EC I think what your problem is is that you live there. I have been online dating since there was an online to be on. I have noticed that in general it is easier to get normal chicks online when you don't live in the place you are trying to get them. If you are coming from somewhere else you are seen as mysterious and intriguing, whereas if you are already there you are just status quo.

The first thing I do is click the interest. If I get interest back or if a chick has already clicked interest for me then I write, "Hello. What are you doing?" Then I just let things flow from there. It seems that you like to joke around the same as me. And you have also noticed that a lot of chicks have deep seated issues. The smallest thing or misunderstanding will set them off.

Even still I have no issues being real with them. One of my pet peeves is these chicks saying they are the mother and father for their kid. I tell them that is stupid. You are a female. You can not be a father. You are only a mother. You do not hear men saying dumb shit like they are the father and the mother because the shit is not true. The last chick in Rio that I told that to is all over me now. After that initial chat she stopped talking to me. The next time I spoke to her she said it was obvious that I did not like her. I told her that I like her, but I did not need to bullshit her around in order to fuck her. I am going to tell her the truth as I see it. She is like well if you could talk to me like that I guess the things you say are the truth.

Instantly me and the chick in MT went to whatsapp video call. The shit was fucked up because she had Cuiaba in her profile so I am thinking it would be an easy trip to go see her there. Find out she lives in the middle of bum fuck. She is a school lunch lady. The finest one that I ever saw. There was no way I was getting on a bus for 20 hours so I told her to meet me in Rio. She could not get away until school is out in October. At 500 reais the damn bus ticket to Goiania round trip is just as much as the round trip flight from Goiania at 520 reais. She will pay for the bus and I bought her ticket for the flight.

She is always sending me webcam videos and wanting to do cam sex. I am not really into that though so I always tell her I am too tired.

Agora eu vou me depilar. Você vai querer até passar a língua. Porque eu também vou querer chupar você. Eu quero que você faz assim comigo por trás. Nos fazemos um vídeo juntos.

Rio chick: Tbm Acho que andão faço seu estilo. Voce me criticou um pouquinho them relação a isso lembra. Por mais que a verdade doa e melhor sempre a verdade. Achei isso.

    Voce e muito direto.

There is no secret. It is just like meeting people anywhere else. Trade information then meet up. Some chicks say well I need to get to know you first. I tell them how stupid that sounds. If you met someone at the grocery store and exchanged numbers you would not say let's go home and send each other messages to get to know each other before we go out.

It is best to meet as soon as possible to know if you like each other and have chemistry. A friend of mine in Colombia has a friend who met an Australian guy online. They talked about getting married etc. He finally went to Colombia during his vacation and what he didn't know was that she had a weird walk because of a birth defect. He would not see her the rest of his vacation. All that time and money wasted. That is why I insist on meeting in person ASAP and will have back ups on deck.
I agree with you, and I always am trying to push right away for meeting for a drink*. What I find is a lot of scheduling issues and flakes, even 1-2 hours before appointed times (after hand-holding them via whatsapp for 2-3 days prior to confirm). I also find most of the conversations via Tinder or in-app (Cupid) are just like pulling teeth, or the girls are boring as all fuck. And as mentioned, a lot of resistance from the Niteroi and Zona Norte girls to come to Zona Sul -- and yes, I could go up there, but frankly I don't want to (feels like putting the bucetinha on a pedestal).

What's your success ratio? Is it back to being a numbers game -- write to 50, have 10 reply, and maybe get 1 meet-up in person?

    * Best story: per Tinder, asked a girl if she wanted to get a drink after work during the week. She replied saying "I got laid off from my job. " My reply: "Well, technically ever day is 'after work' now, right?" Her reply: .

    * Second best story: Tinder or Cupid with a girl from Manaus. Sometimes I like to ask provocative things just to see if the girl is any fun, especially if her replies have been somewhat monsyllabic. "So. Is it true everyone who lives in Manaus has a pet jaguar? " Her reply: (indignant, long the lines of) "that's not funny, we're not all savages and natives. " eeee. Someone has issues (might be me).

    Social Sites in Rio

Outside of FuckAfMedDig and Larry David, I'm curious if anyone has had recent success on Tinder or the Cupid sites or similar in Brazil with non-pros-- and if so, how did you do it? I'm talking about ultimately getting girls to meet up for a drink / bite, and taking it from there.

I've had very low success on Tinder in Rio and not been able to get anyone to meet up, as BR girls (esp. Rio) hate to plan and I need to plan during the week due to work. Also having to move thru the banal coversations on the app, then to Whatsapp, etc. Is a pain in the ass. And of course I'm unwilling to travel to Niteroi or far into Zona Norte for a first meet, my perspective is there are better places I know in Ipanema / Botafogo anyway (and easily reached by metro). Then again, I kind of feel going to them on a first meet is way too thirsty. I'm the prize, baby! .

Anyway, looking for solid real info not opinions. If you have had recent success. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post. Thanks.

    -Cartman.

Stay away from Dolce Vita on Avenida Atlantica!

I was in Rio just last week and made the mistake of going to Dolce Vita for a night. Ordered 6 beers all night and when I went to check out. The tab indicated 8. They have been overcharging all the men at this club and I was with a friend and she told me that this has been going on for awhile. Beware and do not patronize this establishment!

From Atlantico, exit your hotel and walk to the left on Siqueira Campos. You will find an exchange on the left. Open til about 6 pm.

Taxi. You can try Uber. About 45 reals. Otherwise only take a taxi with a meter. And make sure they use the meter. I think a metered taxi will run about 80 reals if I recall correctly.

From Arena hotel, go up to NS Copa and turn right. Walk to the next block Republica do Peru. Just as you pass over Peru about 20 m there is a small street on the left. Look left and you will see a money exchange near a Salon. This one is open late til about 10 pm.

Otherwise, if you are going to take the metro to Centro before 6 pm, use the exchange on Siq. Campos.

    Florida: Praca Maua 9, Centro.

MV 30: Rua Mayrink Veiga 30, Centro.

    4 x4: Rua Buenas Aires 44, Centro.

Cancun: Rua Do Carmo 64, Centro.

Terma 81, Rua the Quintanda, Centro.

The above are all in Centro and within walking distance of each other, but here are the ones closer to where you are staying in Copa:

Monte Carlo: Rua Hilario de Gouveia 19, Copacabana.

Eden Spa: Ave Nossa Senhora de Copacabana 583, # 401, Copacabana.

Delirio Spa (sp): Rua Hilario de Gouveia 66, # 201, Copacabana.

Dare I suggest Mabs for night time action (LOL), which is located at the corner of Atlantico (the main drag along the beach) and Prado Jr.

I can go on and on with different spots, but these are a start.

By the way, the Praia Lido Hotel has been closed for about a year now.

Enjoy your trip, but read up some more for more info or RTFF as they say.
Appreciate very much for your info. This forum has been terrific. I am looking forward to my upcoming trip.

Take taxi outside airport that runs on meter.

    Will cost half the price.

Will the taxi driver or Uber know how to get there as I don't have any of their address? I just read that there are 5 best hotels for girls: Praia Lido Hotel, Hotel Atlantico Copacabana, Promenade Princess Copacabana, Mercure Rio de Janeiro Botafogo and a love hotel called Jumbo Hotel.
Dude all the love motels are designed for this.

I already posted Best Western is GF. Your list omitted Hotel Ibis chain all over Rio and Brazil.

Take uber and in future punch in name of boate / terma on google and address magically will pop up.

If you need to know where to change money after arrival in Copa or in Centro, tell me where you are staying and I can tell you where to change money. Been going there for 11 years.

    Living in Buzios

So I've been the last 4 months in Buzios. Arrail do Cabo to exact, helping to run a posada.

One former and again dupla partner working girls out the 18 yo for some weed, packed a lengthy supply of Ca vapes, eating fresh fish we catch.

Any other folks from the board out here? One mini relationship is with a girl whose family lives in Arrail do Cabo, a Vascaina; and with another Vascaina. As yet, I haven't done Vasco x Vasco, but, it would be quite fun. May have to.

Pricing out geopolitical risk, here, hoping for a nuclear exchange up North to spike up my vix call options.

If today is 3.15 they will give you 3.15. It is in Prado Junnior next to Mabs, the name of the bar: O crack dos galetos it is open very late at night. Because late at night all the change agencies are closed.

In the day, the best place to change money if you have dollars is (Avenida nossa Sra. Copacabana, 371.). They always add 0. 10 reais that means if today 1 dollar is 3. 15 they will give you 3. 25.

Most other agencies will give you the same rate as www.xe.com.

If you give info what time you come to Brazil where you stay in Copacabana, your answer will be better answered.

When you arrive in Rio de Janeiro, you want to save up more money, it is better to take the bus. It is only 16 reais (http://www.riogaleao.com/transportes...amento/onibus/). There is WiFi and air conditioner in the bus. The driver will put your luggage in the boot, he will give you a paper so that you give it back to him when you get your luggage back. Just tell the driver where you want to get off. When he arrives close to the place he will call you.

If you don't want to bother taking the bus and you prefer to take a taxi, just take the official taxi in the airport. When you exit there are many official taxis that line up. Always ask the driver to use the counter.

Avoid any guy in the airport that try to offer you a taxi service, you can get ripped off by them. Their work is to find their suckers.

P.S. I haven't been living in Rio de Janeiro for a long time, but I learnt from experience when I travel to Brazil, I have been travelling to Brazil for 5 years. I speak Portuguese like Portuguese people. I always try to speak as Brazilian as possible. Many Brazilians think I am from Brazil when I speak Portuguese that's why my experience is different.

Don't forget, being expatriate, a retired and a simple tourist or a local are 4 different things. I mean if you only stay one or few weeks in Rio de Janeiro don't be cheap for few dollars, just pay good service and don't throw money for shit and have the best experience of your life and don't let people to rip you off before going back to the USA for work. You travel miles to fuck the best quality girls not the average girls you see in your daily life. If you stay as a retired or expatriate I can't advise you I am not an expatriate or retired in Brazil, I can only advise you as a expatriate in Japan or sex tourist in Brazil.

Every taste and experience is different, so just take the most useful info for you. Some people prefer 4 by 4, some prefer Cancun or other termas, some VM or trash clubs.

I just share my experience. Follow it or not, it is up to you take the most useful info to you. I don't have to tell you what is the best for you because I am not you.

Enjoy as much as possible in Rio de Janeiro and report your experience later so that the forum get updated everyday.

I am Quebecois (Canada). So sorry for my English.
Very helpful info. I should be arriving Rio airport at around 2 pm. I will be staying at either Arena Copacabana Hotel or Best Western Plus Copacabana Design Hotel. I certainly will file a FR after my trip.
