Mr E, I respect your opinion and I have read SL's trip report. His recent posts are fact based & very interesting. But he does point out that some things have changed on Soi 6. Most critical to how I view the current state of affairs in LOS from halfway around the world is that several of my friends, all notable contributors to this forum, have visited Thailand in 2022 and what they are telling me. The consensus opinion among them is things have changed for the worse and that they currently prefer Phnom Penh and Jakarta over BKK & Pat.

I have no doubt that when I return to LOS at some future and as yet undetermined date, I will have a good time, but that is because I know my way around, I am versatile and can adapt to new circumstances on the ground. I will not put up with a lot horse shit from the girls or their respective establishments. As you point out there are still a lot of different ways to find "good" girls in Pat besides Go Go's and Soi 6. The issue for me is that I like Go Go's. 555. Pin Up, for example, pre covid was a fucking great bar. I understand that currently it is still very popular and crowded every night despite their drink policy and expensive barfines. As long as they have a bountiful supply of pretty girls I can understand why. But in lessor quality joints there may be a problem. We shall see. Day 23: a fitting finale.

I think some pretty serious realization sets in the last 20 pages. I wasn't so wrong with being grumpy. Currently I need to decide whether I stay here or go back to South America, and I am vacillating on a twice daily basis. Either I leave on Monday or I extend my stay for another 45 days. But what is giving me major second thoughts now is reviewing the last 20 pages, and also have been checking out some long term Pattaya guru on YouTube "everything Pattaya" channel.

As tough as it might be, the bitter realization that everyone seems to agree is that girls are lazy. It is precisely what I felt when walking down Soi 6 every single time. They are lazy as fuck and completely disinterested, choosy, unwelcoming. I keep tormenting myself if that is just because of me (despite my Senior Status I am not an experienced monger at all and have my personal hang-ups) OR if there is something untoward going on. And it is clear that others far more experienced than me are reporting similar patterns: lazy girls who are sitting on a handsome salary not even needing to bar-fine any more. So this means going to a go-go (where at least there are dozens and dozens of girls to choose from, not just a hand-full of lazy ones messing with their phones) even when ready to pay the truly exorbitant 1500 to 2500 just for bar fine, then on top trying to compete against the handsome package they have trying to get her to go with you, this all puts a major bummer over the whole experience.

The explosion of tourists (which, after that crazy fireworks weekend isn't sooo crazy any more) anyway doesn't help. But the problem right now aren't even the excess of blokes (except on ThaiFriendly, which I believe is an extremely fast seller's market right now) so much as the excess of bars competing for girls paying them exorbitant salaries leaving them lazy. This is in part a temporary market distortion, because of the CoViD dead-stop reorienting a percentage of girls to do other things, and to a good amount their efforts have been redirected to virtual shit for myriads of simps sitting in their homes and tipping on OnlyFans. This has seriously damaged the whole situation. Influx of Laotian and Cambodian girls is the only hope to rectify the situation.

I would think that coming back in about a year might be better than trying to hang out here.
