After breakfast Owen and I walked up Walking Street towards the jetty where the boats set off to Koh Larn, overlooked by the big PATTAYA letters. It was good to get a change of scenery and interesting to see Walking Street by day. On the way back to my hotel it rained torrentially, the first bad weather of the trip.

Woah, I just happened to see your post now as wanted to update myself on the scene there as have an upcoming plant visit to that country. Allow me Sir to share my experience about my trips to Thailand; Bangkok and Pattaya. Both for Business and pleasure. I am an Indian, Sikh, New Delhi resident and am mighty proud of my nationality. Sorry to confuse you. When I tried putting a be in front of the $, the auto correct would change it. I only included some with usd to show I paid for that particular service in usd. For example, the esim card I bought on line so that was in usd. My hotels were prepaid, also in usd. Just about everything else should be in baht.

I forgot to add in the Bangkok report that for the sim, I used an esim from a company called airalo. It was $19.95 usd for 15 days with both voice and data. Cost is more than getting a sim in Bangkok but the convience was the weighing factor for me. Also last rant on things I can't get used to.
