It is Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2022 last night and tonight. Big crowds, roads closed, etc. Fireworks being launched off barges out in the bay, Beach Road closed, all the white tents along Beach Road are being used by street food vendors, families by the thousand on the beach to watch the shows.

I met a girl at Pretty Bar in TreeTown named "O". Great girl but didn't speak one word of English. Not one word. When I didn't take her, my buddy questioned my poor reasoning as I wanted someone I could converse with a little bit. I don't assume anyone is Thai, unless they speak Thai. I do see the occasional Malaysian customer in a bar. And since the bars are getting more customers, I am not seeing them allowing Thai men in as customers.
