I think best best for cart man or mongers in general on brazilcupid is to go after girls in cities besides RJ. The social graph is too connected to GDPs in Rio. On the social networks, every few clicks leads to a 4x4 girl or a former GDP.

With copa under pressure from the government, I think the sweet spot is in tijuca. Motel malaga is within walking distance of vila mimosa, mosaico, red light club; and in daylight a number of prices like massagem tijuca, mix massagem, annes massagem; and a quick bus ride to centro. It's not going to get any better going to 2014-16, but for the same $R, the same bunda can be had.

what i saw at balcony: i spent each night there (6 days in oct as a newbie) and the only 'questionable' aged garotas were strictly passerbys. i rtf and was prepared to ask for i'd but the only teenies i saw or took to our apartment were clearly their stated age or more likely older. and i was looking for the younger ones. i know from being there that anyone can be fooled, trannies and such, but these balcony chicas had miles on them. good for late night but for my two cents i think the **** thing is an excuse to shut it down.

They don't demand a CPF to enter. The bouncer propably just wanted your R$20.

Another god spot for a New Help would be the Clube Israelita Brasileiro on R Rabata Ribeiro (tv R Santa Clara). The club sometimes holds big forró-parties. I've been there once and the building would be very suitable. Of course the prefeitura would propably do everything possible to avoid a New Help.

Another option for a New Help could be the disco Mariuzinn on Av NS Cop 435. Mariuzinn is popular among locals, they would propably not appreciate the place turning into a puteiro. However if enough gringos goes there, the GPs would follow like flies on shit. Just speculating.

I have been to Mariuzinn at Av NS Cop 435 over 5 times. I have lived in Copacabana nearly the entire year of 2006 and 07 and my local friends used to take me there with local non pro Brasilieras. I end up dating few of them for short term. One 21 why / old was from north Brazil who came to Rio to sponsor a domestic product in various locations of Zona Sul supermercado and elsewhere. I end up sleeping with few of them but when I add in their entry fee to the club, drinks, food, and cab fare (which I voluntarily paid) , it wasn't so cheap. I'm flying within few weeks and I'm already worried due to lack of options. Star Cris is the only daytime escort agency option left which I hope doesn't shutdown before I get there. Centaurus, Solarium, and 65 are ridiculously expensive. IMO, Monte Carlo (Tues only) , Cancun, and 4x4 are the only Termas left with a little rational prices.

During the years I've seen several brazilian news reports with imprisoned gringos. They really like to show them off, giving close captures of their passports. Nothing wrong with that, they have propably deserved it.

i've been rtffing on several sites including trip advisor and google. noticed vila mimosa is the rdl? is it still the spot? i read one article where it said the government was cracking down on it.

it seems vila mimosa is, and has always been, respected by goverment. so much that every time the close it down, they provide a new place for it. this is planned when they close down vm next time, due to the projected bullet train rio sao paulo.

brazil continues to be great with the same scene and excellent selection. the only exception is copacabana.

unfortunately brazil has become more expensive. not a big problem if you skip the expensive termas etc.

several major police raids occurred this morning in copacabana related to "**** sex"/"sexual abuse of minors" and the balcony prostitution / drug trade. was reported in o globo and other journals. police forcibly entered several residences and seized "evidence" that ranged apparently from actual films of **** girls to simply legal products associated with sex (e. g, condoms, panties). apparently all part of a targeted effort to shut down balcony, as well as complaints from a mother of the alleged **** victim.

apparently a tv station did an expose recently about the **** sex trade in rocina, which prompted the police into more drastic action.
