Ok, so it is that time of the year ago. Prices keep going up, addresses change and some places simply fade away. So in January I believe an update is due!

If anyone has any suggestions or has picked up any mistakes in the previous report please PM (Private message) me.

I just want to thank Bubba Boy and Sperto for their knowledge and playbook. I was in Rio last weekend (solo) and my wingman couldn't make it down so I had to make the trip solo for a couple of days. I decided to print out the BB guide and read once I got to my apartment in Copa. I unpacked, went for a misto quinche and cafe con leite and then got ready for the subway trip from Ipanema to Uraguay station. The subway worked like a charm and I navigated the cetro part (thanks to Bubba boy) with no problems at all. I also appreciated the times at which different termas offer specials. I arrived at 4 x 4 around 3:30 and robed up and grabbed a frosty beverage. I have only been to 4 x 4 about 10 times but I love the prices and the selection of women there. Had a couple of beers and relaxed as a couple of garotas passed by and kissed and chatted. Then as it started to get around 4:30, I thought it was time to make a move to save the entrance fee (yeah I'm a cheap bastard, but with the Rio prices, you have to take advantage).

Then came Cintia. I saw another monger post some pics, looks like the same outfit so it could have been the same day I was there. She stuck her tongue down my throat and then we proceeded to just make out until the little general told me it was time to rock and roll.

She told me she was 30 and I didn't believe it but guys, if you get a chance, you need to sample these goods. She was nothing short of awesome! After the session, I hung out at the bar until around 8 and then took a taxi back to the apartment.

Saturday decided to try out Monte Carlo after a nice day at the beach and tiki huts. Got in there around 6:30 and there was about 15-20 girls and one other guy. Talk about getting a lot of attention. Holy shit, I was having to push them away. Anyway, had a couple of beers and then another couple mongers joined the party and it started to liven up. I ended up talking with another guy at the bar for a while and he was pointing out some of his favorites and then a newbie came up and started chatting and rubbing on me. She was new, only been ther for a couple days (yeah, I know, they all say that) but she was serious. When I told her lets go, she took me upstairs and said, what do we do next? I said tell them 40 mins and get us a room? Hello! I guess the OJT wasn't part of the hiring process. Anyway, she came out in like 30 seconds (that was a first as well) and we went to the room and had a blast. She told me that it was her second day and I was her first date. Ok, whatever. Then after the great sex and everything, we were just sitting there talking and the phone never rang. She finally said how long are we in here for? I said 40 minutes, didn't you tell them that? She said she told them she needed a room and that was it. Ok. Time to dress and get out. All in all was a good experience and the manager totally understood and only charged me for the 40 mins.

Sunday was tired and needed a little rest after walking all of leme, copa, ipa and leblon. But then I thought, last day here, got to go to one more robe club. After all the recent talk of Luomo, decided to make a last minute quick run to Solarium. I got there around 4 and there were two girls in the boate and one other guy. I had a couple of beers, then a couple of other hot girls came in and I had to jump on one just out of principle. Can't remember her name but she was great!

That was all for that trip. It was a great trip and I really appreciate BB's guide and stories. Thanks again!

I get a lot of private messages, often seeking quite detailed info. I am sorry but I don't have the time to answer them. If I did answer all of them I would be working like 2 hours a day doing the function of a tour guide, which I am not. Hence I apologize for not replying to Private Messages. The one exception is where there is a question from a senior member that has a lot of posts under their belt, always willing to help those that make an effort to share info.

Not sure if this has already been pointed out but in guide 3 pg. 10 you have the phrase "do you know" mis-translated. It should be "você sabe".

Kilograma is now Frontera. Popular place with the semi-affluent locals. Kilo and all you can eat pizza. Several locations around Rio.

Monchique is a get what you pay for place. The Rodizio is not worth the money. The meat selection is limited and of poor quality. Check out the kilo offerings and if you see some things you like, stay and eat.

Nearby is 686 (NS & Santa Clara). A good place but as Bubba says R$20 is about the minimum these days.

Monchique is one of the worst places in Copa. Would not recommend it to anybody.

Kilograma closed down like 2 years ago.

R$9. R$ 10 will not get you fed at any Kilo place now. Think R$ 15. R$ 20 as a minimum.

There are tons of rental places in Copacabana, the one you listed is nothing special.

Before you post you need to have better more up to date info otherwise your posts will not garner positive responses.

The place that I mentioned isn't anything special but that wasn't my point. Just thought it deserved to be mentioned among the good apartment rental joints. But it's your guide. Your call.
