There will be no public reports about the mongering scene, so it will be interesting how this entire virus scenario plays out. I can only imagine that GDP's (hidden economy) can only hold out for so long in there homes. They have mouths to feed. It will be interesting to see when the tipping point will take place (If it already hasn't), and the Termas, Prives and online websites are at operating again as usual or close enough to it.

You are right about the tipping point. In Sao Paulo there are many clinicas open with reduced hours or appointment only, but the night clubs are closed. Many girls have stayed home, but in a week or two they have go back to make some money. One lady I have been talking to stayed at home for two weeks and thought she can go back to her normal life after that. This is not going to be over by June, July or August.

First time in it's history of almost 100 years, the Copacabana Palace closed it's doors due to coronavirus outbreak. They are planning to open the doors again at the end of May.

Also, I hope it doesn't, but most likely (and I hope I am wrong), this might affect the quality (liberal) of service we are accustomed to experiencing in bunda land. Social distancing is the antithesis of this hobby.

I know of a couple of buddies who have planned trips for June, and one of them already canceled, and the other is thinking about doing the same. Its going to be interesting.

Here is a few bad photos I took of Help and Terraco Atlantico.

I was in Rio a couple of times when Help was going full blast. I never went inside; there was a lot of action just outside the door. T he garotas lined the sidewalks and cafes. Lots to pick from; and at a fraction of the cost of the Help girls.

Yep, SP has a great hooker club scene. It's too bad because Rio is a great tourist destination. Sao Paulo not so much.

There has not been such a large club venue in Rio since 2010.

For what you are looking for Rio is not the place. Take the short flight to So Paulo. Go to the Boates (nightclubs) there. Scandallo is tops and worth every penny. Exactly the format you describe nightclub full of 8-10 often 150 girls and rooms onsite.

Many of us who have done the world (but I admit not Colombia yet) consider Scandallo the top pick worldwide.

I really enjoy hunting for the beautiful favela mulatas, however, outside the favela, LOL.

Rio is fun, however, SP for the club scene is on a way higher level.

And, much more $, but for the guys that enjoy that, well worth it they say.

I've done it all in SP as well, I'm just not a big night club, high $ type guy.

I find my Lovin in other ways. 😉

Great advice. And I have done Colombia. For me and my tastes, Brazil is the easy winner. Hands down.

After that it is straight to brothels and termas.

Mabs is more laid back than the examples you stated above.

It's more of an outdoor restaurant cafe setting with hookers milling about.

IMO, there’s a lot of not so hot girls, but usually at least several hotties about, at least after about 1030 or 11 pm.

However, the after party scene at Doce Vita, just down the street is more upbeat, and generally with better looking girls.

Starts at about Midnite to 1 am.

The Termas would be a fun place for you guys as well.

Help first opened in 1984, it was a regular disco for middle to upper middle class types in the Copacabana area. I'd been there many times during these early years and never met a GDP. In Copacabana in general there were many GDP's but not in Help, the girls for the most part hung out in the many restaurants / cafes along ave. Atlntica like meila pataca and Mabs but all of them, also in the Lido area. Eventually after the late 80's slowly but surely they infiltrated Help and the regular crowd never showed up anymore but it didn't happen overnight by the mid 90's it was totally taken over.

I noticed the programas 88-89. Actually, it was when the girls in our circle stopped wanting to go to Help that for us a tipping point was reached. Sorry, I can't give you a month or day, but sometime during 1989 things were changing.

If memory serves, it was during the Sarney years where programas began coming in, by Collor's time when it was total programas. 1989 was a very momentous time in Brazil, the election was going on, a lot was happening with things coming into the open.

No, completely wrong. In the 80's it was a regular club. In the 90's it was a h**ker club. The mid 2000's was when Help was starting going downhill quickly.
