Just returned from a 7 day trip my first time in Rio de Janeiro. Before I start I just want to thank the brothers who have me tips and advice before I went. Will definitely hit up Solarium again. 4 x4 will be given another chance, as promised. Termas 65 is still on the list. A few more dates with non-pros are still lined up so balancing this schedule is proving to be difficult. BarraVIP and / or Private55 will happen at some point.

Why don't people like this place besides the cost? My Brazilian friends were raving about this place because even though it is faux-fancy, the quality was pretty good. Is the quality worth the price? In the eye of the beholder I guess. Walked in through a setup that is meant to mimic Roman architecture. Paid the entry fee, got my robe, and went upstairs to the bar.
