While watching YT videos (yes my couch is as close as I've came to Thailand) more girls seem to be asking for 700ST. I could be wrong but I think the price is sliding down.

How old are the videos you're watching? Sometimes the date the video is posted is a fair bit later than the date it was created.

As far as I know, 700 THB is the baseline going rate on Beach Road, it has been for a few years. Up until 2015 or so the going rate was 500 THB, but then jumped to 700. Some girls might ask for more (especially if busy), but it's OK to offer 700 and see if they accept, most will. In any case, on Beach Road, dreadful quality (I'm not too picky, but it really is dire) is more of a problem than price. I haven't been to Beach Road in a few months, so I'm not 100% sure, but things change slowly there.

I find that offering a price works much better than asking, as long as you know the going rate. Most girls feel better if I offer 700 and settle on 700-800, rather than if I talk her down from 1000. And if she throws out some ridiculous number like 1500-2000, the game is over before it started, even if we could have agreed.

As for other venues, it's highly unlikely prices would go down, they never do. The best you can hope for is price staying the same for a while, and girls readily accepting the lower end of the going rate range, rather pushing for more.

I would suggest try Vietnam and Cambodia. They have not overrun by Indian tourists yet, so you will fine less bias.

You misunderstood what I wrote. I said go to other countries where girls/bars are more welcoming to Indian men than Thailand. For SEA I would say that applies to almost all countries except Japan, South Korea, and possibly Hong Kong.

Never been but aren't there Indian bars with Thai girls who prefer Indian men on Walking Street? All soapies in Pattaya welcome Indian men. Girls must go for the session. If they don't I believe the girl needs to pay the soapie's cut back for a lost session.

Go to countries that have not been over run with Indian tourist and you will be very welcomed (short term anyhow).

There are plenty of Thai and African women in India plying their trade. Most of the nicer spas all have Thai women. Go figure.

Personally if I were Indian I would not be going to Thailand to hobby. There is clear racism against Indian men in many Thailand bars. Go to other countries where Indian men are more welcome by the girls and the bars.

I've noticed a small drop in prices on because road SW's. While watching YT videos (yes my couch is as close as I've came to Thailand) more girls seem to be asking for 700ST. I don't think the prices are unfair but I live in Vegas and I think after flight and everything it's not far off from prices here for somethings. Anyway I would enjoy some pro thoughts on this.

I used to get those offers but not so far this trip but I'm not out at 3 am either. I've just been paying the 1 k baht nothing over that has been quoted on beach Road. My one shot at soi 6 was 300 baht higher the girl wanted 1300 and 300 for room. She was very pretty younger girl also. I'm from Vegas I think prices have nose dived there I can get good quality easily petite black girls and some white at 120-140 us and 80-100 with a little luck.

If you want cheaper options, consider Angeles City.

What you save in AC on barfines is easily wasted on equivalent standard hotel accommodation you can get in Thailand. Sort of breaks even in the long run.

New Years week is Pattaya busiest time so it's all hands on deck. I was talking with Laos girl yesterday who was just here for two weeks.

Agree. But even at Songkran bargirls still stay in Pattaya. NYE in Pattaya is chaotic.

FYI, there are Indian Discos on WS. Quite a few actually, and just as packed as the other discos.

(I know the best thing is to try and report but I am planning a trip from Tokyo my location and I want to make the best of it.

Currently deciding between Thailand Pattaya and Indonesia Jakarta).

Jakarta hands down over Thailand. Jakarta is not nearly as fun but there are nice looking girls for 800 baht per hour at the point and shoot bars. Taxis also much cheaper than the scammers in Pattaya. Use Bluebird taxis only or Grab in Jakarta.

I'm guessing you are Japanese since you're from Tokyo. If so, go to Bangkok instead and go to Thermae and Thaniya Road. Thermae will cost 2500 baht per hour.

If you're Japanese or Korean, you are the most welcome person by girls in all bars in Thailand. However, if you are a Cheap Charlie, you won't have fun in Thailand.

First time around I liked this place. But second and third time, I hated it.

Service is so mechanical. Their b2 b feels like a robot is sliding on you with programmed moves.

Why I tell guys try a soapie only once. It's kind of fun the first time. Every single time after the first time will not be enjoyable unless you just see a hot girl and want to have sex with her. Never expect great service in a soapie.

Are the gogos in LK metro area any different than walking street?

One thing that may work is to try entering a bar with an Asian guy or a decently dressed Farang. You will likely get in to any gogo or bar. Offer a guy to pay for his first drink. I was told by an Indian friend he got the Members Only line at a certain gogo bar. I told him that's crap so I went down to meet him. Since he was with me the security guy asked if my Indian friend was with me and I said yes. There was no problem for my Indian friend entering that night or future nights when he was alone.

LK Metro is much more laid back than Walking Street akin to Patpong vs. Soi Cowboy / Nana. However, you will still run into the Members Only or Private Party lines depending on which bar.
