I too was in Pattaya a few weeks ago and I must say this is an accurate and great assessment of the current scene. Overall quality of women has gone down a lot and the Indians are the prominent group of mongers now. You can find some hot ones in the Gogos on Walking Street and LK Metro but it is pricey. Soi 6 is still okay and has some younger ones but you have to be patient and choosy there to find the good ones. I went to Insomnia and found it to be filled with mainly MILFS; the days of the better scene at I Bar are gone as it was dead. I really hope the scene gets better, not sure if high season will improve the situation.

I think Pattaya and Thailand at large are in for a rude awakening this high season when the numbers they expect don't occur.

Many factors in play that suggest a week number of tourists this high season. Thailand took too long to open its borders giving other countries a head start in capturing tourists. The world is headed towards a secere recession, just look at what is going on in Europe. The tourist numbers will be much lower than expected. Given the Thais poaching mentality of tourists it is well deserved.

I think by next low season, ST rates will have dropped and LT will be more otainable. The Thais don't know what is coming with the world economy. And it's just as bad in China, so don't expect loads of Chinese to walk through the door.

I was there at New Years and again in June. Pattaya at the start of the year was in a terrible state with most places closed and bars forced to close early. Most of the girls were absent having returned home so what bars were open would have a poor selection. Roll around June and conditions were better, more bars were open and prices were lower as the few girls around were competing for fewer customers. I understand that conditions are improving and I'm looking forward to a Christmas return.

The bars are having a tough time restarting, they are finding it very hard to recruit girls at this time so they are accepting any girls willing to work but they also have to offer larger salaries and a bigger cut of the lady drinks. That's having an impact where the girls are making enough money on salary and drinks that they don't need to do even ST with customers.

It's particularly noticeable with Nightwish bars, it's rare to see girls go upstairs as they spend all their time earning money from drinks and horn-pulls. If you ask to take a girl upstairs it's pretty common for them to say that they have period or they are a drink only girl. On a Nightwish related site, there has been a growing wave of complaints about this practice, so much so that the price increase to 1500 + 400 is barely being spoken about. Loyal customers over the years are saying that they don't intend to return to Soi 6, so Nightwish is now losing customers to the Soi Pothole / LK Metro / treetown bars and I don't stop there as often as I used to either. I'm not about to boycott Nightwish but I am going to reduce my time in their bars.

There are still plenty of other options and I will make the best of it.

Much less tourists in the streets, with perhaps certain zones of LK Metro that in certain nights felt very lively, One perception I had was there is an eageness to open (or re-open) new business. Thais seem very oriented to entrepernauring activities. I wlll now divide my observations:

Beach road. Much less women that in 2019, of course the old, fat and ugly where all there, but has in the past here and there you could found doable girls. Some much better you would find in Bars or certain Go-Go's. Didn't approach any one, but noticed a certain difficulty of closing deals between the women and the punters. Many talks, but almost no closed deals.

Gentlemans clubs. Also didn't adventured to none, but saw some girls outside, not too many young ones, but that has already been said here.

Bars. Here you can find the oldest women, many of them had company, I think long time residents are already used and if what you are looking for is someone to talk, they will be better providers than a young girl. From the last 15 years its clear Soi 7 and 8 (specially this one) have less movement. The tree town bars have a very huge area, but like in the rest of the city there is too much offer, I think they are hoping high season will help. I found some interesting girls in Soi 7 bars in the beginning of the street coming from second road. I talked to a very nice 22 yr old, she was almost in her first week, but as expected she was there just for the drinks, "didn't went with customers".

Walking Street- This area seemed the most affected, much less people, not a ghost road, but in a Tuesday I went it was shocking, so empty it was. Curioulsly, the Go-Go's I visited were packed! Soi 6 - For those looking for younger girls, this is the place. A lot of them, and some pretty ones, the term "fresh from the farm" could be applied. Going in direction of walking street the right bars specially in the middle were packed with this type of girls, but there were exceptions. I had one girl in soi 6, 22 yr old just arrived, 400 for room and 1500 for her, probably overpriced, she was nice, but had just arrived, zero experienced and some damaged goods (unseen at the bar), I could have done much better on that street, next time.

In the past since there was such a big offer I always choosed someone when I entered a place, but this time I got disciplined and left without choosing sometimes. Tried PP near Soi Bukhao, good experiences in the past, but in a Saturday was totally depleted of options, very few girls, a had a drink and left. I also left the same day visiting Grand Honey, more choices, but also lacking girls. Prices as I remember started at 2. 200 , then you had 2700,3300, 3900 and some upper value for the S category perhaps 4400 or more. I also visited the other two Honeys, the one on soi 13/2 where I ended up with a girl in the M category - 2700, she was nice, but not a stunner, 32 yr old, in the past medium age were lower. Finally I repeated a girl at the other Honey in second road, it was the one with more girls. She was the best of my visit, nice face, good body and excellent attitude, 26 yr old in the V category - 3900. I found the kind of girl I wanted, but I had to pay good money. Rasputin where I had very good experiences in 2019 was closed.

Overall, I was lazy didn't played the online game or invested too many time in the mongering game (I brought work to this holiday), so my success was limited. More ahead in the direction of North Pattaya in the right opposite a Fin Up disco a bar that opened during the time I was there, perhaps 10 girls, all young and good lookig outside, no clients, they were outside looking at their phones, and made no intention of inviting me in (no "welcome Sir" perhaps they are catering for a Japonese clientele. And the other one much bigger near the end of the street called New season 88, you can google it. They probably opened one week ago and there were more than 30 girls (real number) very well dressed outside, some photographers a mistery scene. Last Tuesday I passed outside and there weren't so many girls, but still around 20 outside seated, young and good looking, inside it seemd there was a live band. I hope sooner or later someone can clarify what kind of businees model is this, is it like a G club in Bangkok where you essentially pay lady drinks? What impressed me was the fact of being so many, we are all wondering where are the good looking girls and these two new recently opened establishments on a quiet 3rd zone may have dozens of them.

There is a lot of truth to this.
