    Rio

I was in Brazil the last five weeks for work and in and out of Rio on several occasions for short stays. Another great time in this beautiful city with so many beautiful women. This is certainly not news to some, but it may be helpful as there seems to be a lot of chatter about having to work hard and put in time and legwork to find the gems in Rio. Since I'm there for work and have limited mongering time, my interest is in putting in as little time and effort as possible. So for whatever it's worth, in recent years I've found that some of the better information, or at least the information I want, is to be found on the local forums. While some of the information is outdated and though there is some overlap, there are more than enough very useful details. I found gpguia, hotforum, and gparena to be rather out of date and so-so this year while forumx was very good.

If you're looking for where to get the best fish in town, whether to get around with taxis, uber, metro, or buses, how the Brazilian economy is affecting the P4 P scene, where to stay, what clothes to wear, what music to play, etc. , then this is your place as it can be useful for those who need help with that kind of information. If you want to cut to the chase and just read detailed reviews of prive girls, freelancers, and termas, you may want to check the local forums. They provide you with names, locations, numbers, websites, etc. And you don't have to wade through the chit chat. Simple common sense then leads you to look for foristas with multiple posts, girls who have multiple positive reviews, and of course reviews that describe the kind of girl and experience you're looking for. They've done most of the legwork for you, most reviews are pretty detailed, and you can usually find a picture of the girl. If this is kind of strategy works for you, and of course if you have some Portuguese, it's sort of a no-brainer, kind of served up on a silver platter.

This year, I had a good "to do" list, with all the details needed, in hand before arriving. I had limited time in Rio, but just enough for 9 sessions with 7 different girls, 6 of which I found on forumx reviews of prives and freelancers. The only non-review girl I went with was at Monte Carlo at 7:30 PM last Saturday night when it was filled with about 25 of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen. In the few times I've been there, maybe eight times, I've always had a fantastic time. I know everyone's tastes are different and that things vary from week to week or even day to day, but the beauty in that room on that night was insane, almost painful. Amazing GFE.

Personality and performance are my top criteria, and that's where the reviews can be very helpful in this otherwise unpredictable game. I found all the reviews of the 6 girls to be spot on, and every one provided top notch GFE. All Portuguese speaking only. In the looks department, it was a nice variety of morenas, loiras, spinners, and full figured gals. I did the minimum amount of research and legwork to look for, and then get, exactly what I wanted. I imagine that there may be other useful local forums that others may want to share. Reading some hot reviews and then seeing a picture of the girl, then dreaming about fucking her, then arriving in Rio and actually fucking her and having a great time is pretty damn awesome.

    Sunday mongering options: Mosaico?

Thank you for your feedback. I was worried that my inquiry would get lost in the economics discussion.

What about Mosaico? I did some more digging and it appears that Mosaico is open on Sunday nights as well. I saw that on most nights the action at Mosaico does not begin in earnest until after midnight, when the termas girls go there after the termas close on their way home to Zona Norte. After midnight is a bit late for me, so I was wondering if the action starts any earlier on Sunday nights, since the girls would presumably be going there directly and not from the closing termas.

The Mosaico business model was a bit unclear to me. Correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like the girls are there independently, albeit with standard rates for sessions in the on-site rooms (150/30, 200/60). Are those rates official and fixed (I. E. Set in stone or listed on paper somewhere), or are they just typical or normal and thus subject to negotiation? As a first-time visitor to RJ with no Portuguese language skills, I was hesitant to go with independents because of the need to host and negotiate with them and the risk of a rate dispute or a scam, but if there are fixed rates for sessions in on-site rooms at Mosaico, I would be more comfortable with that.

As a first-time visitor to RJ who speaks no Portuguese, I plan to focus on termas, prives, and massagems. Given the circumstances, I am hesitant to pursue independent GDPs in person and online, and I wonder if Vila Mimosa would be a good fit for me even if I did have prior RJ experience and spoke Portuguese, given what I have read about it here. A Sunday will also be my second day in town, so I will not have had much time to collect phone numbers from termas or prive GDPs by that very early point in my trip.

So where do you go on Sundays? I did a search and it seems like Vila Mimosa, Mabs, and Barbarella's are popular options for Sundays. Do you have any other suggestions for a first-time visitor with no Portuguese? Are there any termas, prives, or massagens open on Sundays that I may have missed?

I still say it is a ridiculous "theory". In 2015 and 2016 when the dollar gained against the euro, did all the FKK owners in Germany start increasing their prices? No fuck shop in country A decides their prices on what is going on in countries B through Z. You guys act like these places are giant corporations. It is a hoarhouse with 30 chicks working there where a guy can go get his rocks off for 40 minutes.

Talk about overthinking. Will someone that has boots on the ground just go ask these guys why they are moving the prices up instead of giving into all the economic theory of hoarhouses stuff.

How is that crazy? That is just basic business 101, or you can even say Common Sense? If you sell a car for $50,000 and people are hardly buying it and demand is weak, What makes you think raising the price to $60,000 going to help you? Basic Business 101 is you drop the price to spark demand and more customers will be interested if they see a deal.

Lets say you run a online store name Jet.com, and your competing against amazon.com. Lets just say both jet.com and amazon.com are losing money? Which Business Strategy Will Work? You own Jet.com and your losing money and you raise the price on your items? And then amazon.com is also losing money but they lower there prices? Lets say a 1 Year goes by. Who do you think is going to make more money? My money is amazon.com will make way more money because they will attract way more customers.

40 minutes all-in cash price at Solarium is now BRL 505, including girl / room / entrada.
A GDP ideally likes to work Tuesday to Thursday so they can go out and party Friday and Saturday and spend Sunday with their family / kids etc then sleep that whole sequence off Monday cause they ate too much and drank too many cervejas and Caipirinhas

The more ambitious ones work Monday as well and a bit of Friday but will try and leave early on a friday (before 7-8pm) so they can get home (1+ hours each way or the forward-thinking ones brought change of clothes to work) and change to go out.(I saw 5 GDPs I recognized at Barra Music)

The odd ones carry on after the terma at VM, Mosaico, private clients, Mabs etc.

The desperate work on a saturday (zona sul termas, couple centro trash boates,VM,Mosaico, independents).

The starving ones work on a sunday(VM,independents if theyre bribed right!.

This is not taking rain into consideration.

If it rains that's a wrap for many who stay indoors despite uber etc.

This is so that their hair doesnt get messed up!

DISCLAIMER! This post is not set in stone but based on my headshaking observations/experiences over 22 trips in 4.5 years with a smile! abracos

Large, industrialized economies like the U.S. Europe and Japan are not going to have local prices react to short-term currency swings. The impact of currency rates on local economy activity is negligible in the short run in these countries. However in Latin America, Southeast Asia, etc. Not only is the impact of currency felt on local prices quickly, the locals are very well aware of it at street level. Your wealthy Brazilians and many of your middle class Brazilians have offshore accounts in euros and dollars. Your average American, German or Japanese is not paying as much attention to the currency rates because it is unlikely to affect them.

Since prices and currencies are forever dynamic, it's not a quid pro quo relationship. I noticed someone said real estate prices were now falling. I earlier said Real devaluations cause local real estate prices to go up. This is the immediate effect of a large devaluation on a property, say a condo overlooking Ipanema Beach. That same condo can soon have price pressures because of local conditions. Both local price directions can be correct within the same year.

In the late 2000's, locals would have been attacking us on this board for such thoughts. They would argue that the Brazilian economy and currency were unstoppable. Brazil didn't depend on American or European investment or trade anymore. They didn't need us in their pussy markets. Then the global economy popped. Then the China bubble popped. And here we are with a shitty Brazilian economy.

Brazillian will update prices while comparing with P4P cost in the global market with the global market. For instance, I just bought Samsung Galaxy 8+ in UK for 800 British Pounds and you can purchase it for US $1100 in the USA. It will cost you 3300 Reals in Brazil. The Brazilian p4 p owners are smart enough to update their prices while comparing with the cost and level of sex service in Germany, France, Ukraine etc. Wake up man. They are not stupid anymore. Welcome to Globalization.
Prices are good righr now. Its 3 to 1. If it gets to 4 to 1 it will be even better.

Ok, thanks. Ill be down in 9 days. I have not been to MC in about 4 years.

It is also done in the USA. When you have operating costs, overhead, etc that are independent of the cost of goods sold, the fewer items you sell, the larger mark up you need on each item in order to cover the fixed costs. When you see items advertised as being marked down "because they are not selling" you should take that explanation with a grain of salt, it might mean they are just taking a cut in profits from an original cost that was inflated. US sellers may also have easier credit than sellers in Brazil which allow them more freedom, such as selling at a loss in order to make monthly payments on loans, in hopes business will pick up later and allow them to recoup losses.

But again it's the reason Brazil is a 3rd world country.

Excellent suggestion or someone who actually knows Brazilians, the Brazilian Economy and Foreign Exchange is going to have to stop the car and take their shoe off.

Now, let's have some FACTUAL firsthand reports.

Ask any Brazilian there. Short-termism at its finest. Anything to avoid returning money or discounting.

The ones who are trying to be pro-active are the independents offering more girls for less etc and like the ones i met at Mabs offering me 1.5-2 hours for 150.

Increasing the entry fee towards consumacao is ok but only if you ACTUALLY plan on drinking quite a bit or buying drinks for the garotas etc

Once at MC a girl I picked went to the bathroom for 15 minutes (I shit you not) and I terminated and wanted money back. They fought me tooth and nail offering me free entrance next time despite me spending many many thousands there up till this event.

Only one of the tier 2/3 termas lowered their 1 hour price from 200 to 180 (T3) -everyone else just keeps tweaking it a bit hoping no one will notice! Loool.

    Safados.

I don't think termas have a future in Rio beyond the ones who have a following-a good local clientele as well as suplementing with some gringoes (4 x 4 etc) Solarium cause its for rich cariocas who like white girls but can't be bothered going to SP and the lower tier spots with a crowd (MV30 etc) wholl always get some and the rent there isn't alot as its the dark side of Vargas.

    Just my 2 centavos.

It seems that in SP its more business as usual in the big termas???? is it because more business men flow through SP-business center of BR etc?
Most of the owners of brothels are not business savvy, their focus is plain and simple to increase profits and are no doubt confused when they do not. Their mindset is as f..ked up as the p..sies they peddle.
