Personally I've been in gogos and can well afford to take even the most expensive gals there, but don't care for the environment as opposed to that of the easier picking up of SWs street walkers.

Being around noisy music and customers in a smoke filled dark place where communication is more difficult is not my idea of fun.

The availability of alcohol means nothing to me as I don't drink it and prefer that my sex partner is sober as opposed to drunk out of her mind.

That I'm already well experienced with and satisfied with SWs doesn't encourage me to learn the new game of picking up ladies elsewhere.

Moreover picking up SWs requires less game. The less I have to work at getting a PFP pay for play gal the better.

Not having to dick around with or pay for lady drinks or BFs bar fines or learn the individual rules of each gogo is just a bonus incentive to all of the above to avoiding them altogether.

I agree with you. I can also afford those expensive GoGo girls but I recently stopped patronizing them for the same reasons you did. I am very content with SWs, not too difficult to find decent looking girls, and much less expensive.

My usual M. O. is to hold off on sex until night time (unless I have barfined a lady long time). So, during the day, I prefer to go to a bar where I can play with a lady. What I am finding is that customers are so few that a lady will respond to a couple of drinks by removing her clothes, nobody is shy anymore. The level of naughtiness is a lot higher than the pre-Covid days. So, I will diddle and get diddle during the day, and hold off on a night lady.

The news today is that the number of visitors in Pattaya is 1% of the number a year ago, so the ladies are hungry.

There are still plenty of ladies, so quantity and quality are not a problem.

You are correct sir! Thailand is completely binary. Either they do or don't, will or won't. Pattaya is completely overrun with poor and dark Isaan poon that most legit Thai men (as in non-laborers, non-motorbike taxi, or businessmen) won't go near. Newbie farang goes to Patts, fall in love and marry. Once in Sukhamvit Rd. A very hot non-pro gave me a look to kill me upon my proposition, hehe!

These dark Isaan ladies come from villages where their options for a hookup don't include businessmen, mostly they see laborers, farmers, or other working class types. So nothing new for them in Pattaya, except for the hordes of motorbike taxi guys.

What is different is that there is a concentration of Tomboys in the bigger cities, so they are exposed to that option as soon as they earn some baht. What amazes me is that I never see older ladies hooked up with older Tomboys, ie long term relationships. It's as if Tomboys are a recent innovation. I guess in the old days, Tomboys were closeted, and endured relationships with men.

BTW, if you want to know if your barfine is living with her Thai boyfriend, just ask if she has a room in the bar, if no, it generally means she shares a room with a Thai man.

I went to the Den on Soi Chaiyapoon the other day. It's a very comfortable establishment, nice sofas, scantily clad ladies. My only complaint is the Mamasan who directs the ladies. Too much control.

Those on BR Beach Road in Pattaya are of particular interest. From watching many youtube videos of BR it seems there may have been at least as many attractive ladies there in 2020 and 2021 as in 2018 and 2019. BTW I wonder how many of those of 2020 and 2021 would usually be working in a gogo, beer bar or other PFP pay for play venue during pre covid times.

Also I noticed that often the BR ladies are approached by those of apparently Southern Asian origin.

High and low season was more for the bargirls imo. They are the ones who used the term because they all looked forward to high season meaning more customers and cash.

It's possible that this high low season stuff was initiated by hotels as they were the quickest to use that excuse to explain their inflated prices.

Still remember girls asking me why there is no high season this year. I'm guessing it's because prices of lady drinks nearly doubled from 2015 to 2018, barfines on a certain Soi increased, and the introduction of the term models became more prominent. To me all it meant was much cooler weather in high season.

Retail. High season Christmas. Make lots of money.

BarGirls. High season. Make lots of money.

A superstar in high season makes $5,000. Low season 3,000.

Brings up another subject I do all the time, my car insurance is with Allstate and one of my cars are paid off, so when I travel (a month or more) call Allstate and put only requirements (pip) needed on that vehicle and they send rebate check " !

I'll try that with my AAA auto insurance. Thanks for mentioning it. T-Mobile and my cable and internet providers allow me to save when I leave the country as well.

Schwab is a bank but what they are mostly known for is for being a brokerage. You don't need to be a citizen or resident to open a brokerage account but there are stipulations. I suggest those who want to know if opening a brokerage allows for opening a checking and obtaining an ATM card can contact them just Google.

I had a Schwab Bank Account when I was residing in the states. After notifying them on my intentions of moving to Thailand, Schwab then transferred my holdings into a Global brokerage account and issued me a ATM card connected to it.

AIS has much faster data than TMo and my Thai friends have an easier (and cheaper) time calling my Thai phone number than my US phone number. Outgoing calls in Thailand cost about B1. 00/ minute with AIS and incoming Thai calls are free. Calls to the US from Thailand are US. 09/ minute, but I don't do that much. Family and friends reach me via What's App or Viber.

Yes you can save money this way. T Mobile puts my TMo account on vacation hold and I don't have to pay the $50/ monthly fee while I'm gone. This only works if you leave for a month or more. Don't think its applicable to 1-2 week trips.

Not sure what you mean by saying it's cheaper to get a sim (which I did for many years) but now switched to t mobile and my bill is 55 a month every month of the year even while in Thailand for 2 months at a time (even Medellin same) , please tell me where I save more money by getting a sim on top of having my t mobile, thanks, I land I turn on my phone and done, haven't looked back since, no more blood sucking att I had for many many years!

I walked down Soi Chaiyapoon last night (stumbled, actually) and saw that I was the only Farang on the street. Great for me, not so much for the bargirls.

I cannot remember a better time to be in Pattaya.
