I think you overestimate the financial stretch most Thai still have.

I rent my condo now at 30% of the original price.

I took 4 businesses over last month, in general:

- I kept the staff: -20% on salary.

- Rent did go down with 40-60%.

Price for the takeover: the debt on those companies.

All are running profitable now.

Okay, it are not adult places.

But I assume it's not that different.

There are some stubborn landlords out there. Initially that may be their response but if the property sits vacant for months on end eventually they will accept the new reality. A lot depends on how they are leveraged and whether cash flow is positive.

Not disputing what you say but the Monday and Tuesday are public holidays (Government offices closed) in lieu of Asarnha Bucha Day and Khao Phansa, as they fall on the weekend, rather than Buddhist holidays. Most times this means bars would be open on 6th and 7th. Just to confuse more there seems to be a bit of doubt about whether Khao Phansa (Buddhist Lent) is on the Sunday or the Monday.

If the holidays follow measures taken in prior years, the additional government holidays will see closure of government offices but no alcohol sales ban."

I like to go to Pattaya for seven days a year.

Would be a big loss without it.

It all depends on which bar you're talking about, and how long the owner of place can take the hit. Many smaller bars are already selling the property for much lesser rent, including few in NPE in BKK. Will it result in paying less to girls? Not necessarily. I am hoping you already had your yearly Pattaya trip this year because with all travel restrictions you might want to skip it this year. Also depends on which country you live in.

I'm always a little ahead of the news and even the mayor. I posted yesterday, this came out this morning. Like I said, expats need expats, tourists traps need tourists and weekend warriors. Thai bars need Thais. So what do you consider yourself? They will try to see what's left here in Pattaya, and take our money even if it's for a few days. So beware of the cover charge if they decide to impose one.

My advice. As for the tourists traps like the GoGo bars, meet the contraction with contraction and consolidate into a few clubs with your best girls. Are you listening Pin Up? Night wish group the same. Biggest club, biggest stage and pack them in plus pay "them" off. Only problem is that 10 day contract and salary. And that many of these girls are making enough off TF with added freedom, they may not come back to fight over a few drinks a night. Who's left that can drop 5-7000 a night for 1 club and 1 girl? I've built of my stable already, and even Monkeypaw won't do that anymore. Maybe I'll drop by with my friends from BKK, Molly and her girls. Do a quick roll call and then do our own party at home. But that's it. We have our own Agogo back in the room. Lights, camera, and action.

Tree Town was sorta raided Monday night by large group of Police and Inspection team. The Tree Town food stalls were fenced off and the Covid check tent was moved to the front by the Cocktail Car, which was closed. The crowd that usually gathered in front was forced onto the street and steps. Beer is served inside but only if you're eating. It didn't look like anyone was arrested. More info at.

I absolutely agree that boasting about getting ANY hooker is ridiculous. But that was not the qualifier that I applied to my example. In fact, it is somewhat the opposite of my point.

Someone suggesting that they or anyone else can get a bottle of Dom Perignon for $5 or free any day and every day as easily as picking up a bottle of Red Mountain or Thunderbird at the nearest liquor store as though all wine is exactly the same is also ridiculous.

If that were the case, no one would ever bother to make, sell or buy anything better than the rock bottom cheapest version of it you can find. I don't think anyone needs to be an accountant to recognize that.

It is not impressive at all. Boasting about getting ANY hooker is ridiculous. They are hookers. If you have money then you can get one. Sometimes no money is even needed to get one.

Once again you guys must be accountants because you are only thinking in numbers and you keep forgetting the personal aspect of them being people. They are not machines that if you don't put at least a certain amount of money in, then they will not dispense the product.

I don't know why you guys only see everything as business, business, and maximizing revenue with these chicks. One person can be fucking her for 3,000 and another person can be fucking her for free. The two can and do coexist you know?

Maybe it is a case of getting what you see. You go around seeing her as a chick that would be normally out of your league so you must give 3000 to her, and I go around seeing her as just a chick.

You two have very different mongering styles. ET is more like a sniper rifle and Mr E is more like a machine gun.

Mr E does not target a specific girl. He targets all girls and some happen to work in go-go bar. He is also patient. From what I read, sometime it takes months for him to get a date to a specific girl. This is how I read it and what he said makes sense.

If you are going to get a specific go-go girl for tonight for the first time, then I think Mr E's method will have very low success rate.
