In Pattaya, I was paying 500 baht on Beach Road until 2014 or so, then it went up to 700. I could find 500 in 2018, but the quality on Beach Road took such a nosedive that these days I get severely depressed from just walking around, most of the women are so horrible I wouldn't do them for free (and I'm NOT especially picky).

I find the quality of girls in Pattaya to be depressing relative to Bangkok.

About when did 500 baht girls end for you in Bangkok? For many years, I used to get freelancers on Sukhumvit for 1000 baht, but I would ask for 2 shots, and most would be happy with that (I found that easier and more pleasant than pushing down on price). Stopped around 2013, not so much because nobody was taking 1000 any more, but because there were very few decent streetwalkers left. That scene started drying up noticeably around 2010 or so, and asking prices started going up too.

The one on North Pattaya, at the roundabout, was one of the best places to eat in Pattaya. It was a lot better than the one in front of Mike, cheap clean and tasty basic Thai food was served there.

Didn't go there since a few years but I think it's probably not there anymore, the place being taken by Terminal 21.

So that means you spend half on the food and drinks and half on the girl. Ha ha. The balance is all wrong for me. I don't eat in restaurants that much. Mainly eat in my room, that cuts price right back and can be superior food health wise too.

What a girls costs me could be ten times my food costs easily, (on average). In Bangkok I can't get a quality girl for 1 K. That is not possible. In my Soi 4 street girl costs me more than that.

For breakfast I prefer to go to a buffet, at Lek Hotel for example. Just brown bread with jam and coffee. No fried eggs, bacon, sausages, beans in tomato sauce or any other 'weird' stuff like rice soup (?) or baked potatoes for me in the morning.
Only 120 Baht if you buy 10 coupons at once. A single coupon is 150 Baht.

For lunch I usually go to a place like Took Lae Dee in the basement of the Royal Garden mall, or some other cheap Thai restaurant, where I spend around 200-250 Baht.

For dinner I go to places like Beer Garden or Hops Brew House for example and spend about 400 Baht.

In between I usually have two times coffee at a Starbucks and some snacks (like chocolate) and water. Total cost maybe 300-350 Baht on average per day.

One ST a day is enough for me, for 1000 Baht, usually with a girl I find online or in the streets.

I don't go out every evening but when I do I usually just enjoy the eye candy in a gogo over a beer. Sometimes I buy a girl a few drinks but I don't do that very often anymore.

So all in all about 2000 Baht a day (when I don't go out in the evening).

I don't quite get the conversation about how much to spend in a day. Surely it's the old maxim you cut your coat according to your cloth.

I'm fortunate not to have to budget but if I did sure I'd try to live within that budget by getting the best deal on my needs and it seems some members do just that and have a good time doing it.

That said I do believe there is a distinct difference in the quality of your lifestyle when money is not the key determinant on what to eat and where to chase the ladies. Agreed it's not completely accurate to say you get what you pay for in the P4P world or on what you eat but there is a correlation. The correlation is more direct and obvious in the accommodation you live in.

For me it's mostly that having money while never being profligate gives you options and choices. Being honest I would find it difficult to get by on 50 bucks if I am out and about on the town, 300 is closer to the mark.

But who knows if the markets crash that could be me behind you at the noodle stand.

While this can be a rule of thumb, do not expect every girl in a beer bar to agree for LT with 1000 baht. The "diamonds in the rough" are likely to cost more.

I usually go to a FS massage place during daytime. It costs about 2600 baht to 2900 baht plus tip.

I will get a girl for night time which will cost at least 3000 baht not counting BF.

For food, I often just snack all day when I have a chance. After massage, I snack at various food stands on my way back to the Hotel on foot, fried chicken, Hainan chicken rice, noodle, grill food, juice, and coconut juice, pretty easy to spend 200 baht. I avoid western food here. If I know a good restaurant, I will go regardless the cost. I also know I am happy to just eat cheap Thai food so food is a minor cost for me.

I have at least one drink in the hotel daily on average. In the afternoon, I like to sit by the pool and get a cocktail or Whiskey to chill for an hour. When I am bored or have nothing to do, I may go to the hotel bar to get a drink too. A drink is about 280 baht to 370 baht.

These are the minimum daily fixed cost. I go out most nights, and I think it is not too difficult to spend 1000 baht, so 300 USD a day is about right for me.

Sailor Bar on Soi 8 used to do a real cheap full English breakfast at 60 b. Is that still the price?

In my case, when I get up in the morning, I need my cappuccino and pastry, typically around 300 bahts. Then, I go down to the beach, get a chair, order a coconut and a bottle of water. After 2 to 3 hours, I leave the area, cost around 200/300 bahts.

I may spend significant money on a girl (max of one per day) but keep my average food and accommodation costs right down these days. Yesterday B/F was essentially free, I made the coffee myself (filter coffee) and cooked the oats in Hotel Microwave. Lunch was leftovers of a stir fry and a Phat Thai from previous evening (probably about 60 Baht out of original price). Dinner was a good burger (not Maccas) 140 Baht and Mango and Sticky Rice was 80 Baht. Maybe there was an Icecream. All up 300+ Baht.

Some days spoil myself and eat western food at the sports bar. Sunday roast was only 200 Baht (not including drinks). I usually spend more than that. Other days when going healthy can get a serve of something mainly vegetables, stir fry or soup, for 30 or 40 Baht at the market. Even a piece of BBQed chicken can be less than 100 Baht (if don't eat too much) or a baked fish less than 200 Baht. There are plenty of good priced options without going to junk food places.

I never go into KFC or Maccas, or anything like that, never eat French fries, because largely on a low Carbs diet. It is not essential to have 3 meals a day, some days only 2, and my be / F is small. That is due to keeping relatively trim and healthy.

In the province its almost all home cooked food, but I don't count that.

I agree with BB, that is easy to drop a lot of money once you start doing go go bars. I am therefore careful never to entertain a girl unless I really like her or am friends already. Ignoring approaching girls is important to control the spend. So I can survey a go go bar for the price of one single drink, providing I have no inclination to stay. I don't have the need to be groping girls in every bar.

Today there maybe no girl. If I don't get what I want, I can certainly go without. Will see if a regular is available.

My main point really, was that one can keep down food and accommodation costs, if one chooses. Then most money of a budget is available for mongering, however the punter sees fit.
I can never keep girl spending anywhere near as low as Mr. E, if doing a girl daily. I might be in the wrong place for doing so.

Many mongers on this forum will be fat because they eat too much junk (we probably all eat some junk), or drink too much beer. Think about looking after your health guys, and consider how much more enjoyable sex can be with 10 Kilos dropped. I dropped 10 Kilos (and am still there at 10 Kilos less).

That blows the hell out of the 1500 baht that I spend! Chick that works at Simon Bar was off and got here last night at 10 pm. It is now 8 am and she is still in my bed. 1000 baht. I ate 3 times (breakfast at Thips 199, lunch at KFC 119, ribs and 1/2 chicken for dinner at the market 155) yesterday and spent 473 baht. I put gas in my motorbike 120 baht. I bought Schweppes Manao at a gentlemen's club while shooting pool 75 baht plus 25 baht tip. 1,693 baht spent yesterday.
