The girls you meet at Rio Sul Mall at the " food court" and the business woman you meet in Centro is going to behave different then the female you run into on the streets of Ipanema. To me game or whatever you want to call it doesn't matter to me IF I am in Rome or at a nightclub in South Beach or on the strip in Vegas a female is a female to me.

A female on a Metro / Bus be it in Rio or in New York is going to look at you and " evaluate" should she talk to you or smile at you in MOST cases in a half of second. This is why I try to stay on point meaning dressing nice and working out and having a fresh haircut or clean shaved face.

So if you feel good about yourself she can tell it. I have always stood out mostly because I can't hide ( nor do I want to) I stand 6'5 and if a girl glance at me or make eye contact at me I will look at her and IF I catch her looking twice at me I will smile at her and if she smile back I may wink at her and if she laughs or smile I will get up and walk over to her and start talking to her or hand her my card to me (this is easy and this is simple to me). What is the worst thing that can happen? She get off the bus / train? Or don't take your card? In most cases she will give me her office business card (maybe she have a boyfriend at home) etc. who knows ??

My attitude have always been when meeting girls what is the worst thing that can happen? In most cases you will NEVER see them again so what you have to lose go for it. I've picked up several women on buses in Brazil. The metro is way much harder. On the metro in Rio people tend to just sit quiet and minding their own business. It's not like the buses where people use to chit-chat and you can move around more easily.

As for inviting Terma girls over for paid sex, I don't think it's as bad as you say. That was my mo When I first came to Rio and it has worked well over the years. So the answer Eric isn't cut and dry after living here in Rio for 1. 5 years you shouldn't even have time to step inside a Termas from girls knocking down your front door. LOL I only been here for 2 weeks and I have to take the phone off the hook in my hotel room when I have a girls over so I won't have any problems or issues. Rio is a gold mine at just picking up single girls even on the Metro Train at around 4-5 pm downtown you have working business ladies working around in their heels and dresses just offer them to have some coffee or drink with you before they go home and IF they don't have time for it pass them your hotel or apt or cell phone number and say when you have time give me a call. It's so damn easy here.

Most of these Termas girls mostly have a bad view or outlook on most guys ALL they see mostly are 90% of guys that are married or single local guys that are cheating on their wives or girlfriend with them or one of their co-workers so when you offer them to see you for dinner or go somewhere to listen to some music. BUT the last thing you should do is OFFER them to just come over to your place just for sex (or asked how much they charge for the hour). You are right Sperto in your entire post. I have never been in Brasil more than 2 weeks at a time in 15 trips, sad to say, but I'm working on it. So my time is short to be romancing. However, if I were there 2-3 months a visit or longer, then I will fine me a non pro.
