Thailand is a shell of itself from 5 years ago. Soi 6 quality nosedived. Thailand is my fave foreign country but this year I had more fun in PI and I'm ashamed to admit it. I prefer Thais personalies over Filipinas. But I had a blast in PI. Only con is prices went up and a lot of Filipinas recently had babies and got plowed during lockdowns so there kitties are on avg not as tight as Latinas at the moment even though I prefer SE Asia over Latin America. I have been here a couple of days now and there are punters around, I've been on Soi 6 and LK. Thailand has only just opened the doors to tourists so it's building up from a very low level. The next six months should continue to improve as tourists come back. The only difficulty is that some will have booked other destinations.

I am a resident of TH because it is a country where I can get laid while paying no taxes on my overseas pension, otherwise I'd live Brazil (or Colombia). More good-looking girls prostitute in Brazil than in TH. The stunners in TH now work in banks or as salesgirls, no longer in prostitution. The business model of Thai night-life is crappy (lady drinks, barfines, indentured girls, Asian-only girls etc.). If you have some money but limited holiday time, I'd say do not waste your time on Thailand.
