In Brazil it pays to be tolerant. Rio has a very large gay population and a ton of tranny's. I personally don't care what 2 consenting adults do amongst themselves - you need to be way past judging anybody.

Problems of Trannies:
you might mistaken them among all these muscled girls. As another poster mentioned, they are prettier then most ugly Balcony riffraff

Trannies are dangerous, if they act up they are stronger then girls. Dangerous!

Most guys here really get turned off by seeing them. And lots of girls might get scared off. After all, they are men, strong, intimidating.

Of course, balcony is probably not the best of places anyway ..........

I was in rio last week and Exec Talent is correct. Balcony is full of TVs! I would say they are at least 35% of the crowd in balcony! I was really shocked how many of them work in the bar every single night!

L'uomo has really started to jump on Sundays. It was packed last night at times.

Passed by MC yesterday and it is indeed closed on Sundays. L'uomo has some really good and new talent these days. Also, there is no cover if you arrive before 4:00 and take a girl sometime during the night. Get there before 7:00 and take a girl and entrance is half off. You can pay everything, including the girl, and there is no extra charge for using your credit card. Food is now only served on Saturdays. Keep in mind though that termas talent changes almost weekly so get 'em while they're hot!

Nice report carot top, excellent in fact. Nice report as well to Exec, although I must comment that the talent must be a bit lacking if one has to mention TV's even in passing. Not having a go at you exec, I actually got a smile out of your post. Say what you will about Rio, it is never dull!

The main reason I brought up the TVs is because they look better than many of the regular girls and I wanted to make sure guys do not get caught up in a situation like a buddy of mine did a few years back. He was kissing all over a Help girl and gets her back to his apartment only to find out "she" had a package! He said he was tempted because "she" was gorgeous but ended up kicking her out. It used to be that you would see a few TVs down around Barbarella but now quite a few seem to be hanging around Balcony.

Don´t know if anyone else has mentioned this, but while visiting Monte Carlo Termas last Friday I learned that they will be closed every Sunday until sometime in November. The manager said that they are renovating and adding new/more rooms upstairs. Sundays are usually pretty dead in Terma-land anyway.

This Saturday at Balcony was a different story. Either everyone worthwhile was occupied or they were elsewhere. Hurt my eyes to even look it was so bad. Went around to a number of the clubs and more of the same. The hottest girl I saw was a well built blond with a major tattoo on her arm. Also, the TVs were out in numbers everywhere including at Balcony.

Here'S what I remember:

4x4

200 BRL for 40 minutes, 220 BRL for 60 minutes, 50 BRL entry, still waived before 17:00. Mostly 8s and above. I was there right when they opened and there were only about 15 girls working. More come in at 15:00, and more at 17:00. Very little English spoken here, so it was a bit confusing. (So thanks to everyone who has contributed here. It really gave me a heads up on what to expect.) Other commenters have mentioned that often the girls are up and out of the room as soon as you've done, even if the time isn't up. My girl wasn't like that at all. She stayed for the full hour, no problem. As to the problem of asking for tips, the only time that I experienced this was when I went to pay. The checkout girl asked if I would like to leave a tip. I asked if it was for the girl or for everyone. She replied no, it was for her! All told, my experience cost R$226 and I loved the place. Well worth the money.

Got there at 16:30. About 15 girls working. Nothing wrong with them, but none my type. 60 BRL entry, but only 30 BRL before 19:00. 320 BRL for 40 minutes, 340 BRL for 60 minutes, 360 BRL for 60 minutes in a suite. (I think) Laid back atmosphere, girls waited until you called them over. My girl was less definitely less skillful and more interested in getting it over with than at 4x4. Few English speaking girls. Hot water in the showers! The standard room was smaller and not as nice as 4x4.

Centaurus. Very loud place. Girls were extremely aggressive. Very much like an American strip club. Girls not as hot as have been described, but they did have the best English skills. I wasn't impressed at all by this place, but it depends on what you are looking for. I don't remember the prices, but it was very expensive.

Before Help closed, programa girls, looking for tourist money, used to hang out and sunbathe in the afternoon on the beach in Copa across from Help. Are they still there? If not, are they at another beach now during the daytime, and if so exactly where?

I was in Rio last week. Spent some time at a bar/resto on Copacabana called Meia Pataca (spelling?). I was with a wingman and there were quite a few gdp's working the mostly male patrons. A couple were decent looking and a couple were not. YMMV.
