Most likely corporates or shop managers tryin gto be greedy pretending this way they avoid speculations (and so THEY make it) and control the flow of goods through the market: if you don't need you don't buy it at triple the price and if you buy it at triple the price, hard to sell it a 5-6 times the price so you earn your stake.

No doubt THEY make the extsa margin (if somebody buys)

    Worh traveling to Pattaya?

Folks, my tickets are booked from the 14 to the 19 nov and so it the hotel. I would like to take a view from fellow members who are in Pattaya, is worth taking the trip now? Worried about the flooding, and the aftermath! Suggestions are welcome.

Traffic however is still bad here and coming from Bangkok.
That is certainly nice to hear! I noticed many of the 7/11 are slowly getting some stock. Today I was at a 7/11 got a cold towel and saw some water. There was a sign saying in Thai, only 6 bottles per customer, I got 2 small bottles that usually cost 7 to 10baht, whe it was time to pay the charge was 29 baht for each bottle.

    Never happened

Did it ever happen to you that a drink together with a girl cost you more then the session with her? In Pattaya everything can happen!

Yesterday I was walking along the Beach Road at about 11 PM. Would say around 200 WG all along. Maximum 3 % worth to consider for a date.

So I talked to 1 out of these 6. 500 Bath for ST, she said. So we agreed and went to the Hard Rock Cafe for a Margarita. And this for 600 Bath.

She was by the way very slim . Would say skinny. When she saw my see*k she refused;"no, no I cannot!" Following Dale Caregie's good advice:

If life gives you a lemon. Make a lemon limonade Haha. She made a perfect BBBJ combined with a deep anal massage. And this for $16. 50!

It is worth visiting Pattaya in nov?

Guys, is it worth visiting Pattaya in second week of November, have my tickets and hotel confirmed?

Does walking street have stock of women?

    Is it raining heavy?

Is power there in the hotels?

Need the folks who are there to provide their opinion.

    Thanks, LBM

Beach Road and Second Road resembled a car park this afternoon. Lovely. No need to risk life and limb playing chicken today Just a nice relaxed stroll across to the beach. Wish it was like this every day.

F*** me, is it nearly Christmas already?

    Sagami large?

Sagami (presumably Sagami. 02) Large size in Pattaya. Or anywhere in Thailand? Where? Have usually ordered these online or off of eBay.

Have seen the standard (too tight) size in Boots in the white and red box, but not the large size in the black and gold box.

The car park at my condo has 8 levels. Only 3 are normally filled this time of year, but now all levels are filled to capacity and most of the condo units are occupied.

Traffic from Jomtien to Walking Street was bad last night and parking was hard to find everywhere. The go-go bars were jumping and the street was crowded. Beach Road was blocked off but I wasn't able to see why. Falang food was in good supply at the 24 hour Food Market in Jomtien.

Looks like high season has come early.

Pattaya's not flooded, Bangkok Airport's no prob, Bangkok City's fine by 18 Nov (?)

I'm scheduled to fly in and out of BKK Suv airport Nov 18th and out Dec 1. Staying Pattaya first 6 days. Then 3 in Singapore. Final 2 days in lower Suhkumvit area of BKK.

Anyone have a feel for if there will still be problems by then? I guess I still have awhile to decide / reschedule flights. Using China Airlines into BKK. Then Asia Aor to Singapore.

    Thanks
    - I'm in Patts 10 Oct. 8 Nov and no flooding issues here. Bangkok is basically on holiday until at least Mon / 31 Oct. I'm starting to meet Bangkok refugees FLing on Coconut Bar / Beach Road, Insomnia, etc.

    - Today SushiLover808 took a taxi from Patts to the Airport in 90 minutes and reported that there's no problem. By the way, I met up with him a couple of times during his and he's a pretty cool guy. Good luck to his worldwide mongering adventures and if he ever finds another city / country that's a better value than Patts, I hope he doesn't keep it a secret from us ISGers.

    - Bangkok: I haven't been there but from what I can tell it's only certain, poor parts of Bangkok that's flooded, particularly the outskirts. The city's economic core (where the wealthy live, shop, work) ie Sukhumvit (fancy megamalls+nearby NEP, Patpong, Soi Cowboy) isn't really flooded as that would tank the Thai economy even more and the affluent would rather let the peripheral downtrodden deal with the brunt of the flood abatement.

My advice: Party in Patts instead of Bangkok.

If you do decide to go to Bangkok you should be fine, especially come mid-to-late Nov as most of the water / flooding will also naturally abate by then ("officials" expect approx a month for the flooding to be gone, so in 2+ weeks say 60+% would be gone).
