Given the recent postings and website issues at the Den I thought I would share my recent (Saturday 17th dec.) observations with you.

I arrived in BKK Saturday morning and did the usual taxi transfer, accommodation check-in and a few other things before I set sail for Soi LK. I arrived at Billabong at 12. 15 to have a cold drink and to be in a position to observe the DD ladies. There were already a few of them outside the club. I am planing to stay here around 1 month. I ll share my observations during my visit. By the way this is my 3rd trip to Pattaya in the last 1, 5 year.

Hotel: I am staying at Pattaya Noble Palace on Soi 13/2. Monthly cost 15. 000 THB Every 2 days towel change, every 4 days bed sheet change. Place is very nice. Rooms are big enough for a single man. In addition to this, there is no reception or security after 19. 00hrs. On the gate there is a electronic lock system thats all. In other words, you can bring countless of women without paying any fee. Place has a good wifi connection. It is more than enough even for me. But do not forget there is no elevator. Guesthouse is generally full. I advise you to complete your reservation before coming to Pattaya.

As everybody indicated before, barfines are going up significantly. Nowadays, barfines at go-go bars are 600THB for dancers 500THB for servants. At beer bars 300THB. I remember approximately 1 year before it was 300 THB at go-gos.

If you want to do some gym activities, I suggest you, California WOW. However, do hard negotiations in a gentlemen way. You can reduce the membership cost significantly. Place is nice, clean.

For mobile phone, I am using DTAC network. You can buy simcard at airport. It is 99 baht. At Pattaya 3G connection is really good. Daily full 3G connection cost is 46THB. I do not know monthly cost. When I learn I will update you.

I'm not in Pattaya. I'm in south Thailand in a non tourist town.

My scenario is like this. I have an "aircard" not a wifi router and it plugs directly into my laptop usb. It comes with it's own SW.

It's by CAT. It's a 3g connection called CAT CDMA. It's fast enough to watch youtube, usually without waiting for spool time. The hardware cost me 3, 000. I pay another 800 baht per month for unlimited usage.

I'm replying to this because I think the other replies do not mention you have to pay for the time used. Like phone time. I may have this wrong but it seems that unless you've placed yourself where wifi is free, you need to pay the wifi provider. I my case CAT. I believe they also serve Pattaya.

Good advice, it's the best place I have come across in Pattaya. However I think is called TUK Com. Can't miss it, a huge pink building on the right about 500/600 metres as you walk away from Second Avenue.

of course. go to "two com" on pattaya thai st (south pattaya road) near the intersection with soi boukaw. the whole building is used for electronics. i believe they are in the range of 1. 500 baht. make sure you buy a 3g one for better reception not the edge.

touched down in bangkok at about 4 am, and hightailed to pattaya, and got to my favorite hotel in the world, the penthouse at about 6. checked in, didn't unpack, off to see what was available on walking street at 6 in the morning. there were some rep001tered girls here and there, and a buttload of ladyboys, but i was still determined. started hitting the side streets off of walking street. i ran into 3 drunken ladies, two seemed like a good bet, the other i wasn't sure. all three tackled me in the middle of the road; bingo!
