Sorry for the confusion. The 2 daughters from the first marriage are in their mid-30's. The last daughter, from a second marriage to man now deceased, is in her late teens. She is the one who was injured. To add to the confusion, both of the older daughters have children who are roughly the same age as their youngest aunt, all 3 being in their late teens. And the oldest daughter has a son about to turn 2. She has been married to the same man throughout. So, the mother has a total of 3 grandchildren. This is not exactly an irresponsible, baby making family. I can add too that the mother never encouraged anyone to go to Pattaya to work, and was instrumental in getting Secret to quit the bar. She and Secret are determined that the youngest will go to college, to study either teaching or nursing.

Transferwise didn't work for her getting money out of Thailand. She used Western Union. Lost about 0.5% on exchange rates but if Danny is truly concerned about losing his 800k baht that's a VERY small price to pay. Doesn't this invalidate his OA Retirement Visa though?

In America I'm sure you get a long time before institution turns money over to Government.
You might want to look up Deemoney.com?

I honestly don't know if that is possible since I only make transfers from my home country bank to my Thailand bank and not the other way around. I didn't need to be present at either bank to set it up. It was alll done over the Internet.

Costs about $10 USD per $1,000 USD transferred overseas and takes 2 business days or less to receive it.
About 5 years ago one of my USA citizen Thai girlfriend sold 2 pieces of Thailand real estate and she needed to move about 100,000 USD from her Thailand bank to her USA bank. I suggested she looked into bank to bank transfers, but she said that was expensive. I didn't look at details. In the end she carried about 10,000 USD cash to USA after each Thailand visit. She had friends and family act as mules.

I thought that was a terrible system, but she insisted that it was the best way for her.

If you are really concerned. You can easily get your money out of Bangkok Bank. Get one of your favorite girls who you trust to withdraw the money and send it back to you. Before you think this is such a crazy idea I have been having my favorite girl doing this exact thing. I had way more than 800 k in my Thai bank account.

If you don't have any girls who would go the extra mile for you I'm sure you could call Bangkok Bank through your home bank and have them work something out.

Are your statements directed about the entire Thai culture or just a certain portion of it?
Sorry for the delayed! Been preparing the last two weeks up here in the farm for my son Dharma ceremony. Not being religious I never thought too much about it but when it got here it is unbelievable the undertaking the important it seem to be in their culture for the male if you can actually afford. The days leading up to the 7-8th was like watching them put the Super Bowl together family members coming out of the woodworks to help tents, table, chairs, water tanks, plates, spoons, we spend 4 hours at Makro one day buying all the necessary items had them deliver everything and I mean everything in a flatbed truck. They used the family tractors to prepare the emtpy rai of land that hasn't had homes built dig areas for cleaning and cooking I wasn't allow to help too much my assignment was to stay clear and work on the house itself. While doing so it was like watching her family put together one of those Moster truck shows over a weekend everyone knew exactly what to do and when to do it the major event went on for two straight days with very little sleep up by 4 am with music, get shower and here we go again. The last day being his father I and the mother dress up in traditional clothes lead a small parade with family dancing in front of the tractor playing music it was like a float for Songkran, a few hours spent at the Temple, praying, chanting with the Monks, then the final is to return to the house with 19 Monks in the living room and my son giving his final respect to us. An hour after the Monk left with their donation and food the family had already removed and clean up 90%.

I will be the first to admit in 15 years I've haven't travel to many places in Thailand so in no way I'm a expert to answer your question. First and foremost my opinions are a vast generalization I've talked to many people who have lived in Thailand and I've never been challenged as to my views. When you speak about Isaan maybe because so many women working in the P4 P industry comes from that section and do their trade in Pattaya and Bangkok. Years back I met and spend a lot of time with P4 P and what I experience with them pretty much comfirm what I already concluded but of course outside of the region of Isaan these view do exist girls working in the business do come from throughout Thailand.

What I do know how they think in Bangkok and Pattaya been told many times even by Thais that these two places aren't part of Thailand. The way I've been treated outside of these two places and certainly with the experience I've had with her family and the region they reside would confirm. Everyone I've met in her town, village, since day one has been nothing short of respectful since we met 20 years ago the last two weeks I've gotten to know the men and women better they speak to my wife from the expression on their face I'm one of them and after the event I made sure to go around on my own drink and THANK them personally!

    Just you wait

You naysayers are going to be so embarrassed when we get to the part where she shows up at his hotel room door (pre Covid) all pretty and shaved as smooth as a billiard ball, fitted up with those time-release birth control pellets in her arm, deep dives into DFK and prolonged teasing BBBJ all on her own initiative, insists on BBFS+CIP without hesitation or BBFS+CIM+Swallow, totally up to him whenever he wants for the duration of their time together in gratitude for his unrequested support and to celebrate their special relationship based primarily on honesty.

And all with no more urgent rescue money bomb hints dropped here and there on a regular basis. That's bound to be the payoff ending.

You and I are not the only ones that happens to if we just behave politely, generously and hope for the best. There is way too much cynicism here.

You are phenomenal. You are most likely older than your intended whose mother started having children over thirty years ago and one of whose daughters got her leg crushed when she was a teenager. If I were in your shoes I would do what I can to help them.

    Secrete Update

I asked my future wife to tell me something, about herself before I send her on money. She replies like wtf, why am I so pushy? I don't know her name, nothing. She is probably a male Nigerian scammer but, as she has zero chance of getting a nickel out of me, who cares? A lot of these women post they are not toys to be f-the with. Don't know why they blame me as I did not write the LBFM playbook.

These secretes develop in such a way that they just want handouts their entire herpes ridden lives. I pity the farmers expecting these lumps to save the hay.

Going into SE Asia high season and not a monger in sight. This is even worse than when Pampanga was covered in volcanic ash.

    Send ME Money Now

For those of you not bored to death by that fool's "romance", I need you to send ME money now. Let me explain. I fool about on the love sites, telling women I love them, how pretty they are etc. I keep it clean, as one should always do with third world hookers.

This chick replied: Send me money.

    Me: How much.

    She: 100. I have paypal.

Me: Send you money without even talking to you, knowing you, dating (ha ha) you?

    She: No reply yet.

Guys, I really need your help in this as I am sure this is the love of my life, that we will marry and have kids together. However, as I don't feel I should take all the risks, I want you guys to pony up. In return, I will post occasional updates here st my discretion. I am not sure if I can invite any of you to the wedding but your help there is also appreciated (paypal only).
