I fully confirm. A friend of mines, resident in Bangkok, recently moved to Pattaya, staying at Avani (former Marriott), 5 stars hotel. He has been hosting for 3 days a 21 years old model in his luxury Terrace Suite and pays her 1000 baht / day +, obviously, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks in the hotel. She is very happy and he fucks her in every hole 2 - 3 times / day, without condom. And he is 65!

Not much to report.

Didn't make a trip down to Soi 6, but did make the following. W. S. I didn't see any of the GoGo's open but the Russian place M. Rouge. I noticed because at 9:00 pm With police lights flashing and what seems to be about 2 plus dozen of cops and filming crew converged on the Candy Shop, it was pretty crowded seem like standing room only with a band playing. Not sure what they were looking for except the big cop of Banglamung using the 1st day to do photo op after 10 minutes or so they all came back out and went across the Soi to the open bar in front of Soi Diamond again a photo ops with a few ladies.

On to Soi Baukhao, no GoGos were opened although I thought during the day seeing Crystal, Kink, and Queens doing so cleaning. Bunch of small bars opens like Scooters, Carmel Toe, Race Car doing good business with people drinking. Area 51 on Soi Diana was opened. Freetown, not too busy food court Pattaya Soul had a few Thai customers, and Beer Hub opened again but didn't seem to have customers? Many of places that were opened were beer bars GC like 555, Naugthy, and Buka. Hang in there folks just the first day and it rained.

And we have rain on the day of resurrection at around 7:30 pm. Only Moulin Rouge opened and of course empty, no customers, no Russian window dancer, and only 2 girls. The rest of WS looked dead besides 7-11. Soi 6 was about 30% open, Night Wish Bars were full, but the quality of girls was worse than I've ever seen it before. I think the better looking ones got hip to the TF game like I said they would. I know of about 20-25 girls that did not return to their respective bars and are still in Pattaya. Good for them as they make enough to not have to rent out those rooms above the Soi bars to have deducted from their drinks commission or salary. Kind of like being stuck as an indentured servant. If the girls don't make enough, they are basically working for a place to sleep every month.

I had a chick from the darkside stay with me last night. Where that KIK place is. She just woke me up to take her back. She said she has to work in 1 hour.

KIK? I think the place is closed been closed for a long time but the place next door Pasca? Might be where she is going to work or maybe I got it wrong? That is the top of Soi Khao Talo / Khao Noi around from the 7/11, the heavy locations of many of the Darkside places are just passed Siamburi. I haven't been up there in a month since Siamburi stopped selling the cheap blue cheese I use for my daily salad.

I rarely venture to any of the Darkside places and I know each one since I use to make a map for a guy on another who posted it on another website. I stay away the places are too close to home I never know who might be my neighbor working at one of these places so I keep myself in town action. Girls working the Darkside don't last long they move on quickly?

Yes, new Go Go bars that pop up with a brand new sign, last a month or two, is how money often magically disappears from the wallets of foreigners who have that "dream" of being part owner in a strip club. It was not long ago, when I built up my own reputation and was tossing 15 - 30,000 baht a night, for 60 days, on every trip to Pattaya for 2 years straight, that "they" tried to recruit me to do the same. My father raised me so much smarter than whatever game they tried to throw at me. Besides, I told them that our family has no money of our own. We don't work that way. Why the heck would I want to stress myself out about a shady investment, doing illegal activities, in a corrupt ass country that I know nothing about. And why should I trust people who approach me, only after seeing me ring the bell like 10 times in a row at Sapphire? I thank them for buying my drinks and dinner, but I am here for the girls, so let me enjoy my time. I gave them a contact phone number to reach somebody associated with my father and his associates, in case they still wanted to talk more. Not sure what happened after they took it. They never spoke another word about it after that. In this world, there are some individuals that have the ability to bring a business to its knees. It's better to let those dogs lie still. I think it is worse in Angeles City and also Vietnam though. They tried it there too.

With regards to Black Banana, it would be rather odd if they put a gay bar on Walking Street and not in Boyztown nearby. The signage was in Korean, which is meant to attract Korean customers. I doubt if the Koreans come here for the gay bars, especially "if" located on the quite visible Walking Street. I have a feeling Black Banana may just be a poor choice words to naming a Go Go bar. But who knows? A Chippendale's for the women? I just know that spot is very unlucky and very shady.

When it comes to Black Banana I heard this from someone can't remember who it was now! But the location the last two years before BB (not Banana Boi's) hehe there was two other GoGos opened and then closed prior I think it was a pizza place outside? Not sure of the Korean sign maybe from leftover? Not even sure the Wood bar is still upstairs was opened to cater to the Japanese of Koreans.

When it comes to opening bars and clubs I agree with your assessment even if I was a million or billionaire why would you even consider a venture such as this there are so many uninformed wannabes running around town. Just enjoy the fruit of others and as you noted ring the bell all night at the best places and you would still be ahead. I enjoy going out after my farang dinner and end up at a place or two for the evening. Two things you see girls and a bunch of farang owners / managers running around with their heads cut off.

Tonight will be very interesting to see who makes the attempt? I just came back from a cruise what a change from Monday today Soi 6 many had their doors open already with girls or cleaning up, same as you noted the few big bars on Beach Road corner Soi 7, Silver GoGo closed but even before the Virus why and how they stay open is anyone?

W. S. I went through again but didn't see any activity only one Tantra had their door open and was checking out their sound system didn't see any activity outside Sapphire or Dollhouse. Prior I visited Dollhouse a lot Sapphire not in 3 years no skin! I went through W. S. To get to the top of the hill to see if my favorite Kinnaree GC was going to open not today but plenty of workers outside getting it ready maybe tomorrow or weekend. As for LK, the same three I mentioned but a number of bars like the Cave were getting ready.

Sure it will be interesting but remember places have to close at Midnight?

Did another afternoon walk on the Eve of the Resurrection of entertainment venues. Looks like a few beer bars on BR will try to make a go at it by cleaning up their places. Down Soi Made in Thailand or America (can't remember as I don't frequent there), it was dusty and empty as usual. Where it V's off towards Boo Cow, the open air beer bars seem like they also will try as well. From Boo Cow took and 10 baht bus all the way to the temple near Walking Street and Second, and then I made a quick dash into Walking Street via Soi 15 where Sapphire is. Looked dead besides Doll House where there were some people. Sensations and Bacarra had doors open, but not sure what's going on there. Moulin Rogue had activity. The rest were closed. There was a Dolls Walking Street that I did not notice before. I just remembered one on Soi 6 and LK. So my bad whoever told me there was a Dolls on WS, and I dissented. Ginza is out of business and so is Ninja on LK. Saw a club called Black Banana with Korean letters in the same spot that has changed names like a million times. Like I said, they are experts at taking investors money. Did a walk back on the beach and ran into Mr. E biking with his Russian girl. Not sure how he does it. I have a hard time not tripping on those uneven bricks on the sidewalk. Let's see what happens tomorrow night. Rain I bet and everything stays closed. LOL.

This was the last one I visited before the lock down. Had Russian girls but a bit of a rip off. I sat with a couple and got them each 1 drink plus a Coke Zero for me. Bill was like 900 baht. There was a show that I wasn't even paying attention to and was asked to tip the dancer because I was the only customer there. The heck?

Looks like quite a few will attempt to open. Especially since overhead is not the same as the GoGo bars on WS. On the eve of the resurrection, I saw plenty of clean ups on Soi 6. Hours will be different (12-12) and of course the NightWish Group will consolidate their bars and staff (see below), just like Monkeypaw suggested. 12 pm is way too early for me to just sit and stare at the empty road and I don't drink. But I guess isipping on some OJ or Diet Coke, is something to do besides sitting in my room or napping. Maybe I'll make a guest appearance as the last Weekend Warrior in Pattaya.
