girl. Even then it is no sure thing but one got to put in the time to try to offset any disappointment. My moto is if you put yourself in the position for something to happen it most likely will happen?
