Anyway, the RIR in 2011 was rare best show ever, should have been there but was not there.

Hi all,

I'm in Rio until Friday and wondered if anyone wanted to meet up and hit some of the local mongering spots? Would appreciate some local knowledge so I don't get stung. Went to Centaurus yesterday. I know, I know, but I wanted to say I've been. Well, I've been and it was the crappiest experience ever. Will write a report when I get over it.

Since I won't be back in Rio for a long time, I'm planning for variety: want to try a decent Terma; go to a price; and get some take out; indulge in a 3 sum if at all possible!

Does anyone know if Balcony Bar is open again this week now that the world cup is over?

How do you the most easy way "flag down" a cheap / normal priced GFE for a couple of days in Rio. All continents / countries is a little different you know.

What is the best way to do it, bar, Beach, brothel, internet?

And is it easier in Sao Paulo or other places?

And can I get away with $$ for one night?

Went to Balcony last night.

Address; A little further down the avenue than shown on google maps.

Av. Atlntica, 1424 - Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. RJ, 22021-000.

Took a girl for 250, paid her taxi home (not needed) so spent around 300 rls.

Older girl that looked younger at the bar but she was fine nice thin body and fake tits, acted "in bed" alot which I did not go for.

Other girls where okay, but being from CIS I usually look for better quality and less trash, but hey its Rio so fake everything and a little bad is a nice change! Prob with 250 you get what you came for, only saw 2 girls I liked and my taste is in the innocent looking. Had a few oldies there, travs, some below average but for a quick take home of something pretty okay its the place to go. No negatives, friendly staff for foreigners and easy pickup. Taxi stand is convieniant and located infront near the main road.

Never use taxi stands for several reasons. First, they generally will try to rip you off. Second, as I related in another post, they might collude with a girl to rob you. Walk right past them and flag down a taxi in the street.

Are the places on the 2nd floor of this same building still open? I forgot the names, we used to just call them 583 & their room numbers.

This building was convenient if you rented an apartment in copa or stayed at the hotel on Siqueria Campos. Eden spa would do in a pitch if you didn't want to go downtown. But it is basically twice the cost of a session for the Rio Branco prives for a FS session. (220 R vs 120/150 R for 60 mins downtown).

I could definitely see myself getting Amanda (white outfit) or Lisa for a test drive.

Damn, I guess I missed it. Last Monday night it was still closed. I was in Rio for 3 weeks and the bar was closed when I got there, and closed when I left. Guess Rio didn't want the world to see what's happening right there at Copa Cabana. Can you describe what the Balcony bar is like, what type of girls are there, how do you rank them and what's the general price? And does the bar provide rooms?

Its your typical bar really. Filled with nothing but mongers and GDPs being the difference. Prices seem to range between 150-400 for ST and 300-800 for LT. So varies greatly depending on the girl / negotiation skills. You would find a few stunners, some with the word "Termas" writyen all over them. I even saw one of Centaurus girls there. Needless to say avoided like the plague. Quality is typical Rio between 5-7 mostly in looks with the very odd exceptions.

For those interested, Balcony remains closed with only a security guard inside. There are a few girls hanging around the area but can't say it would be worth anyone's time going there in hopes of hooking up. Saw more hot girls trolling the beach so you are better off having a drink or two at one of the beach kiosks than going to the Balcony bar area.

Stuck in Barra for a few days and need some advise. The Bubba Boy's guide I have is from 2012 and was still good when I was here last year.

Getting into Centro / Copa / Ipanema is just too long of a drive and inconvenient.

Is Praia Club 400 in Barra still open? Other suggestions?
