I would not go so far as to call them leftovers; just generally decreasing numbers. As is the consensus here, the girls have chosen the path of freelancing or ex bosses have chosen it for them. I was in Pattaya last month and this is a good description of the situation. The daytime beach road SW scene was quite disappointing compared to my previous trips. Appearances not as good, prices higher, and attitudes more apparent.

My advice would be to keep your expectations low for daytime BR mongering. Maybe there has been some agreement between the ladies and the local authorities to clean up the area during the day for the FLOOD of Russian tourists descending on the beach, because it seems only the hard core SW's remain during daylight hours.

From dusk forward the scene improves considerably in terms of both quality and quantity, but the night time also brings out the LB's which presents a whole other set of variables.

Not been here long, first day walking down soi 13/3 stopped for a cold beer, it was a very quiet bar with only 1 girl and her boss there. There are no vaccinations absolutely required for Thailand. I got tetanus and Hep A & B vaccinations last year and probably will get rabies vaccination next time.

If you do not have the hepatitis shots then be careful with the food and always have covered FS. You should be OK then.

And it is always a good idea to give stray dogs and cats a wide berth.

Just take a walk along Beach Road and spot the amount of guys sitting there making remarks to the nearby girls who clearly do not want them around 'lousing it up' and effecting business. How many time I have seen a girl I like but some guy is sat distracting her, she is not going to be outwardly rude to these guys.
