Value or Not?

As for the current debate on the value of Pattaya compared to your home country or the parts of the world for mongering. One must not forget about the illusion factor or entertainment factor. Walking around, holding hands, with a 19 year old village girl, thinking you are in love and everything is rosy with world is priceless. Same like being old as dirt and going to a night club with loud Thai techno music you don't recognize, almost seizuring from the lasers, but you still are a Rockstar. Same just like the illusion of being a millionaire when you are only spending 2,000 USD in 2 weeks is also priceless. This is what Pattaya offers. These are how lifetime memories are made. Let us not forget, that regret because naivety is what makes it all memorable. The escape from everyday life has no price.

Excellent and very to-the-point comment. Could not agree more. I have been mongering in Asia for 20 years and tried China, Phillippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cambodia and Thailand. Some of the aspects of travel and mongering can be better in one of the other destonations, but no other country can challenge Thailand on the combination of issues that is important in my travels. And the list is long; from safety issues to food, culture, standards of hotel, people, service etc. There is a reason Pattaya get all these tourists and I am sure they will kick back after the terrible covid years. I am impressed with the way Thai people have handled difficult times. As we get older, the rockstar experience can only be had in a few places in the world. But in Thailand you can still have this experience at a relatively cheap price. The "escape from every day" life cost a lot of money in travel expenses etc. But maybe it is well spent money after all? We only live once.

Book your first 7 days in advance. Then, see if you want to go down to Pattaya. If you're dead set on that schedule, then no problem with booking ahead of time.

I suggest booking somewhere between BTS Nana and BTS Asoke for your BKK trip. And near 2nd road, between S Pattaya Rd and Central Pattaya Rd for Pattaya. This will keep you close to most of the action. Soi 6 is easily accessible via the baht bus.

I have booked a room in Mytt hotel, Pattaya beach road for next years trip. Is it girlfriendly? I have booked for two people. This is supposed to be 5 star hotel.

I came from the USAGL and after a few years of mongering the K-girl scene in Cali, I thought it was finally time to visit Thailand, the motherland of Poon, for a little bit. Booked a flight to Thailand for January for about 14 days. I'm planning on spending 7 days in Bangkok and then 7 days in Pattaya. Should I make reservations for all days ahead of time? I sessioned with the attractive one few months back, decent experience but a no repeat for me.

I didn't like the vibe of the place either, that male owner is always there sitting at the bar (at least the two times I went) and it's just awkward. I prefer only female staff at any of these types of establishments. The only males in these places should be customers. Even on Soi 6, I never go to the spots that have male staff. I want to be around feminine energy at places where I session, not masculine energy.

Does she really get Nekkid for 1,000 bahts?

This bar along with the others on Soi Full Love Inn have been there for years. Hit and miss for me. Had some great times when we've turned up drunk as a group and they've had a decent group of girls in. All of the bars have maybe 2-3 girls who are passable, but with a few beers that number increases!

Sabai across from Central Marina and beside Honey 2 has kept its promise and has reopened. I didn't go in tonight since it was before 5 pm and not really fair on them for me to comment on numbers and quality at that time.

Really? I drove past there a week or so ago and it looked like a wreck from the outside. Where did you get this information?

From myself. I posted on this board or another that Sabai Dee would be reopening November 1. This photo was taken by me November 2. I was too lazy to resize the photo yesterday. Yes the construction zone was gone. I was skeptical last week if the opening was really going to happen.

On the topic of soapies I decided to check out Grand Honey 3 near Tukcom this afternoon. Was thinking they would make it nicer than the other ones since the building itself is really nice. Nope. Same set up. Purple seats. Not fair to comment on the girls since it should be at least after 5 before you go to any soapie.

Walked Buakhao from Tukcom to Soi 19 or so. 3 or 4 decent ones to at the 2 usual massage places near Lengkee. There was also a nice one at VIP massage or something like that north of Annie Jack's. I walked by her twice and she would look away. Then I see her targeting much older Farang. Guess each girl has their preference!

Walked Soi Honey. Surprisingly Paradise actually had a doable girl. Walked Soi 25. Still have no idea why guys believe there are hot girls there but guess it's good we all have different tastes.

Walked Central Pattaya East of Buakhao where Relax Massage is. 4th time this month. Desperate move by myself in hoping to find one of my favorite girls who's Line I lost. One of my best hidden gems. No luck and no need to walk there again.

Don't forget infrastructure is the biggest edge that pattaya has. There are plenty of party & cheap sex options around the world as good or better than pattaya, but the one thing that gives thailand the edge is 1st world infrastructure. I was just talking to a couple of guys on soi 6 the other day who moved here from the Phillipines. They were telling me about that and I was telling them about various places in S. America and Africa and the one thing we all agree on is that Thailand is unmatched by having solid electricity and internet more than any other cheap sex option destinations.

When it comes to Internet it certainly has changed like night and day twenty something years ago. It seems like yesterday I was going to Internet shops.

As for infrastructure in town tourist all the money spent to make you feel and shape your positive experience so you keep coming back. Constant road work drains no matter how you put it still goes into the ocean, beach road year after years keeps going under construction. All the money made from tourist although Pattaya a special. Economic zones the general population on the East side get very little. That infrastructure is still 60 plus years behind roads beyond what tourist can see rarely get fixed on the East side where majority of Thai live who work in town. Tourist shit in five star toilets while the spetic tanks get empty at night waste taken to the East side times just dumped in empty land cause the lone waste plant can't handle the volume. When there is a drown it is the East side that has their water rational.

While a billion or so was spent to put overhead wires underground on Klang and Nua, poles on the East side hang so low wires at times hang bikers.

Just wish some of that tourist money one day benefits the rest of the population?

Hey fellow Socal brother, your trip sounds exactly like mine but going to be there 3 weeks. I would recommend booking first 1-2 days at Bangkok near nana plaza (try agoda) since you will be jetlagged and won't want to deal with it. I would keep the rest open because it's Thailand and you won't know where you will end up.
