Pattaya, day 1.

For those that have visited during the time: how is pattaya the week of Christmas? Have booked 23-27 (been many times before but only between March-October) December. Hotel price wasnt bad at all but how's the crowd during that week? Extreme or do-able? Or does it more so increase after the week of Christmas? Thanks.

Doable pretty busy. New years Eve is worst make sure you have hotels booked that week.

I spoke to the manager of Bacarra last night and he confirmed the end of the month. I like the Happy Group but this year when they didn't have their annual Songkran event for all their clubs I knew they were hurting a bit. This event is put on for all their staff and special invitees and it is huge with a live band and prizes are given out all night.

It is a well-run operation but made a few mistakes in the last few years in my opinion and that was closing Beach and moving it right next door to Happy building a custom space in an impossible configuration then within a year doing another renovation and just last year closing more renovation combining it with Happy. During that period they also did a renovation on Peppermint, Bacarra and made an addition of the Sake Bar in front of the Happy entrance walkway. I also believe the ST room Oasis belongs to them too. I give them credit for trying to keep things fresh.

Downsizing might be the best thing for them usually during the renovation they move girls to their other clubs so maybe someone favority girl will end up at Bacarra or Happy. I know many of the girls enjoy working for the Happy Group.
