I read through the forum and found to my disappointment that the higher quality places are closed for action on Sunday. Can anyone suggest an option that is open on Sunday night?

Do you guys know if you can set up a time for Uber to pick you up at the airport in Rio while in the states. The Wi-Fi wasn't working atGIG when I was there last time. I did a quick search to my hotel in ipanema and you can get a black car for 95 reals. I don't want to deal with taxis or shuttles. Has anyone tried this before leaving for Rio.

Theoretically, yes, and they promise the driver will wait for you in case you're late. However, I've tried it twice (both times in Brazil), and it's never worked for me.

Have not done it but it appears to be possible in the app. Of course you run into the problems of a late flight or early flight. I would hate to be sitting around 45 minutes for an Uber that I ordered to be there later. Then if you get there later he will already be gone and more than likely with your money. Better to stick to that route when you know for sure you will be at the exact point at the exact time. If you get T-mobile you will not have to worry about wifi not working.

And of course you should stay away from the simple crappy rooms there at the little bars.

However, as I've posted before, there are some very seldom used rooms there, called suites.

Clean, AC, shower, etc.

Also love motels in the area.

I visit the other venues in Rio, but I'm always drawn back to the girl, the diamond I can find in VM.

And take her wherever I like.

I know we have been hit by inflation, but DAMN!! 800 R for 6 hours? I will admit, they made some nice updates when they remodeled the rooms but I doubt if I will go at those prices. (Maybe if they had a 2-3 hour rate)

In Gparena discussion they mentioned 50% discounts on all rooms. These are probably long gone now, but I wonder if they offer some other discounts locally. Maybe Senor Vagabundo could enlighten us if there are any options available, kkkk.

If not, it still could be used for 2-3 couples festinha if they don't charge more for that.

As the website says "You Must" so YOLO! Go for it. The top room suite rate is $R1,500.00 which only $290.25 USD and the lowest is $R450 which is only $87.07 USD (as of 02/17/2023 ex rate).

I don't see the sex chairs that you see in the Buttman videos. I guess they took them out during renovation, but the suites look nice.

There were only 3 rooms on the 21st floor (2102,2103,2107) that I could find. Usually there have been many more on other floors but I couldn't find any or I missed them. I bailed on the search after the 15 floor.

Trying to help you not make mistake I did:Harvest as many contacts as you can yesterday and today because of termas / prives etc weekend closures, your options will be limited on Saturdays and almost non-existent on Sundays.
