Happy New Year.

When I went from BKK Ekkamai to Pat last time ended up at North Bus Station. Only way getting there and from seems a TukTuk mafia charging 50 Bath to Beach road or walking from or to Terminal 21 (not advisable IMHO). Is there any alternative or does the Bus from Suvarnaburmi Airport stop at a better place (a YT video claimed near Terminal 21 before heading to Jomtiem Beach)? Strangely I found no info on this. Maybe I am overlooking something?

See some of you end of the month, will be my first time in high season, looking forward to it.

The Jomtien bus stops at Pattaya North Road, on Sukhumvit, as well as near Pattaya Tai.

Normally, I would advise taking a Bolt taxi, but they are very busy now.

There are no Tuk Tuks in Pattaya, but try Bolt. Maybe I am not understanding. You are looking to pay less than 50 baht to get to your hotel?

Again, check your facts. If you are referring to GST it is 9%. But Singapore has one of the lowest income tax rates with a max rate of 15% and no tax on capital gains and dividends. Most locals pay well below 10%. Plus locals get super subsidized housing. So in fact there is a good amount of disposable income here. Especially amongst young people who live with their parents until they get married, sometimes well into their 30's. THey have no actual expenses so even a $4 K per month salary with low taxes allows a lot of shopping trips to Bangkok.

The day after New Years Eve was surprisingly dead, with a lot of bars closed, at least on Soi Chaiyapoon.

Where the bars were open, lots of ladies, not so many customers.

Maggie Mays was strangely quiet, with many ladies gone. Barfined for the holidays. I guess I will soon be guilty of that, as I am taking a MM to Japan for a few days.

Don't know which one you talk about but number 3 looks like she or he came out from a Frankenstein movie.

The 1st lady, pic again below is Pandan from Queens Agogo. Also on TF. Trying to get her today but she may have gone on holidays home. She is a dream, but like most Agogo ladies, thinks she can milk the Baht.
