VM itself is actually very safe. I have been there as late as 11 pm by myself. The dangerous part is getting to and from VM. If you go right before or a little after dark, its still pretty safe to take the public bus. But if you go there, say at 9 pm or later, its better to take uber. That's just my opinion from my limited experiences of VM.

After checking out the scene at Uruguirana, 210 and Alfandega, 119, I went to Terma 502 last night. Unlike the other two, Terma 502 charges a R10 entrance fee that does not go towards any consumption. Programa pricing are R150 for 30 minutes and R200 for 1 hour.
