I was ready to buy an apartment in Pattaya. I had been looking for a few months. Fortunately I did not do it!

She said she would be moving soon to a bigger, cheaper place in the same building because the Chinese owner does not want to come down on the rent. 7000 baht. New place is 5000 baht. She said the other place is on the third floor and has shit for a view though.

We sat there listening to music and drinking and talking. She was teaching me Russian at the same time. After finishing 3/4 of the 70 CL bottle I decided to call it a night on that drinking shit. She wanted to continue on but I told her fuck that. So she decided to go take a shower and I went in to join her. I washed her body and she washed mine.

We went to the bed and started fucking like rabbits. I thought I was in an 80's porno movie. Same BB+CIP that I previously stated to be status quo in these parts. Finished and fell the fuck asleep. That could not be the case as many reports here that I have seen of guys paying 1500 baht for a taxi. There are literally thousands of people coming out after me to get a taxi. Why not just wait for one of them to get 1500 from? Surely you do not believe they are in some sort of predicament that does not allow them to be able to wait 5 more minutes until someone comes out and falls for 600 more baht that I am willing to pay. Or it possibly could be the case that I keep paying 900 baht for taxi rides that are greatly inferior to the 1500 baht taxi rides others are paying for?

There is absolutely nothing that says why pussy here should rent for 2500 baht. It is an arbitrary number pulled out of somebody's ass that many people decided to go along with. Why stop there? Why should it not be 4000 or 5000?

The Beach side is closed for loitering and hanging out. You can still walk and run, but no standing around. They say it's to contain spread of CVD-19. But that's for dumbasses to believe. Smart people know that less customers, less business, less money, means no government kick backs and means you don't get to use their property for your leisure. And that means the beach. This is why Thailand should have kept ALL their tourists in Thailand and all costs or no costs. Let's see what they do and can they figure this out. No tourists, means no revenue, no way to pay overhead. The bar owners are the one who lobbied the government and police to shut them down. It had nothing to do with COVID-19. It's called shift the blame game so our employees don't get mad at us. How do I know? Some restrictions and businesses have been lifted, but yet many places are still closed. Simple answer no costumers means no need to open. You are in Pattaya, with all these STD clinics. You think that people's health has always been the government's #1 priority? The rule that governs is that if "it makes money and the government gets it cut, they will overlook everything else. " Same with tobacco, weed, liquor, sex, and fast food. So imagine Pattaya as your little own country. How do you fix this? I've got an answer: This is a good time to get in with the Mafias of the world. I suppose that is the basic assumption that motivates Price Shaming. Not that you were doing that. You weren't. However, 100s of posts by visitors and expats alike on these threads regularly contradict that premise. Sometimes by the Price Shamers themselves.

If that premise were true, it would not be possible, much less easy, for Mr. E to have ever scored a girl for 500 baht that once recently and likely several times had been paid 2,500 baht and/or for me to have ever scored a girl for 2,000 baht who once recently and likely many times had been paid 5,000 baht, each for the same amount of time and service.

Yet I can assure you I have done that and have no doubt Mr. E has as well. And I'm talking about many situations where the deal was struck before the girl knew I lived here or had ever seen or met me before. So the local resident expat vs weekend millionaire issue is not the deciding factor.

Which is why my opinion has always been that over payers are not "the enemy" when it comes to lowering Value For Money in a P4P destination or venue (at least, in Thailand) as much as low demand customers are.

You're completely missing one thing. That people who can pay market price also usually treat girl well. All the girls I have asked this, very few mongers actually treat girls badly.
