All of my trips to Rio, and I have never been to VM. Every time I see pictures from there I think "flithy". Just can't get myself to pull thee trigger and do it. I did say that I would at least go to Mosaico the next time. But, given your description, I don't know! Eeeww, eewwww, eeewwwwww!

For me 95% of the fun of going to VM is the people watching. It's like a freaking human zoo minus the cages! IMHO!

Ditto, actually I have visited VM a number of times but never actually sessional with any of them. I was content to have a beer, a seat on the porch of one of the bars and watch the show. I can't tell you how many times' I've seen the same girl in VM during the day and then see her all dressed up in Help that night for four times the price. Copa lost its appeal for me when TA and Help shut down, Balcony just didn't do it for me.

This is my first post so bare with me. I had a trip planned to visit Rio 3/26 - 4/3 and I just heard about the lockdown and how restaurants will be closing at 5 and clubs are closed indefinitely. Is it still worth going on this trip or should I start looking for other places to visit. If so what places are good to visit for not only mongering purposes but also for sightseeing.

Monday night we left 4 X4 and took Uber to Vila Mimosa. I did not know an address, so I just put in Mosaico. 9. 88 reais. I had the driver let us out right at the bridge so my brother could experience the walk and peee on the wall for initiation. There was a parking lot open for business and my brother asked who the hell would be parking there; there is nothing around here. Beats the hell out of me. We turned the corner and I took one last picture.

The place was an old shell of itself. Hardly any chicks and the smell has gotten really worse. In the usual spots I saw definitely 1 and maybe another chick that I would fuck. I asked one chick the price and she said 65 reais.

We walked out of that alley and went across the street looking. Found a new gem of a place that I have not seen before. Silvia 52! This is the best spot in VM. They have cut 55 gallon barrels and made them into chairs. They have big screen TVs and the place is very clean. We went in and ordered 2 caipirinhas. 10 reais each. 3 chicks that were my speed in this place and a couple of others that maybe you guys would like. I asked the best one how much and she said 85 reais for 30 minutes. Of course I talked shit about the price and she said it is not her price, but the price of the bar. I told her she was the best looking thing in VM so she deserves it. I told my brother the prices used to run 1 real per minute in VM. He saw her tan lines and asked if they all go to the beach to get those. Good question. In 20 years I have never thought to ask. So I asked her. She said she lays out on the roof of the building she lives in in Pena to get the tan.

We left there and I saw a banner advertising a salon. Hold up. I recognize the name, but there was a mat covering up the picture. But the hair was still showing. I showed my brother a picture is my phone and told him I thought it was this chick from years ago. That is the only time I had heard a name as such. I approached a guy and asked him about the salon. He said he had know idea, but maybe it is upstairs. We trekked through the building and up the stairs. It appeared to be an abandoned bar (not really the bar, but the upstairs part where they have all the rooms.) There was a big room with maybe six beds in it and a guy that seemed to be taking a break from work was sitting on the floor. Found the salon and knocked on the door, but nobody answered.

Headed back downstairs and the first person I saw was the chick I thought I knew. She was mopping the floor in a downstairs bar. I took my phone out and showed her the picture and said isn't this you? She denied it. In the picture she was in the hallway of the apartment with her tits out looking at pics on the wall, her and another chick. She said that she does not take pictures like that. I zoomed in on the picture and said are you sure this is not you? She said no. I said this is definitely you. Same color hair and all. I told her it was from probably 15 years ago when we took her and some more girls from Vila Mimosa back to Copacabana for the night for a big orgy. (We gave each of them 100 reais by the way.) She said that she has been married for 13 years now so to keep it on the low. She was surprised that I had a picture from way back then in my phone. But I have a folder of the best times in Rio, so that is one of the pics I happen to have in there. I told her it was nice seeing her and we left.

I asked my brother if he wanted to take the train or bus back to Copacabana. I have only taken the train once so I never remember where it is. We hung a left. Wait a minute, we are about to come out where we came in. I asked a guy that was passing on a bicycle and holding his infant where Sao Cristavao station was. He doubled back to answer me. He said it was back the other way. So we should have made the right. Nevermind. We went to the bus stop and waited for the 455 or 456 back to Copacabana. It was really slow. There was some guy on the ground close to the bus stop. We could not tell if he was alive or dead. We saw like 4 457 buses pass on the median that we could have taken. Oh well. Finally a 455 came.

That's amazing that you bumped into the girl you had an orgy with years ago. Shame you two didn't go for a beer or a conversation. Crazy.

I learned mongering in Rio from all the reports of Sperto and others like you.

I would map out the area around vm, and take buses like the 457 from Copa to Norte Shopping and back during the day, and figure out where VM was.

I would stay in Motel Malaga, which is across the street from aconchega carioca.

The local boards like gparena and forumx were alive with the latest intel, in the spirit of Jorge Amado and his novellas.

I am in the phase of suggesting dinner at places near Norte Shopping with a non pro, and this report and others like it provide motivation and intel.

I popped into this spot for old times sake after checking in with MichaelSamuel at the rooftop pool of the JW Marriott, which is recommended, not so much for the pool, but for the view of Copa, and for the top top tier talent girl sitting on the deck chairs.

This was mid day on Tuesday. My wingman had ended his quick tour of RJ and was headed out to SP.

Walking around Copa is not that bad during the day, and I headed back over to Av Nossa Copa, where I had lived during the worst of the pandemic / endemic last year. I made some local friends, none of whom were around.

I ended up there on the corner with Hotel Vanity, where last I had gotten into an uber with the General three or four months before. Another buddy who is a law firm investigator and services clubs like the Irish bar in Lapa was not at his usual spot, and the bar tender had no reports of him, which was not unexpected as he usually has bar tabs outstanding up and down the street.

So I poked my head into the prive at the above address. Priscilla, a 18 year old, who had been my sometime after lunch quickie (10 minutes for 50 reais) was there, so I decided to give her a poke for old times sake. The shortest session on offer was 20 minutes for 80 reais.

All over Centro yesterday, great time in all the usual spots!

Hit VM at about 9 pm, ran into a known, very chill girl.

Went back to her room with her for an hour just to take a nap actually.

Got recharged.

A little slow at VM but met probably the best looking girl I've ever seen there.
