It's a general stereotype that Cheap Charlie's go to Pattaya and rich guys go to BKK. Yes, there are many more low end expats and tourists in Pattaya vs BKK but from a guy who lived in Pattaya for a few years condo rental, food in restaurants, taxis, gogo girl barfines, etc are all more expensive in Pattaya than BKK. Pre-COVID, what was cheaper in Pattaya were Soi 6 girls, G Club girls, and Beach Road FL's.

I like the casual getting to know a girl in a beer bar. Play some games and a little casual groping. You can tell if she going to be a fun affectionate lay. Money matters to me too. You can spend 1000 baht in a gogo bar in ten minutes if you don't pay attention. I liked the beer bars in nakula in pattaya and the out of the way beer bars in Phuket. I liked seeing the same girl over weeks. I miss Thailand.

Problem with Beer Bats is the girls are just so unattractive. Hence very, other than a few popular places, they are extremely Devoid of customers.

More bars opening in Pattaya tomorrow. Although tourists are pouring into Pattaya, I am seeing some spreading out of customers around town, so bars aren't jammed.

What facts do you base your oppinion on? Are you even in Pattaya? Such generalization is simply ridiculous and no explanation for the present shortage of girls here. The situation is a lot more complex than that.

No, I'm not in Pattaya, but I have been many many many times.

I actively choose not to be there, tho occasionally visit.

Well how about first hand knowledge, from visits, from talking with working girls and punters that are friends and live there, and also bar owners.

Also from reading comments in many a forum by punters heading there, and bemoaning the covid era changes.

Lastly, its a generalization as a comment.

Of course not all Pattaya visitors are cheap charlies, but it has always been the case that such punters headed there in far higher numbers than anywhere else in Thailand.

And they still head there in greater numbers than they do elsewhere now that Thailand is reopening.

Comparing go-go's to beer bars in apples and oranges. I've had way more fun at beer bars than in throwing my money away in a go-go bar. While Bacarra is one of my favorites; dealing with elbow to elbow seating with chain smokers on either side; I'll take a beer bar any day. That doesn't even factor in the high cost of beers, lady drinks, bar fines and ST / LT charges in the go-gos. Beer bars will be the first to safely reopen; go-go's will be the last, if they reopen at all. Final point; I've had more intimacy with a girl in a beer bar that in any go-go bar. As soon as I see the beer bars reopen, I'm back in a flash!

Correct for Pattaya, only the Cheap Charlie's are going there at the moment.

Guy I know did a G Club tour the other afternoon.

1. Kinnaree. Not that busy. Definitely more girls than guys. He said around 20 girls.

2. Heaven. Not that busy but Heaven has always sort of been like that. Girls there but not many guys.

3. Camel Toe. This place was very busy.

Always remember This is Thailand. 2 different Immigration officers will do things completely opposite of the other. Sure some guys may get through Immigration with an AirBNB address but is that really the chance you want to take? At the very least book a hotel after your Test and Go for 1 or 2 nights to show you at least you booked a hotel. Most hotels are free cancellation anyways so you can always cancel your reservation after Immigration while you are in the Test and Go hotel.

Anyways, let's get back to the girls instead of this ABNB discussion. Who went to Camel Toe last night? How was the food in the restaurant?

I haven't been going to Camel Toe much lately because of the crowds there, both customers and ladies. Maybe I will have lunch there today.

Also would like to add, Airbnb is not totally illegal, what it means is that if you show the visa officials about your AirBNB booking, then they might not consider it and you might get deported. Although, I have seen a guy here on this forum writing that it was not an issue for his Visa process.

This makes a lot of sense. Why would the Girls come back? The only tourists coming is the hardest core of hard core Boom Boom tourist. For the newbies- Cheapest of Charlies.

Saw a few days old Video of Walking St. Absolute Ghost Town. Tree Town look busy but its just Thais eating and drinking on Benches.

Correct for Pattaya, only the Cheap Charlie's are going there at the moment.

So the girls aren't rushing back in droves.

Phuket and Bangkok are better places for them right now with more quality punters / spenders there as more activities and options are open to enjoy an evening out partying. Pattaya probably will eventually get there, but honestly, the government is not encouraging it.

Pattaya has the problem, not Thailand.

It's because the powers to be want to kill off Pattaya's much to high profile seedy image.

Phuket is buzzing right now, and Bangkok is starting to simmer and will get on the boil very quickly.

That is where the attractive girls now have gone.

If you wait, you will get the new Thailand, whatever that will be.

Right now it is alive, with great girls around.

If you're a value punter, and not a cheap Charlie, you will do OK.
