It gives 5 pages in PDF but you can take screenshot of first page only and attach the first page only in thailand pass process. There is a provision to attach 3 pdf files on last stage of application. You can attach your insurance pdf file there. Simple as that. Also, flights of Thai airways will fly from 2 Jan onwards, so book them. Thank me later.

Hope everyone is doing well. I've been following this thread for a while now since I had a trip to Thailand come on my itinerary. I'm coming to Thailand soon in January for around 11-14 days and I'm thinking of splitting it up between Bangkok and Pattaya. This is my first time coming to Thailand and have a couple of questions and wondering if anyone could help me? First of is 6 days enough to visit Pattaya? Is it better to visit it on during the week or are weekends in Pattaya more crazy? Lastly. Any hotel recommendations please? I'm looking at the Hilton Pattaya and wondering if there are any other guest friendly hotels you guys would recommend? Hard Rock Cafe Hotel? Are all hotels in Pattaya guest friendly overall? Or do 5 star hotels have a strict no guest policy?

There's always chick's who go on Tour. As far as decent looking it depends on your definition of decent looking.

I get ladies who drink with me telling stories about customers, and the most common are customers who don't fuck.

I suspect this is all lies from your lady friends.

I occasionally heard the same thing with a few girls in the past, and each time it was big lies. Most of the time they were bullshitting for no reason, just girls that like to talk a lot, so they told a lot of false stories.

But I still suspect some others were done purposely to lead me to something than I didn't want maybe.

Ban Chang is not in a zone where they allow even restaurants to sell alcohol. There have been repeated reports of bars being forced to close.

Not a good idea to go into a closed bar. Only a matter of time before the police raid the bar.

Pattaya had the highest crowd of girls and customers yesterday. Reported by my Indian friends on youtube. Almost all bars are working with some clubs like Hooters working too, as seen in their youtube videos. Not many freelancers on the beach road but you can find them at other popular spots and bars in Pattaya.

The airline "Thai smile" is going to fly since 2nd January with only 3 flights per week, while from 15th January it will fly daily.

Bangkok also has the Nana plaza operating with girls and customers till 11 in night now. Many bars working and many clubs working too. Mongers can have fun for sure.

If you want a completely bustling city right now itself, then take 1 more flight from Bangkok to Phuket and you will see 50 girls standing outside popular bars.

The bar situation in Pattaya is a mess now. Bars are pretending to be restaurants but are not appropriately licensed. I can see about 30 days of raids and mayhem until January 16. Meanwhile, Omicron will do its best to generate more lockdowns.

I am working on a new strategy for hooking up with ladies, but in the meantime, I am banging the twins nightly. My ex has informed her customer boyfriend that she has a family emergency and is going back to the village. Meanwhile, we are on our way to Chiang Rai for a week. Dec 16th was suppose to be the day All bars opened, but the Chonburi governor ordered yesterday, the 16th: "Bars, pubs, karaokes, nightclubs, entertainment venues, soapies, essentially the entire nighttime economy is still legally and officially closed. " Supposedly, the Chonburi police went around yesterday an told bars to remain closed. However, walking around last night, the bars that had opened the night before were open. Tree Town and the Buahkao area was hopping!

Also supposedly, there is an unofficial agreement with bars / entertainment industry and the city (and the maybe the province,) to allow the bars to open, as long as they look like restaurants. The Governors order may be a face saving gesture to the CCSA. The next few days may be interesting as the Bangkok and Chonburi police can come to Pattaya and raid places.

The next Date that has been mentioned for nationwide bar opening is Jan 16th, IIRC. These dates that are mentioned by government officials, even Prayut, are not set in stone.

How is Pattaya overall going now? I read online that there was a meeting to get the nightlife venues open before new years.

Also are the markets open? If you are lucky you can literally pick up some of the cute girls who man some of the stalls. They always talk to you if you are close to their stall anyways looking for a deal and once they talk to you, you work your magic.

You could also add thay Pattaya is a much more 1 dimensional city than Phuket and BKK. The main activity in Pattaya is mongering, and the majority of guys are just scraping buy. Sure there are some guys with cash. Lots of cash, but the majority are guys hanging up on Soi Buakhao who probably cannot afford the gogos in Walking St.

There are the other many things to do in Bangkok and Phuket. So they tend to draw a much greater diversity of people than the typical Pattaya sterotype that will sit in a beer bar on Buakhao all day.

Yes, if you want a general holiday, Pattaya is not so great.

If you want ladies, Pattaya is pretty good right now.

No, I'm not in Pattaya, but I have been many many many times.

I actively choose not to be there, tho occasionally visit.

What facts do I base my opinion on?

Well how about first hand knowledge, from visits, from talking with working girls and punters that are friends and live there, and also bar owners.

Also from reading comments in many a forum by punters heading there, and bemoaning the covid era changes.

Lastly, its a generalization as a comment.

Of course not all Pattaya visitors are cheap charlies, but it has always been the case that such punters headed there in far higher numbers than anywhere else in Thailand.

And they still head there in greater numbers than they do elsewhere now that Thailand is reopening.

I look forward to your arguments and facts in rebuttal.
