Although this was posted on the 13th, of April I've seen it about a month ago it was posted on another website tough to be sure since I can make out the Condo, but the one I saw was also posted on that brown brick wall. There were some circumstances as to why they closed the Condo and quarantine the majority of the residents.

    Price of Tea in China

I did report on this chick already, but I met her a couple of weeks ago and we hit it off. She said she used to sell wine at Big C. Non-pro, stayed with me the first night. We watched a few movies and ate and enjoyed each other. The next day when she left, she had left her jacket in my room. She went to Rayong to work a job for a few days. Her sister came from Buriram to pick her up to move back home because of the job situation in Pattaya.

She never came back to pick up her jacket, but this morning I had a message from her that said she was in town. I told her to swing by and get her jacket then. She said she would come after her 2 pm dentist appointment.

She got here and told me that her, her sister, sister's boyfriend, and cousin drove down from Kanchanaburi in the middle of the night to pick up her motorbike. It is not even 4 pm and they are already headed back. She showed me scars on the inside of her forearms. She said they are all working there packing up durian and that is what it does in the process. I asked her how much she is making and she said 400 baht per day. Yesterday they started at 2 pm and finished at 1 am, at which time they made the drive.

I am saying this to say that if there are people driving all over this country in hopes of making only 400 baht per day then you know it is a damn shame the prices some of you guys are led to believe you need to be paying for P4P.

If asking prices were an indication of anything, then this guy that was asked 5,000 baht for ST should have been the happiest camper in Thailand.

Meanwhile, in 15 years the most I have ever given is 2 chicks 1500 for LT. I mostly pay 1000 - 1200 max for LT and 9.9 times out of 10 receive stellar GFE service. If a chick asked me for 1000 baht for ST, I would laugh in her damn face and wish her luck. I don't understand how you guys that like to pay so much and show these lists of requirements are coming up with such horrible service, yet I am giving them 1000 baht for all night and not requiring anything and it is no holes barred (pun intended).

Worst part, she didn't even try, just stood up and asked for money. Now I didn't come and she was as interesting as like a tree. I gave her 2000 b. And as expected she started acting like she should be getting full amount. and complete inability to give a BBBJ for more than 30 seconds, which forced me give her less.

    Low asking price

This girl I met on Soi Bukao was asking only 1000 baht. In the future I will eliminate any girl who doesn't price herself at 1200 baht at least.

She was a complete disaster. Beach road type. Raising issues with anything I wanted to do or any position. Insisting I had not showered while I was trying to make clear to her I had had all the time to shower while she had unduly kept me waiting. Pig-headed, antagonizing, and not even a hot body to show for it.

You could stumble upon girls of similarly average looks at soi 6 too but soi 6 girls could not last with such poor service. That's the difference with street and TF girls. Street and online girls can stay in business even if they are non-performers.

Hey. At least we are not in the Philippines or Colombia. You can not even go outside in certain places there if it is not your day. And I did report the other day a chick that stays on Thappraya saying they can not receive visitors at her place.

Not sure how life is untenable for us. I have heard nothing in the complaint department from any of my friends. It is what it is.

Maybe it is not doing what it takes. All I know is that the sickness and death rates are a damn sight better here and in the countries that are locking shit down than they are in the West.

It's not that bad in the west.

I'm in the west now and I can assure you that people are not going around like a normal day. Sure, there are certain people who ignore proper social distancing guidelines, but most are staying separated. Most people are staying isolated at home and only go out tor necessities or to work in the supply chain of necessities. Insufficient masks are available, so the west is using homemade masks which only limit how far their viruses will spew beyond their faces. We are seeing more and more people wearing some sort of mask, but it is still far from 100%.

I agree that the west has not imposed the Wuhan like restrictions, perhaps that will eventually prove to be necessary.

My comments about the west are based on my personal observations plus almost daily conversations with friends in USA, England, and Italy.

Light at the end of the tunnel?

There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel.

    https://thepattayanews.com/2020/04/1...es-to-improve/

Author clarifies in the comments "everything will reopen this day including parks beaches etc. " if the situation does not worsen.

Nothing about the checkpoints, but these are City Hall rather Provincial Governor. They may view them as a defence against in influx from worse hit provinces, or they may have finished the testing of the "at risk group" in the city centre and open them up again. Who knows?

    XXL,

With almost all the increases in the restrictions they have come about because a small but persistent group (farang, snowbird and Thai) push the boundaries. People start using restaurants as de facto bars after the bar closure, they shut the restaurants for dine-in. People ignore social distancing at the beach, they shut the beach. People carry on gathering in groups despite previous restrictions, they order the curfew.

It is this group of selfish sociopaths that you should be railing against.

One of their characteristics may well be the view that it is "their risk". If only that were true. It is the risk of everyone who they come into contact with, directly or indirectly.

    Buakhao Hotspot

Since the police cleared the beach, it seems the new spot to gather, eat, mingle, and find sex is near Tree Town on Soi Buakhao near McDonalds. Make sure you get yourself a portable chair or else sit on that nasty ground. Got a ST offer of 1500 baht from one of the two girls (she had fake tits) working a juice and smoothly stand in Tree Town towards the back. Instead grabbed a different gem for 1000 tipped 500, and afterwards convinced her to apply her trade on TF so she can better screen her choices.

Yesterday I was chatting to a friend that was traveling from Vancouver Canada to Atlanta (to care for her sick daughter) while she was on the plane. I was telling her about the police making people leave the beach here. She said people in Vancouver would riot if they were told they could not exercise. She also said there were many people, crewmembers included, on the plane not wearing a mask. Even she did not have one on and was not really worried until I said something about it.

Now I understand why the numbers are so high in the West. They canceled school and games, but it seems they are going around like a normal day in every other area. Then people keep asking me when I think they will be able to travel to such and such. Also people on ISG planning their next mongering trip like they will be able to go somewhere next week or even next month. I am like are you aware of what is going on in the world right now? But evidently they do not fully realize it because they are still riding on the democracy and freedom that you mentioned.

It is funny how that in this small place of Pattaya in a third world country I am able to grasp the magnitude of this thing partly because I see the locals around me doing what it takes. Sure they have a few bad apples violating curfew and gathering in groups here, but for the most part people are doing what they are supposed to be doing. While where I am from people are going about as if there is only a minor inconvenience now but things will automatically return to normal in a couple of days. Meanwhile the disease is still spreading like wildfire over there dwarfing the numbers of here and other places that have taken it seriously and made a call to action. I am all for freedom, but DAMN.

Don't be too hard on people or yourself we are all human. I kind of agree at the same time disagree because things are all linked together whether we like it or not. It isn't about aging pensioners because I'm one of them and vulnerable to the virus am I scared terrified not sure maybe I'm just numb from living here each day my life is at risk putting in the miles I do on my bike? Just my opinion like yours we are all linked together in some ways the problem is we think with all the freedom we have in the West at times having too much democracy and freedom " It's our risk to take " is why nothing gets done?

Is there a real answer a compromise that can be reached?

I will just mention the checkpoint at the top of Pattaya Klang and Sukhumvit, forgot who ask about Welcome Town, if one is coming from inside they shouldn't have a problem getting up to it. It is people like me from the Darkside who will have a problem getting across since I have no real business like working. But I do like going into Town to eat even if it is takeout I like the variety. But if I need to get to Tequila Reef, I will just park my bike just off Sukhumvit and cross the bridge and if block off I
can easily just run across Sukhumvit Welcome Town is just behind Index.

I'm a bit torn about all this stuff today since everything is so inconsistent in application. The Virus seems to be a case of life and death, yet there are days they check your temperature and then the next no one is around or even care. I went to a number of DIY stores to try to pick up a sink fixture yet the ones in town are all closed now but the two over here on the Darkside are opened. What is really considered Essentials? Places like DIY aren't open but HomePro all opened selling mops, broom, garbage cans which one can't at Big see or Lotus..
