A couple of years ago TDM33 was my reliable place, I could always find something in there.

But imo now the quality is very average and don't get me started on those elevators.

I know there are many rooms and it depends on when you visit, but I've been numerous times recently and most times I walked. I agree, much better options in other places like RB156.

Very true about TDM33. The mongering scene in Rio Centro is like a spider web. Largo the Carioca is in the center of the web and the other privées are spread out in the web, with some extra concentration at Vila Mimosa and Tijuca.

Largo the Carioca mongering core consists mainly of RB156, RB185 and TDM33. There was a time where TDM33 had almost as many privées like RB156, a mixture of trash privées and "high class" privées. Now it's like TDM33 is abandoned except for the most sleazy puteiros. The whole building is really rundown. The elevator situation has always been confusing for newbies as they had to use hidden escalators to reach the elevators for the upper floors. There seems to be only two elevators working, serving 33 floors. Slow elevators that often are broke and doesn't stop on some floors.

RB185 has a great elevator system with quick and neat elevators. The problem with RB185 is that the security dislike if you use the stairs when exploring several floors. They call out in loudspeakers telling you're not allowed to walk between the floors. RB156 has a good elevator system, even though it's a hassle to register. The stairs in RB156 are very convenient and nobody cares if you run up and down exploring the building.
