I attached the original Test and Go scheme from Nov 1. My comments were for fully vaccinated people from one of the 63 countries. There is no mention of a 2nd test. A second test was required for those fully vaccinated from a country other than the 63 exempt countries or for someone who is unvaccinated.

I only double checked because I had not remembered reading about a 2nd test and was seeing if I missed something. For all the hours I spent reading Thaiger, Royal Thai Government Gazette, and AN as well as watching Jay, Jett, Natty, and Jang on Youtube I was questioning my learning skills at my old age!

Anyways, all irrelevant now!

On the 22nd of December they suspended new applications for test and go and sandbox schemes (except Phuket).

All people that has already been given a Thai pass or had already lodged the Thai pass application could still come to Thailand, however a new condition was added to the test and go. And that is the second test of day 5.

So yes, if you arrived before 22nd on test and go there was just 1 test. If you are arriving after 22nd there are now 2 tests.

You could be right Banana Boi, even though the confirmation letter that I got from my hotel for my Test & Go booking mentioned this antigen test kit. And I am fully vaccinated and from one of the 63 countries.

Data is suggesting you are around 75% less likely to be hospitalised if you get Omnicron V Delta. And when hospitilzied your chance of being put into ICU is very small.

The guy who shared that link with me said Kennedy had even more serious backers, global household names he named but, if I repeated them it would derail any conversation, needlessly at this point. I was going to post a link Jimmy Dore did with RFK Jnr but Dore has removed the video.

I don't have sufficient information to decide on all these things and nor do I have sufficient trust in Fauci and his co-conspirators. However, I am interested in your travails as I have lost st least 6-8 flights / vacations during this Covid madness, with another two flights lost next month.

For those of you criticizing the flip flops of the Thai authorities, things are much worse in Europe. Where the irresponsible British cannot be consistent from one day to the next.

My take away from this threat and the boomerang backlashes you are all suffering from these flip flops is to sit tight, and not so much ride out the Coviod storm as forget about it all and try to develop a new life in this fascistic new normal we are being subjected to.

There was no 2nd test on the 5th day when you landed for your Test and Go. That is new.

I remember reading somewhere in the QR program that you were supposed to do a self test on the 5th day, at least that's what my foggy memory tells me after jumping through all of the hoops. If that was the case I never received anything after the test upon landing came back negative. The just wanted to be done with me and get onto the next guest behind their plastic screens.

In the Test and Go program (that is now suspended) they said you would receive a self test kit, if the PCR-test upon entry came back negative. With this test kit you were supposed to test yourself after 5 or 6 days, but I have never received this kit either when I was in Bangkok in November. Nor did I hear anyone say anything about it.

Thai ladies have an odd approach to sex with Farangs. From their perspective, sex with Farangs doesn't count. I know married Thai ladies for sneak out to fuck Farangs, and from their perspective, If they fuck a Farang for money, it doesn't count. However, if they fuck a Thai man for free, that is cheating on their husband. If they fuck a Thai man for money, they are working girls. If they fuck a Farang for free, that is very bad.

If they fuck a Thai karaoke boy and give him money, that is very bad if she is married. If she is single and pays a Thai boy, other ladies will laugh, but are secretly jealous.

If a Thai lady has a Farang living with her, but she hooks up with a Thai man on the side, that is 100% normal. If she lives with a Farang, but fucks other Farangs for money, well, a lady has to make a living. No shame there.

I spent the night in a pool villa with 4 drunk ladies. 2 were up for anything, but 2 came from a village and didn't want the other to know she fucked me.

There was the obligatory swimming, after which 2 ladies showered with me.

Then there was drinking.

Yes the place was hopping, traffic is just like it has always been. A bottleneck. Noticed lots of tourists walking around without a mask, wonder how long that will be acceptable. Stopped by Prime Burger and had one of their smash burgers. Absolutely fantastic. Also amazed to see the manager and the hostess walking around without masks on as well.

On a side note. Its happened many times here. Saw a girl from Thai Friendly who listed herself as 5'4 and in walks this tiny waif of a girl. Get things going and she's just super tiny, she pulls out a condom and puts it on me and rolls it down barely 2 inches and spreads her legs. No attempt to roll it all of the way down. My guess is she's new to the scene and has never used a condom before. Has happened many times overseas for me.

When did you land? The 2nd test in the Test & Go scheme was introduced the same day they shut down the Test & Go server.

Future "Test and Go" entries are required to have the PCR test upon entry plus a follow-up PCR test (free) on day 5-6. That should identify travelers who caught COVID during their flights to Thailand. After your negative entry PCR test, you will be allowed to go wherever you please, but you need to define where you will be on day 5-6 so the follow up PCR test can be arranged.

I think the course of events that HorseTrader described only applies to people who have obtained their Thailand Pass QR code before December 22.

Mogwai is correct. My post was not clear on that point.

Unless you already have your QR code, the current policy makes the 7-day Phuket Sandbox the only reasonable way to enter Thailand.

As far as I have understood the new rules, you have to stay in quarantine for 7 days (if you're fully vaccinated) or 10 days (if you're not vaccinated). Even if your entry PCR test is negative.
The only exception is the Phuket Sandbox.

As of December 22 you can only apply for alternative quarantine or the Phuket Sandbox. You cannot apply for Test & Go anymore.
So this means at least 7 days of quarantine if you want to go to Bangkok or Pattaya directly.

Yes, that is correct. The test and go and all sandbox programs except Phuket have been suspended until January 4. They will make an announcement on Jan 4 as to whether the program will restart or remained suspended. Most people are resigned for the suspension to continue until there is a clear outcome on Omnicron cases.

The people that applied and received their Thai Pass can still enter under the test and go program or sandbox programs around the country.
