One thing that was different was that the town tried to cater to the tourists with Christmas lights and decorations on Beach Road, etc. Send me a PM if you want to meet up.

She reminds me of the lovely French-Vietnamese PS Sharron Lee. Super cute!
I love WS. What a great place to pickup fresh hotties without that rough working girl edge. I am glad to hear its still going strong.

Posts: 34Advice for Dec Holiday visit
May I seek advice for a Dec Holiday visit around 18 to 26 of Dec? Wondering if Pats light up differently during Christmas holidays (good or bad). Any advice please as I never been in Patts during holidays.
I was just there in Aug and couple of months before that. So it will be 3 time around this year. I was told, December attracts larger crowd and may make the scene livelier.

Dear Members
I will be going soon to Pattaya.
And have a question.
Does anybody know in Soi 6, a pregnant lady or a Lady who is lactating milk working there.
I will be there next month.
Thanks,
Gray

Thanks for an excellent recommendation. Who knows what we will do? Might even stay overnight in Pattaya to see how the place has morphed over more than two decades since I last last there.

You could try Bang Saen,
A nice quiet 'Thai style' beach resort and quite near Laem Chambang.
I recently spent a few days there with a playmate. Rather relaxing, and GREAT sea food.
In my opinion a rather nice place to spend a day or two IF you have company but NOT one to go alone!
The best 2 hotels are probably Sez and Tides but there are others.

We'll be on a cruise a year from now. My plan is to taxi from Laem Chabang to Bangkok, get a room on the river, spend the night and then head back to the port. But what about alternatives. Been to Pattaya. Does Chonburi and environs offer anything? I'm mostly interested just in watching Thai life and spend time on a beach, preferably with clean water. May do a massage or two.

Posts: 67Sorry but no pics from me via ISG website
I tried uploading the PDF file but the website said "LOS Oct 2011 Trip Report for ISG. Pdf. Your file of 823. 5 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 390. 6 KB for this filetype." I tried uploading 4 x pics and the website said "The file (s) uploaded were too large to process." So I tried uploading 1 x pic and the website said "Friend 6, Oct 2011, Pic 1. JPG. Upload of file failed." Epic fail on my part and I've given up on trying to upload anything.
I'm just a luddite who stole my handle from an old frequent hotel stayer card. If you want the PDF+Word files with the photos embedded, PM me your e-mail address. Sorry. I have forwarded the files to several ISG members who PM'd me, so I'm good on my word.
On a related note: I'll be in Patts again 1 thru 29 May 2012 so if you want to meet up for a drink / beer, let me know which date (s) you're free to meet up.

Dude, did you choose your name from your frequent hotel stayer card, LOL?
Anyway, a well written report, so thank you. A few of your observations I disagree with but that is a bit inevitable. I think you should go ahead and post a selection of your pics for us all to enjoy.
Keep up the good work.

What is the best way to find a nice apartment in Pattaya? Does anyone know a real estate agent that I can contact?
