So the Boxing sports world lost a legend on March 13th, 2021, Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

It was way back in the day (90's), that I ran into him and his brother, at HELP during carnival. He was one of the nicest sports celebs you'll ever meet. I was very surprised at how much taller I was (me 5'11) than him, but make no mistake about it, he was a solid muscular man, from head to toe (and good looking). Obviously not someone to be messed with. He shall missed by family and those in the sporting world.

Pretty sure I'd taken a pic of him and his brother back then, but can't seem to find it. Anyway here is a little nostalgia from that Rio Carnival era.

The mayor of Rio had a press conference Thursday where he said he wants to close Rio de Janeiro but it wouldn't make sense unless the other states agree to close their borders too. Otherwise, we could fly into SP and then take a bus to Rio. I think they are closing buzios to foreigners as well.
