stopped in at the airport club on walking street last night to see what all the fuss is about. nothing much was happening at 8:30pm. there were 3 or 4 average looking, up in age, fully covered pole dancers on the stage and no action yet in the tub. a few other customers were rep001tered around the small narrow room.

there was at least 10 female wait staff dressed in stewardess costumes. they seemed to be all drinking shooters and partying together right beside me, maybe to celebrate a birthday or something. one of them approached me and said something but ran off without taking my drink order. another was leaning against the stage directly in front of me. after about 5 minutes, i just got up slowly, made eye contact with the one in front of me, did a shoulder shrugging gesture, and walked out of the bar. i figured if the service was this bad, the rest of the action would be likewise. i won't be going back there for a while.

well that's different than my experience as i am usually annoyed at some moron at the door grabbing my arm or gently (or not) pushing me to a seat as i peruse the scene deciding whether its worth sitting down or moving on and i would usually prefer the 'service' you received i think. and i've never noticed a correlation between waitstaff service and go-go girl sexual service but maybe your right and i will have to keep it in mind next time i pull...

I was in Pattaya in Soi 6 and heard this Chav girl shouting and running towards me.

She looked Thai but spoke perfect English.

I would not have replied if you have given any relavent info in your previous posts. Most of your comments is in regards to the Penthouse Hotel.

It seems correct that some other poster made; there are several posters (probably the same group) that constantly defend and attack any post that puts up any disparaging remark about the Penthose Hotel.

While coming from Bangkok's Ekamai Bus Station, I got down at the Pattaya Bus Station in North Pattaya. I didn't know how to go to Beach Road or Walking Street side. I enquired with people around. They told me that I have to book a hotel first then only I can go. They directed me towards an agency few metres away. I enquired about hotels. They showed me an album with lots of hotels. I asked them about Penthouse hotel. They told me they don't deal with this hotel.

I came out and saw few foreigners in a mini bus type of vehicle. I joined them. I paid 20 baht. I observed very well throughout the journey. While travelling along the beach, I guessed it was the Beach Road. I travelled till the end of Beach Road before it takes a left turn. I got down and was surprised to see so many hotels. I was so tired that the first hotel I saw, I just went in. It was Serene Hotel. I paid 700 baht.

Later I came, to know better about Pattaya. I stayed for 3 nights in Serene Hotel and 1 night in Penthouse Hotel. During three consecutive nights I took one girl from Beach Road to my Room without any hassle. But the problem is that they are not keen for overnight stay.

I'm planning to visit Pattaya again but for a longer period this year in July or August and I would wish that someone helps me by suggesting a better hotel for three weeks.

Penthouse Hotel? Yuck! Right in the middle of gay town.

If you take the bus from Ekamai Bus Station (Soi 63) , then the bus will drop you off at the Pattaya Bus Station in north Pattaya. You can get a private Songthaew. Or you can share; as you leave the bus, there will be shared songthaews that people from the bus will use.

The cheapest option will be to cross the street, and wait for a songthaew for 10 baht. One songthaew should get you to that soi before walking street where the penthouse hotel is at. But the songthaew might take a difficult route. The songthaew you want will go straight to beach road and it will turn left; then it will go straight; get off before walking street.

Will be back in Pattaya soon and hoping do things a little different to my last visit. About 5 years ago I visited a place which was just on the way out of Pattaya heading towards Jomtien down a small soi on the left, somewhere near Residence garden I think. It was a day time venue with a number of girls working there, a nice place to relax, I remember a girl from there taking me back to my hotel on the back of her motor bike. I have never seen it mentioned in the forum for years, does anyone know if it is still going? It could have been called Jade house instead of Jasmine.

You get off at the bus station. A tax-driver will probably approach you and ask where you're going, and offer you a lift for 100-200bht in the back of his van (baht-bus). It all works pretty well.

Hit loads of bars on walking street the other night. Was a nice refreshing change from the high prices and bad attitudes in Bangkok.

Babydolls. Gone way downhill in my opinion. Not many lookers up on stage. 1500 for ST, and I assume this can sometimes be negotiated.

Alcatraz. Not sure what the big deal is here. Yeah, the girls are hot, but they aren't naked or anything, and it's expensive. The models are 2, 000 baht barfine and 2, 000 baht ST. I do like the little details. Check bins come in a tin cup, and it's nicely decorated, but a bit too pricey.

What's Up. Best shows in Pattaya; puts the BKK shows to shame. Lots of fake titties and I"m not sure what the deal is for taking a girl out. One girl quoted 2, 000 barfine and 1, 000 to her for ST. Another quoted 800 barfine and 2, 000 to her. Some really hot girls in here, though.
