For those that have visited during the time: how is pattaya the week of Christmas? Have booked 23-27 (been many times before but only between March-October) December. Hotel price wasnt bad at all but how's the crowd during that week? Extreme or do-able? Or does it more so increase after the week of Christmas? Thanks.

I thinking of going around that time my self.

There is a new club? In the LK Metro called " Friends " the old Office Go Go location. I went by Monday thinking it was going to be another GoGo, but it is an open-air club with pool tables and a few a platform pole dancing. There were a number of Agency / Coyota / Model girls sitting in the front for eye candy I went up to one of them for conversation indicated to me that the owners trying to be like a smaller version of I-Bar?

Stopped at the Naughty Club last night on my way back to my hotel. Five or six younger thin girls out front with at least as many inside. Bought a beer and lady drink and inquired about in site prices. 350 bar fine with 1000 for full service. Was quoted 1000 bar fine until 2:00 am then drops to 500,1500ST and 2000 LT. Decided to go next door to 555 and save 50 bath on the bar fine. The room upstairs is large with king size bed and couch.

Location is good for me less than a block from the Centra where I am staying.

Morning gentlemen,

Thought I share an experience from my recent trip.

I previously met a good looking 22 year old girl named Joy at a bar on Soi Whitehouse in Jomtien (think the bar was named Fungo or Fungos) so I wanted to see her again and made contact on WhatsApp.

Turns out she is no longer working at the bar because now have a boyfriend, probably farang.

But she said she could meet at ST hotel and that's fine with me.

I made a booking at Full Love In in Pattaya at 19:00.

Of course she arrived a little late as all Thai girls do but no problem for me.

Very casually dressed, a little too much makeup but beautiful nevertheless.

Gained a few pounds since I saw her last and she kept saying she needs to start exercise so I thought I let her do all the work.

Last time I was with her she was ok in bed, not great but ok.

This time however she turned in to a dead fish.

Only reason I can think of is that she felt somewhat guilty towards her boyfriend, I am sure she do this secretly to make a little more money.

Anyhow, 2500 baht less in my pocket and an empty sack I was satisfied.

Will I repeat again? No.

There are about 50.000 other girls in the area nearby so no repeat.

Peppermint has seemed busy to me compared to a lot of other gogos on most of my visits. I'm surprised its closing. Tequila Reef is my favorite Pattaya restaurant, I'm quite surprised they're leaving Soi 7. Maybe the landlord jacked up the rent. The Pattaya Klang location will not be that easy to get to. Hopefully baht buses run along Pattaya Klang.

When it comes to Peppermint that is a rumor from a girl I've known for a long time that works a Bacarra. Been busy so haven't had time to go by and speak to the manager.

When it comes to Tequila Reef been there over 20 years but the move is based solely on rent! I didn't get into details about how much they were paying but I do know the owner of the land structure is the same people who own the majority of the land for the BeerBars. For one of those shacks, the rent is something like 20,000 baht a month and that doesn't include the electric and water markup the owner charges. Top that off the owner want "key money" each year just for the privilege of renting.

Like last night the BB many are empty as if barely hanging on so I guess the owners decided to increase the rent to make up for the loses? I didn't want to argue with the staff but I know the location Welcome Town very well although there are Songthaw running up to Pattaya Klang you have to transfer to get there.

And majority of the business there close by 7 pm? Eating at the Reef thru the years it seems majority of the business comes from walk-in people who are on holiday staying nearby hotels?

Rent is lower I'm sure and the new location will be a must smaller place majority of their business will come from regulars during the day because on my way home last night to the Darkside I pull into Welcome Town the place was dark with only one place open. I also noticed the "Loaf" which use to be near the corner of Soi Lengkee and Baukhao has move inside the Welcome Town and it was closed at night. Well good luck to the owner.

OMG they're going to ruin Lighthouse bringing in those ugly girls from Dog House. Lighthouse was one of my secret gem bars.

Odd in some of the bar closures. Peppermint and crazy house were fairly busy in comparison to many of the walking street gogo bars.

I leave for a few months and all hell breaks loose! My baht surely is missed by these gogo bars.

Pimp, palace is notoriously slow on Sunday nights and most top girls take Sundays and possibly Mondays off.

I went to the Palace last night. It has dropped a lot compared to 6 months ago when I considered him one of the 3 best gogos in Pattaya. Now there are only half of the girls and half of the clients left. The reception is unpleasant.

I wish Palace go-go had half the clients. Since it's a small bar, it's always packed, even on this past Sunday and Monday (after 9 pm). I don't like this bar because I'm normally squished between 2 guys.

- I was at Pin Up go-go this Monday at 12:15 am. It was pretty packed. The non-model barfine was 1000. She wanted 3000 short time and 5000 long time. Many good looking girls. Wondering if there were a few stunners earlier, girls I virtually never barfine since they don't give PSE (usually no long time BBBJ, no CIM, no rimming).

- A lot of Indians on the street, but virtually none at the popular bars. At the Windmill, when 2 Indian types attempted to enter, the door guy put up a sign that said something like, 200 baht cover which includes 1 drink. Those 2 guys left. Saw this happen at 3 other bars. Each time, the guys never paid. I chuckle when that happens, but of course I don't like it when it happens to me (At Bangkok's RCA 2 when only foreigners are charged a cover charge or in other countries when I'm denied entry because of my age).

I believe Wildcats is closed or going to close! Crazy House has been closed for a few months now all the staff moved to Lighthouse which opened back up. It is also rumored that Peppermint will be closing soon.

Things are going very fast in Pattaya.

I still had to pay for this order while I left without consuming it.

In short to flee.

Prefer safe values; Baccarat, Widmill, Sapphyr, Pin Up (lots of girls now), Farenheit who is well put together (lots of beautiful girls and great atmosphere).

Best Gogo seems to be Kink on LK metro or Windmill off Walking Street.

Those bars are on my list of top ten go-go's. But, obviously, the criteria is "most fun" and "hands-on". Kink has a good lesbian show. It's neat where the stage comes down to the first floor (every hour, on the hour). On the second floor, it's the normal "fun" where you can fondle and lick as much as you want for lady's drinks.

I was at Windmill last night. Way too crowded to enjoy.

Another fun go-go bar is Dollhouse and the upstairs XXX lounge. That place got more happening. Girls are decent. Better than Windmill, IMO.

The go-go across Dollhouse changed owners / name / layout. Beaver go-go. Same owner as Dollhouse and Electric Blue. Beaver not as packed when it was Baby Dolls.

- Talent at Palace go-go was very good last night. Is that still the best bars for looks? Talent at Tantra go-go was also good.

- Talent at Soi 6 was disappointing for my taste for the last few days. IMO, one of the best ones on Soi 6 was Wha Wha at Mod's Bar. Decent face with a good 19 year old body. 400 bar fine, 1000 tip for BBBJ and CIM, no rimming, no lesbian show. BJ was decent, not great. She would be below average at Palace.
