Those who know my posts, know that I hate wasting cash, and am to a degree ... cheap. Created the church of LDs and BFs are for Noobs, Tourists, and Suckers. However, this is completely different, helping these gals with medical problems. If anything, the more I think of it the more am convinced this the honorable thing to do.

To me, it makes sense to spend 800 baht helping a gal to get her tooth pulled, but completely wasteful spending 800 baht on two LDs and a BF.

I was at the Central Festival for God's sakes! I doubt anyone would try to beat me up just because I was talking to a girl! From what I see with the Hotel, it is new maybe open a year or so ago. In my opinion somewhat expensive for being set back from the main road but quiet. You certainly need transportation to get to 3rd Rd. and Central rd unless you like to walk. The location is closes to 2nd rd around a 1/2 mile or less. The Bangkok Bank is on the corner across from that is Soi 6, I would agree that it is about a 10 minute walk to the Beach Rd, but might take you much longer if you go down Soi 6 first?

Outside the hotel I think is a motorcycle taxis stand?

Best suggestion I have is outside the Bus station you might be able to get a Bus ( Songthaw ) that will take you there for 100/150 Baht? But in my opinion nothing direct?

That's right, on the east side of 2nd road. Sabailand is kittycorner across the street, and Sabaidee just beyond that.

I just booked the Nova Gold Hotel on Central Rd.

When I arrive at the bus station, how do I get to Central Rd? The same baht bus that travels Beach Rd?

If we are talking about the same Nova Gold and you are carrying bags you will be in for a surprise because Nova Gold isn't on Central Rd? If you are talking about the main bus station on Pattaya Nua the baht bus unless you hire the whole bus it will not take you directly there?

Nova Gold, is located right in the middle between Central ( Pattaya Klang ) and 2nd and 3rd Rd. I believe is next door to the Nova Park Apartments which is where the Jamison Restaurant is located. Whatever road you get off you have bit of a walk to get to the Nova Gold. If you are coming from the Bus station on Pattaya Nua, you would have to get off 3rd Road and Nua and catch another Bus and head down towards Central. You must get off at the back entrance to Carrefour ( 7/11 on corner ) go down that Soi and turn right on the Family Mart I think the Nova Gold is right there.

Agree, I once spent a thousand US dollars on a Girl and the service was so bad I felt completly mugged and regretted not just having gone and given the Thousand dollars to some really hot lap dancers I was with earlier which would have bought me a few hours of fun and laughs unlike about 20mins of robot sex. Yah, a bit more tact should be used, but there's no need to take her out to dinner and spend loads of money on her either. This isn't the West. If she works in the mall, she is low level Thai, not a hi-so or mid-so that you need to wine and dine. Do something low key and cheap like inviting her for a foot massage together at one of the shops after work and get to know her. If things go well, then maybe ask her to your room. Or at very least, get her number and call her later.
