I have not been on here in a long time but have caught up on the posts and sheesh, things are sad in Pattaya due to CV! But as for many of us, this stupid pandemic terminated some ambitious plans I had regarding Thailand this year. I had planned a trip for April / May, and I probably would have come back again in August and certainly again in November / December (for which I still have an active hotel reservation I have not cancelled yet). My last trip to LOS was at the end of 2019 so again, like many of you, I am getting anxious to return. But I am not posting to discuss Thailand opening up again. Oh no. This forum has become boring so I am back to report on "Secret", the Soi 6 bar girl I managed to fall for last year.

For the newbies who may be interested in the story, my first post about her was on April 24,2019, post number 277798. That was before I started calling her Secret, so named as I was secretive about her real name and the bar she worked at. My last post about her, 28637, was posted a few weeks after I returned home in mid-September 2019.

Well, I think my reports were sufficiently clear to show I was trying to see if it was possible to establish a true relationship with a "special" Soi 6 bar girl. The common wisdom is to never attempt such a thing. The internet is full of horror stories, with only a smidgen of successful stories regarding farangs hoping to marry an Issan bar girl (BG). I felt Secret was special as she passed all the tests regarding how a BG out for money would behave in a variety of situations. You guys warned me but each test I gave her she passed. I did end my reporting with some words how I felt about love with a BG. My conclusions from that last post included the following verbatim:

Can real love be found with a bar girl? Apparently the answer is yes, though the story is not over. But it takes work and a lot of understanding. It may require giving her some money (just keep it real). It may also require a lot of luck a heck of a lot of luck and a friend of hers who is on your side. I don't see how, but I think I will end the discussion here, as to say more quickly becomes unpleasant.

So, that was a year ago. What about now? Did Secret actually leave the bar as she promised to find legit work or did she stay / return to Pattaya and become a hardened bar girl? Or heck, had she actually been working as a BG for years and was playing me like fiddle?! But if she did leave Pattaya and did find legit work, did she come to dislike the long hours and low pay and come to miss the excitement and money Pattaya offered and decide to go back? Were you guys right and she was lying that entire time to me, or did I finally come to my senses and dump here before she took all my money? Where is she now, or do I even know or do I even care for that matter? Did she finally fall for me but I ran out of money so she dumped me when I could not afford an engagement ring? Did I discover she had other men sending her money and were seeing her in or outside of Pattaya, or was I truly the only one as she said? Did she get me to buy her a fancy car, pay for boob job and nose job and is now living with her Thai boyfriend in a house I built for her on the land she had a mortgage on that I paid off? Did I dump her after finding she was on Thai Friendly in Bangkok and she later begged me to take her back? Did I meet her mother who offered me her 17 year old virgin daughter if I married Secret? Or, are we in love and waiting for the pandemic to end so I can go marry her and see my baby son whom we created in Phuket last November?

I will provide answers. I will also give some suggestions and advice for those men who fall for a Bar Girl (BG) to help them discover what your "special" girl is actually up to, and how to decide if she is for real or, more likely, a fake or one simply leading you on for as long as you want to be led on. I mean, many of us manage to fall for a Thai BG and get taken as we are blinded by our love and cannot fathom the extent some of these girls will go to get your money.

So let me mention two YouTube blog sites regarding farangs, love and bar girls in Thailand. Many of you are probably familiar with the YouTube channel "Land of Smiles" blog with Simon, a former Pattaya bar manager. He tells some eye-opening stories about what Isan farm girls, corrupted by the life of a bar girl and hungry for money, can do to hapless gentlemen who just wants to find happiness with an attractive younger woman who will tell him what he wants to hear. (And the stories are hardly limited bar ladies.) His stories can take months for him to tell, but some will blow you way. There is also Mike on "Thailand Bound". He just tells the story over minutes vs. Months. Any man finding themselves falling for a bar girl should listen to some of these stories by Mike and Simon. Even if you think your particular girl "is different", you can hear actual stories where the man thought the same thing but ended up getting crushed in multiple and very creative ways! Hearing stories from both after I last left Pattaya has caused a few uncomfortable moments where I have to stop and think if Secret was acting like some of those deceitful girls. Fortunately, I do have a logical mind that generally self-limits my stupidity, and you may read of some that in my stories. But despite the doom and gloom predictions of falling for a BG, there is that rare exception. And for sure, there is one story Simon tells where you think the girl is pure evil but, in the end, things proved to be quite different. I was fighting back the tears watching it. Was Secret like that woman and I had tears of happiness for sticking with her? Or were my tears because she wasn't and my heart still breaks?

Before I start, let me provide some preliminary advice that has guided me along this journey. As I said in my original reports, "Actions speak louder than words. " FL Hawk's corollary to that is "If she acts like a BG, she is a BG. " If you fall for a BG, ALWAYS ask yourself if she is acting like a BG or more like a girlfriend (GF) or, at least, acting like how a potential or future girlfriend would act. Trust but verify. Keep a record of your interactions so, in a moment of sanity, you can go back and read them with a fresh mind. I use this forum to document original encounters. If you do that and find later that your original description of her is horrifying to you, take heed. That could be who she actually is, especially if she is still acting like that (as a BG). I saved the vast majority of my Line texts I had Secret, which has been helpful to remember things (in case she tries to change a story on you months later). And of course, watch what you spend. Think of money you spend on her as entertainment. Never spend more than you can afford to lose. I sometimes spent a little just to keep things going or see what might happen. Some might call it gambling. Think of the odds of success when you give out money and always make sure you are left with enough funds at the end so you could do it all over again. The worst would be win her then get dumped when she finds you have spent all the money!

Anyway, with that bit of preliminary advice and some background, I am ready to proceed with the rest of the Secret story. I will say I have a number of stories to tell that I think will prove entertaining. I am kind of amazed looking back. I do think it may be fun to first hear from you guys about what you think happened, or is happening. The reason it is customary to quote prices in the local currency is because exchange rates fluctuate, and your reported prices can become quickly out of date. Over the years I have exchanged USD in range of 29 to 40 to the THB. Big difference in cost depending on your timing.

I think the only other G club that can come close to Kinnaree in having customers is LE Passion. The place can get pretty busy at times. Pirates can seem busy as well more so because it's such a tiny bar.

I never got the fervor about Kinnaree. Line up is outdated and the vibe is similar as a decade ago. The Mews nearby is more refreshing IMO. But when it comes to real cuties gogo level you can get for a thousand bahts nothing can compare with Babylon. Get there and check the likes of Sa, Ton or Lin. The latter has an awesome body you can't find in another GC. She can finish me in minutes in BJ area.

Passion also has hot ones. I didn't get there for long but I saw a group of hotties in town, only to find out they are Passion girls. I'll pay a visit soon enough.

I actually quite enjoy the Wednesday and Saturday BBQ food at Kinnaree. It's a 1000 baht minimum on drinks and barfines for free food.
