I'm glad I'm not the only one that has suffered more than his fair share of disasterous encounters with ladies of the night both in Pattaya and Bangkok. Think it can happen to the most experienced of us. Just have to keep on your toes with the lot of them!! :-)

About 11 years ago on first trip to Thailand on my own (previous 1 time was with Scottish girlfriend), I had got so excited about what I could get up to over there and had set my expectations so high that it just had to end in disaster!!

I had made a spur of the moment decision the day before to book a flight from UK and just do it, having recently become single and been fantasising about it since my ex girlfriend and I had visited a gogo in Patpong the year before!

My friend had booked me into the Penthouse Hotel where he had been staying for a week already. We'd done a pile of gogos before heading back to Catz at the Penthouse where we had seen some real cuties earlier. It was just our luck that they had both been rented for the night already. Lesson I DIDN'T learn til many years later is if you see one you like then take her there and then cause otherwise someone else will. I've lost count of the amount of nights I've seen a hottie, decided it was too early, done a dozen more bars only to decide I liked the first girl the most and after retracing my steps (if I can remember them and I'm still sober enough) find she'd "Gone home already" according to her friends!! Yeah right!

Anyway it was nearly closing time and the gorgeous Mamasan at the time got the girls to do a lineup for the 4 or 5 guys still hanging around without a bed warmer for the night. The girls were all lined up in front of us and they each tried to persuade us to take them. They weren't great but there was one that caught my eye. She was fair skinned, tall, slim and with a very pretty face. My mate picked a small petite one and we both seemed pretty happy with the outcome of our search.

What pissed me off the most after the event was the enthusiasm she displayed for going with me in the lineup.

So remembering this is my first time EVER planning to pay for sex, I paid the barfine and took my new friend up to my room. I was quite nervous but still excitedly anticipating my first time ever with a pro!! Oh the things she would do to me and me to her!! :-)

I only knew the routine from what my friend had told me. First a shower, then she was probably going to be a bit shy of taking the towel off. Man was he right about that. When she eventually lay down on the bed I thought the bloody thing was glued to her. No attempt at persuading her would get her to reveal an inch more flesh. Surely it wasn't supposed to be like this. I was confused, frustrated and beginning to lose my patience. I was gagging for it!! :-)

Eventually I asked her what was wrong? Didn't she like me? She said she did but she "didn't feel like sex tonight"? Eh? Surely this couldn't be happening to me! She's a prostitute for god's sake. I paid for her!! Ok I'm horny, it's my first time so maybe I need to compromise to get at least something! How about a blowjob? "No I no like smoke"! How about a Handjob? "No me too tired. Just want to sleep"!! Fuck that. I had had enough. I asked her to get dressed and leave. She didn't want to go as she said the Mamasan would be angry with her. After some crying I relented a bit and told her I'd give her taxi money but she had to leave and I promised I wouldn't say anything to the Mamasan.

So there I am, first night in Pattaya after a 12 hour flight, alone, horny as hell with nothing to alleviate it except some solo action, several thousand baht down on the night and well pissed of with Pattaya already!

My mate pissed himself laughing about that for the rest of the holiday!

Funny thing was, the next night the Mamasan gave me a right telling off because the girl hadn't turned up for work!! What had I done to her etc? I just played ignorant. The girl never did turn up again while i was there!!

It happens to us all. For every 5 good ones I reckon I pick 1 disaster. I just have to accept it . All part of the P4P lottery!!

p.s. I did manage to lose my virginity on the next attempt. Well sort of. Next night picked a cute one, got so drunk to calm my nerves from the previous disaster that i couldn't get it up!! Had to wait until the next morning!! Oh the memories! :-)

Just wanted to say that we can all appreciate your candor as most of us I suspect have "been there,done that". Yes, picking out and renting companions for the night is a bit of a crap shoot, but thankfully there are so many waiting out there in the thousands of venues of Pattaya that you will find some pleasing companions if you keep adventuring.

Pete is trying to make his Beer Garden the Pattaya equivalent of the Beer Garden on Soi 7 in BKK. So far, the Pattaya Beer Garden has gotten high marks for its food, drink and relaxed atmosphere, but the jury is still out regarding freelancers. Not very many girls and when they do show up, the male customers don't show much interest. It may take some time for the Pattaya Beer Garden to become established as a FL pick-up spot.

The "Somtam Corner" is free for anyone. The girls can make a plate of Somtam according to their personal tastes and it doesn't cost anything.

just had to respond to some of these quotes re lack of decent looking females in pattaya. all i can say is incredible, incredible! was in pattaya in march and if one had the patience to explore and after all isn't half of the fun in the chase, there were so many fertile grounds to expore in the thousands of bars along beach road and second road with many, many attractive asian lovelies of all sizes, ages and descriptions. must say that many mongerers i talk with prefer emaciated females who look like recent releasees from concentration camps and there is an ample number of those, but i prefer curvier types-maybe that is too euphemistic- read that slightly fleshy and also those who are not the most beautiful, but have made great companions to drink with, to visit live music venues and to bed. i am talking about just the many, many beer bars without even adventuring into the hundreds of go-go's.not my cup of tea mate. so those not familiar with pattaya please do not listen to all this bs about there not being any delectable fems available in the beach resort of pattay--'tis quite a world that pattaya.

but seriously, i personally have no problem with older or less good looking girls as long as they're cheap and provide excellent service. its just that it is quite remarkable how few young women are going into the farang-oriented prostitution career nowadays - it does not bode well for when the older ones finally retire. or maybe we'll be f-ing 45-50 year olds like one has to do in korea.

i just checked out the photo galleries on that web site, and while it is a very nice looking place, has anyone else notice that nearly all of those 'girls' are over 30, and many of them look to be over 35. i don't mean this in any way as a criticism of the venue, its just astonishing how badly the level of girls available in thailand has gone down over the last few years.

Someone claims its a new idea of beer bar where it is open for all FL with no Bar fine or lady drink, you can pick any FL but not the staff.

I see it as a very promising idea and I really want to know if that is true?

There is a big bar you can sit around and also seating around the edge which looks over the Pattaya Bay. The beer is a good price and they also do food which is good as well. You can just go to chill or you can go and pick up an FL. They have a system where your beer mat gives you or the FL an option to be 'just Chillin' or 'looking' .

I went a couple of times the first one being just to chill out and have a couple of beers. The second time I was with friends and we ate there.

I know common sense always apply, but is there a safe in a room (hotel) so that I can store valuable stuff. I would like to sleep comfortably knowing my that my money and passport are secured.

Depends on the hotel, though I think most have safe deposit boxes at reception.

Yes, that’s right, the apparently infamous “Pattaya Ghost,” who I’m told has a nefarious agenda to slander and libel certain go-go bars here in Pattaya just for the fun of it, in gross violation of all the rules of decent civilized human behavior.

I posted my last nights adventure at What’s Up a-go-go in the Pattaya Addicts forum word for word, under my handle, Daddy007, exactly the same as in the Pattaya thread here. And this evening I get a cryptic email from the forum moderator addressing me as Mr. Pattaya Ghost and banning me from the board forever. Of course, I’ve never heard of this Pattaya Ghost fellow, I’m definitely not him, and have not a clue what this idiot is talking about, but I am banned nevertheless, and am left only to wonder what in the fuck is going on.

Oh, well, it’s a worthless forum anyway, full of inane infantile banter, and I can do just as well without it. And now I’ve had an inkling of what it must feel like to be lynched without the benefit of due process or fair trial. The ignorance, prejudice and stupidity of my fellow human beings, Thai and farang alike never ceases to amaze me.
