Found some flash drives in an old backpack I used to take to the beach.

Counting photos from left to right, I'm fairly certain the great looking girl on the left shot some porn scenes. Hell, it's likely some others in your photo album did as well. Back in the 2000's, it was common to pick up a Brazilian porn DVD and say "I did that chick in Rio" or "my buddy did that chick". LOL.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I miss those blue sequined walls and all the girls that sat in front of them.

Just curious, where did you take the photo of the stunner in the wedding day garter and g-string ensemble? How did that outfit come to be?

They would be in the triangle 7 days a week. Its amazing to see who many are still working, how many moved the the states and some who just faded away. Almost every girl in that montage has a cool story about what happened to them since Help closed.

I've run into to former Helpee girls in Washington, DC, at Brazilian restaurant that was a few blocks from my house. Have also run into them in the NJ area. The NYC Brazilian Day Festival is like a freaking Help reunion!

Sure man, no problem. I remember Subway and Sao Bento. I'd pass through there every so often but never pulled anything. I too liked Praca Maua, especially Florida. I stayed at Puma Motel during Carnaval once for cheap when everything in town was sky-high. Had a camarote at Sambadromo for all 3 days. On Saturday, for Grupo de Acceso I invited 2 waitresses from 4 X4 and Jorginho who was the manager there for many years (now the head honcho at 65). He actually desfilou (paraded) with Renascer de Jacarepagu. I got bored and decided to walk around. It was weird because no matter where I went nobody asked me for credentials. I ended up in the staging area where schools would gather before desfilando (parading) and met a passista (dancer) from samba school Inocentes de Belford Roxo. She was a solid 8. 5-9. Ended up spending the night at Puma with me. Good times.

Do you remember Aquarius on Rua Acre? That's gone too. Club Afrodite which is kitty corner from 210 on Uruguiana between Presidente Vargas and Marechal Floriano is worth a look. 210, 13, Vanessa 05, and 119 Rua Alfandega all have the same owner. I like 13 the best personally but heard 119 has been good lately. Don't like their steep ass stairs though, fall and break your neck like at 03 Leandro Martins. Better not come out of there drunk LOL. There's a newer place at Praa Monte Castelo 26 where I've seen some nice ones. There's a Smart Fit gym on the same street and a per kilo restaurant that's decent.

Does anyone know which are the best postos on the beach (Ipanema, Copa) to go to flirt and see the best cariocas?

Between Posto 9 and 10 always has a lot of hotties. They were mostly civilian girls with an occasional gamer in the mix. The civilian girls are a tough nut to crack for the older guys. Even if you're young and handsome, don't confuse a friendly smile as an invitation to have sex. A few knuckleheads always think Brazilian girls will immediately jump in bed with any foreigner that shows interest.

The Copa beach scene doesn't seems to be as concentrated as back when Hooker Beach was right in front of the Rio Othon Hotel. It's a nice walk down the beach. Smile as you pass the sexy girls. You never know when you will get that welcoming look. The girls on Copa, as a very general rule, come from humbler backgrounds than Ipanema. Although this has become more challenging over the last ten years, someone might be interested in some excitement and a chance to earn some cash.

P.S. I'm not sure how you and your Romani friends will be received there Mr. Shelby.

"Sperto", just one old timer to another. Although, its tough to report on Brazilian cities, these days, nostalgia can still be very informative.

Yep! Some memorable moments in Praca Mauá. Always remember the Scandinavian Bar, would hustle you for drinks and the girls loved taking advantage of the sailors when they were in town. Filippino Bar had some infamous cat fights over the sailors and the drama in the square at times, never failed to entertain.

Loved being seated in the open-air, at the (24 HR) Florida Restaurant, just outside / next door to Bar Florida, enjoying a cold beer, some Brazilian treats like, "Bolinho de bacalhau" or my favorite "peixe frito com batata fritas e salada" and capping off the night with a dancer / stripper from Bar Florida or a catch at Subway Club at 2 am to 4 am in the morning. Certainly made for an interesting sex-fueled night, back at the Hotel Sao Bento.

I was in Rio twice 21 years ago, made 3 two week trips and stayed in a hotel just a few blocks from HELP, oh the memories.
