There was only a week while I was in RJ that the Prive's were officially open, so I chose to go to only 1 Prive by the name of RJMassagem in Barra. 2) The Metro Rio, is probably way easier to navigate than either the (nightmare of a sytem, that is the) Tokyo Metro Subway system (believe me) or the London Underground and isn't hard as you might think, even with Portuguese nomenclature (unlike Tokyo...urrgh!) .

Urber / Taxis are fine and good way to talk with the local Cariocas. Metro Rio is a totally cool way of getting to know the city, if you're solo or not. Zone Sul locations (Barra, Leblon, Ipanema, Copa or Leme), just take LINE #1 or #4 all the way to 1 of four (4) centro stations (Cinelandia, Carioca, Uruguaiana or Presidente Vargas).

Most prives, boates, termas and P4P destinations can be found within walking distance of these four (4) centro stations. For a fist timer, you should be fine during the day. Use your own judgement at night.

Sometimes I've often used the metro system of city to get me to the approximate location to where I want to go, then I'll take a taxi (or if I get lost), to the finish the final leg of the trip. Can be cost effective sometimes, but not always. But that's just me, wanting to explore a little, if given the time.

3) Any tool that help you navigate the city should be welcomed. If you don't fear looking like a tourist, you could go old school and buy a map. One of my all time favorite traveling pastimes, is to play 'dumb' and ask pretty women for street directions (but don't use the precise address). You just never know.

Last time I checked in, I had tried out some expensive Tier 1 termas (MC and Centaurus) to great success. Since then, I visited Solarium and 4 x4 as well. Overall, I had no complaints with the attractiveness of the girls or their service. I even went back to Centaurus to account for the variance of how otherworldly my first time there was and I had another great experience, though not as good as the first. In my view, at the tier 1 termas, I would recommend hitting them up around the time that the Brazilian workday ends (seems 6-7 pm is a good time). I never had an issue finding girls I liked in the 7-8/10 range.

Ok before I get attacked for asking questions I did go back and read about 60 pages of post over the last week and a half. I did post once before and based on feed back from a few nice members I have decided to stay in CocaCabana for my first visit although It sounds like I ill bed spending a lot of time in Centro. 1) Have any of you had problems bringing a girl back to an Airbnb. I have a nice size budget 150 usd per night but so many hotels that I have written have told me I can't have any visitors. The few that have said they are ok just don't seem like super nice places to stay.

1. If that's your hotel budget and you want to stay at a nice place, stay at JW Marriott. It seems no one has had any problems bringing back guests there.

Alright, here is where I can preface everything by stating that this is MY OPINION. I read a lot of posts here extolling the virtues of the prives and cheap termas. I ended up sampling at Onix Terapia (more on that later) and at a Centro terma with a lower level co-worker and I just couldn't enjoy. I prefer not to be reminded of the abject povert many WGs face while we pinch pennies or how bad working conditions can be. And that shouldn't be surprising when you are paying the equivalent of 30-50 USD for a nut. If you want good amenities and simplicity, I'd recommend one of the tier 1 termas (not Centaurus unless you want to shell out even more). Their facilities were passably good and comparable / slightly better than most average fishbowls in Bangkok. In terms of service, I will say that it was pretty good. The girls are not as into it and the veneer of authenticity is much more transparent, but the service was good, nonetheless.

Onix Terapia.

I just wanted to note that I tried out Vitoria due to her good reviews by others and I would 100% agree with the assessment. She is one of the few girls in that side of the game that spoke good English and she looked great. It is an absolute shame that she is working at those facilities instead of playing at the online game. She could easily pass for a BarraVips girl and definitely has that capability. I never got her number and I have no interest in going back but if any of you ever go there, I'd give her the advice to pay for a photoshoot, put "english speaker" on her profile, and rake in the cash. Extra Thoughts.

There has been a running debate between Thailand or Brazil and I don't really care to think about it because the women are so different in looks. I like both so I think it best to hit up both on rotation. I do find Rio more enjoyable as a destination because of the beach and weather (Thailand feels super muggy sometimes). The only caveat is that Rio really doesn't cater to tourists in the way that SEA does. By no means are tourists not liked or unable to get around, but English is not very common here. In SEA, most service workers understand some level of English so it is easy to feel comfortable. This even extends to the WGs since Rio seems to have a pretty vibrant local community. Essentially, a sizable portion of the high quality talent in Rio had no English knowledge which means you are probably not getting in the door there. It's not like Japan with the racism (nothing is that bad), but it does feel like there is a gap in Rio for foreign mongers due to language and their own local community that supports the top talent. I came down for a bit of work and was taken by banking industry co-workers to a "local" terma in Botafogo that blew all of the Tier 1 termas out of the water. Suffice it to say that the women were model / porn actress level with an associated price tag to boot. Some of our more frugal members here would be convulsing in anger but it was definitely a great experience if you have the money and the "in" to get into the door. That whole story was mostly just to highlight a major difference I see in Rio compared to SEA or the US, top level talent advertises openly and are available to anyone who can pay.
