Thanks for the insight and keeping me from running astray from Brasil. You make a good point, mongering in Rio is so easy. The guys over at Argentina Private put up a lot of good information but, even with that, BsAs still seems like a tougher place to navigate for pussy. In Rio, we have limitless options just a short bus or metro ride away. Disney for lechers, as you alluded.

I will be in Rio from December to March and I will organize some semi-private stag parties. I am always looking for appropriate locations which must be able to give room to at least 12 people and have some soft flooring (thick carpet, ...) of at least 3x3m. A really oversized bed would do as well and a gym with sports mats would also be o.k.

I have mongered all over Latin America and can vouch for the fact that there are many places where you can quality girls and excellent service for a fraction of what people seem to be paying in Rio: Costa Rica, Colombia, and, especially cheap, Ecuador, El Salvador, Uruguay, and Paraguay (absolutely the cheapest, but hard to get to). True, none of these places are as attractive as Rio and don't have the same amenities, but if you have already sampled what Rio has to offer and are just looking for pussy, I recommend trying these other venues. Even Buenos Aires, although not exactly cheap, might provide a balance between a cosmopolitan atmosphere and reasonable prices.

I had the same thought..and that next time I would go to Buenos Aires for something different and cheaper. I did some investigating of BA lodging and found it comparable to Copa Premier or Atlantico. I checked Argentina Private and found the prices at places like Madahos to be similiar to Centro casa pricing. Then TJ started posting and reminds me of the $1R/minuto girls at BA85 and similar. At this point I don't see how Buenos Aires has any advantage over Rio Centro.

That being said..I am still considering spending only a couple days in Rio next time and diverting to elsewhere in Brasil, like Maceio, if that might be cheaper. I remember that one of the guys here on the Rio thread recently had a good time in Maceio on a small amount of money.

The real catch is that I get 95% good service in Rio and Sao Paulo, with CIM and anal when I don't even ask for it. It's hard to try something new where the service may not be so good. If I got to Macieo or Porto Alegre or one of the spanish-speaking countries and found that the service was all CBJ like most of the places in Japan, I would literally have a break down due to knowing what I missed in Rio or SP simply to save a few bucks.

ok BA85 (around R30 max / US$17 / UK£10), is cheap and not really luxurious (and 15 or 20R is common as well). But I've had awesome overnighters for R100-R120 this year. There's plenty of style in BsAs, but I'd welcome a simple guide to getting my rocks off in a friendly smiling manner for around US$10, or a memorable all-night-and-again-in-the-morning shag-of-one's-life for under US$70 there. I can't see it, but I'm open to learning and landing there briefly in a few weeks or so. (Yeah, I know RTFF for BsAs but it's harder work than even this one, and my bottom line is it hasn't changed that much since I was there last time - at least in terms of pussy-to-the-£.)

Uruguay is a tolerable place for encounters, but hardly anything earth moving. And Maceio and Porto Allegre are hardly on the map. Like Montevideo, you search the classifieds and find something-for-the-weekend. But they are not exactly the Disneyland of pussyplay are they?

I think it's pretty hard to sample all of what Rio has to offer, even in a lifetime. Whereas I'd visit Paraguay in the hope I didn't get into any major trouble inbetween some cheap chuwawa. You have to go looking for it in practically all these places. Im Rio, you only have to look to make the game more fun. You could literally be the biggest, fattest, loudmouthed, overweight, unwashed, pox-ridden slob and do nothing except waddle down to the beach and some fannies would still line up to service you.

Yes, 3rd pic from left is Paloma on the 4th floor bar. The blonde girl is Patricia on the 1st floor bar. All BA85. But as I'm sure you know, there's very little that's certain, even from day to day. I usually try to give it a couple of sweeps. The good ones might be working or not on at the time and day I happen to be there. So much luck involved. I've rarely been lucky on the 1st floor, but scored on the 4th quite a few times. Then it's salgados and Casarao or somewhere.

Since BA85 is the topic, here's some pics that illustrate the abyss of difference between the 2nd floor and the other floors.

The 'lens flare' effect on the second floor photos (the 2 on the left) is added affectionately to protect her identity, but the photos were taken in almost complete darkness (light bulbs being frequently outside the budget apparently). The flash of the camera illuminates the graffitied, makeshift walls.

Compare that to the properly lit, nice panelled cubicles of the 1st and 4th floors. They are not 4x4 standards or anything - the sessions are less than a tenth of the price of that establishment - but there is world of difference between them and those of the 2nd floor.

Asked why she chose to work on the 2nd the well-discussed 'R' told me that it was a quick turnover. She made more money. Who wants to hang about in such a cubicle??

There is rarely a difference in price between the floors. Maybe 5R at the most. Or you maybe get quoted different minimum session times (anything from 10mins up, with the fee adjusted proportionately).

TJ, your response to Smooth Slim is quite understandable, especially as you have been the butt of his attacks. But you know the old saying, 'don't feed the trolls . . .'

Slim - on a personal note, I don't require proof or even graphic accounts. But since you are someone who has (in your words), 'been to Rio about 20 times since 2002,' a report of some kind would be quite nice don't you think?

It can all seem a bit blasé if you have read all the reports and feel there is not much new to add when you visit somewhere yet again. I personally don't need to have graphic accounts of people's action, though many forum members do enjoy this, and it gives flavour.

Can I suggest you put in at least one report. The things I like to know are where, when, how much you paid, the services offered, and whether you felt it was good value for money. Maybe throw in some small recognisable details about the location that have not been mentioned before - this, for me, not only adds some colour, but for others as well it shows you were actually there, which is a reasonable enough thing to want. Describing, for instance, the less-than-obvious shower facilities is both more helpful and more convincing than saying you happened to see a celebrity in Help, or that you saw people of a certain description in BA.

The purpose of the forum after all, is to help one another. Chat is nice. But it is sometimes a good idea to ask before posting, 'How will this post I'm making help other mongers?' I'm not being antagonistic. And writing is not everyone's forté, much less writing technicolor descriptions in porn style. But a small contribution of some kind, as opposed to a comment, would be reasonable wouldn't you say?

1. It is too much of a coincidence that a guy who flamed me a few months ago is in the same casa, same floor, at the same time as the one he flamed. Plus, it was fairly early!
2. Your reply was way too general and only restated what I said. If you had only added some information it might have been believable!
3. When I said BA85 was gringoized I was joking. It is still unusual to see gringo mongers there let alone be in there with a flamer like you on the same floor early in the morning! I think you took the bait and believed BA85 was like Meia Pataca and that you could just claim to have been there! NOT!

2. I did not list a time, so I am unsure how you know when I was there.
3. I came in the next day and actually saw another group of big dudes, so it is not uncommon for them to go to BA 85; there is no law against it. Thus, I am again unsure that you were there when I was there.
4. I heard one of the guys make a comment to the effect that he had been there previously.
5. I heard every word they said over the loud music, thus they were speaking loud.

The first thing he did was plop down on the couch/bench. They did not go up any further than floor 1 and it was obvious that he was very out of breath.

Plus, the girls were all laughing and nervously trying to get out of the sight of all three of them. These were REALLY big dudes!

I bet the guys left ba 85 for a more expensive enviroment, such as 4x4.

I, too, wondered how he got up the stairs but given the big commotion they made upon entering I will bet they stopped traffic for awhile.
