I consider myself an experienced forum dude, i.e. (not a n00b). I challenge you to find a thread on here that provides an address or even states that these two places are in Copacabana. I made the assumption that they were, however, I found no confirmation.

Not everyone stays in Copa, this is just one small area in Rio. So it would be stupid on my part to make that assumption, which is why I asked someone for confirmation before going on a wild goose chase.

This is the Rio forum, not a US city forum where most of the people talking live in that city and already know the area's well. Many of the people utilizing this form don't frequent Rio often or have only been here a few times. So it's expected for people to ask a few extra questions about locations and addresses.

Enjoy your trip in Rio. Roll with it, let everything else roll off your back. Being in Brazil 6 months a year makes me happy.

Hey guys, this was my 4th visit to Rio, my fave destination in the world for P4P action?

I ended up going to a terma every night, my appetite is insatiable, like many of you, all I could think about was sex? I prefer termas as they are safer, you know the prices up front, in many places the girls get tested too, and I just like the atmosphere where you see loads of beautiful girls all in one place where you can chat, flirt and kiss them?

I have a preference for white/caucasian girls, whatever you want to call it and speak fairly good Portuguese. I know many of you will say, well why go to RJ as most are black/mulattas? Yes that's probably true, but on previous trips I've always managed to find what I wanted?

I stayed in a one bedroom apartment on Avda Nossa Senhora de Copacabona & Rua Miguel Lemos, very close to the old Help.

I'll split this report into various posts:

Day 1 – Balcony Bar (1424 Av. Atlantica), (Barbarellas (Rua Min Viveiros Castro, 24 – Copacabana), Pussy Cat (Rua Belfort Roxo, 88. Copacabana,)

Arrived in RJ at around 21. 30 after a 12 hour flight, got to my apartment about 22. 30 left all my stuff there and decided to check out the scene. From previous experiences I knew it would be too late to go to a terma as most places seem to close at midnight or 01. 00 but quieten down a few hours before so I decided to check out Balcony Bar which seems to be the new help.

As most people described it's a small bar, I got a drink (quite expensive!) and started to check out the talent. A big disappointment I have to say, well October is low season and prob not the best time to go but the flight was cheap and it was a spontaneous trip anyway (booked 5 days before?). I don't think there was one girl I found attractive and besides, since I have a preference for white/Caucasians there weren't many of those about anyway.

I then went to Barbarellas, for many of you who don't know it's basically a club with nude dancers and working girls for take out. It was 60 reals to get in (you get two drinks with that) and did the usual, got myself a drink and started to check out the talent. Again, there was nothing really outstanding for me, I chatted to a lot of girls but none that really I found attractive enough to take home with me. I did kiss one girl though, she wasn't that bad, but I didn't really want to take her home but I was having fun just kissing her anyway. Of course these girls try to be very persuasive and kissing is one way to get a new client, but hey I was having fun just kissing her and in the end just told her I didn't want to go with her.

There was nothing there for me so decided to leave and went to a place called Pussy Cats. I went to this place on my last trip to Rio and my friend ended up taking a girl home on that occasion. When I went there this time, again a big disappointment, I only went in to have a look so didn't pay entrance, then I left almost immediately afterwards and went back to my apartment.

Those touts on ho-beach must have a really hard time nowadays with so few gringos. I would never spend a single centavo on those vultures. I have my favourite barraca 100 metres away. Close enough to see if there are any interesting talents coming down to ho-beach. It's very amusing to see the touts running after gringos on the beach, fighting to get the clients.

Those touts should perform at a circus. The man with the giant balls, the man with the giant belly, Paulo with the extra belly-button (dead by now?), the indio, the limping dwarf, fiscal da natureza and the crazy dog doing tricks.

Headed up to Balcony, met a natural blonde type, she told me 200 reais and she has a car, we started to walk to her car but then she told me to wait about 1 block after Balcony in the middle of nowhere, she told me she has to wake her friends up who are sleeping in the car, girls who are drunk.

I waited for a few minutes and then turned around walked straight into Dolce Vita, met a girl who I saw in 2a2 the other night and I was in the same room as her, OMG putas in a swing club?

Later walked back out to Balcony as Dolce Vita was not that crowded, ran into a nice sweet slim blonde, 200 reais and back to the apto, she knocked my socks off, best sex I had all day.

Overall it's not TA or Help but with looking a little bit you can come up with something decent and they all quote me 200 reais so far.

Some girl told me there is another club they go to 5 blocks from the Copacabana Palace; don't remember the name but I'll try to do some more research. It's on Ave. Atlantica.

Passed by Ho beach today about 2 PM, a few putas there, the touts were all over me like white on rice and some of the old vet touts came over to laugh because they saw how they attacked me. I never sit there prices so inflated but they told me the girls come later about 2:30 to 3 PM, but I didn't return. I saw my old friend Jose there who is the most aggressive of the bunch, he doesnt talk to me anymore because I caught him stealing and when I went back to confront him and demand my money back I did it in front of prospective clients, I embarrased him to give me my money back, since then he doesn't bother me anymore, this is a good thing.

Took me awhile got off on the wrong metro station. Need to get off on carioca
station. The bld is literally next door to it. I think there are many in the bld so shold be easy to check out 3-4 in one trip. the people there were very friendly and the room was clean.

Glad you had a good experience there. I have been there a few times over the past several weeks and it is a decent scene, though dominated by the same cliques of girls (apparently they sort of drive away newcomers). I also have been upstairs to Dolce Vita and while it is small, it's not quite as small as the "broom closet" comment would lead a novice to believe DV usually gets hopping around 2:30AM -- the balcony crowd moves upstairs around that time.

R$200 is really the "experienced" rate that long-term guys here are getting for TLN from girls there, from the folks I've talked to. Glad you got it, too and had a good exp.

Funny thing is, I look right down on DV and Balcony from my apartment across the square and I can see the crowds out there when I go to bed. Fun times. I need to buy a telescope

I asked some people about her and they told me that she has been selling those things for over 20 years. That's so crazy!

I picked up a girl and we hooked up last night for $200 reals. She stayed the night and we basically kicked it all day today together and had sex on and off between outings. Not too bad for $200 reals. I never spent that much on a girl, but she was definately worth it for an entire days time.

I may go back out there tonight, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sexed out and am going to see my main girl tomorrow and may need a day to recoop.
