I'm not going to pretend to know you, but from reading your comments on different boards, I think I can presume to know at least a couple of things about you.

1. You speak languages.

2. You travel a lot.

Now presume that you only have a week or two to enjoy your destination, maybe once or twice a year. Imagine further that you aren't fluent in Spanish or Portuguese. Would that affect your MO?

Dating might not be a hard work, but it takes time. And it's hard to win a woman's heart via Google Translate, LOL.

I have not always spoken different languages and I have not always traveled a lot. But I have always been interested in normal women and have never thought to enter a serious relationship with a hooker. As a matter of fact, my motivation for learning different languages was so that I could talk to women. I do have a degree in French and Education so that has made things easier for me on the learning other languages front.

When I first started learning Portuguese me and a buddy were on the bus headed to Vila Mimosa. I started flirting with the lady that takes the money. Then a couple of years later a buddy showed me Latin Cupid. The women on there were so beautiful. I said if I could speak Spanish I would be hell. That did not stop me though. First time to Peru I stayed at a chick's house. She did not speak English and I did not speak Spanish. But I spoke Portuguese and we were able to maneuver that way.

First time to Colombia I went to see a lawyer that I met on the site. She took the bus 14 hours to Bogota to see me. I did not speak Spanish and she did not speak English. I had bought a little translator thing and a Spanish dictionary from Target. That turned out to be shit. When I got back I took the translator back and still have the small dictionary.

First time to Dominican Republic I did not speak any Spanish. I was with a wingman from Miami though. I remember walking down the street talking to some hookers and one asked when I arrived. She spoke English though and now she lives in the States but still single. The rest is history.

Despite what someone might assume about me, which I can completely understand, I'm in my early 40's I eat healthy and work out five days a week and in extremely good shape, I'm a salesman and I've slept with and dated a few of my coworkers and not uncommon for customers to ask me out or flirt. I've even dated a couple girls I've met at the gym so I'm actually very capable of interacting with other humans and dating attractive girls in my own country. I think part of the reason as I have a desire to live in a place like Mexico South America or Asiais it's Much cheaper to live and in the US everybody is so materialistic in other countries people are happy with a lot less. As far as her family I only talk to her mom a couple times over WhatsApp because they are not talking now. She has older brothers and a younger brother younger brother I've only talked to over WhatsApp and the older brothers I've met in person along with some of her cousins and her close friends and a couple of girls that she works with. Her family knows exactly what she does and under the circumstances of how we met. It's definitely a culture shot coming from a Western Country where most family members would disown them and really look down on me as a customer. Not once has she asked me for money and no I have not given any, except when we were together because she wasn't working and it's a lot less than she would get working. We're pretty nuts know the ins and outs of each others lives. This is not my first rodeo mongering have been other places in the world but it absolutely is possible for two human beings to have a paid for interaction and develop feelings. I'm not saying that the situation is pleasant or even healthy for that matter all the time, but I'm surprised people here are so cynical to think under these circumstances people cannot fall for each other even in a situation where it doesn't work out. I'm not making up stories and I'm not embellishing anything obviously because there's a lot of negative aspects of this but I just thought I would share my experience good and bad.

A girl once asked me to come up with her before going to the beach. Lo and behold, a mom was at home, and she was extremely friendly (and much younger than me, LOL). It would feel strange, but I'd had a similar experience in Thailand.

I will give her credit that she's never asked me for any money I did give her about $1500 for the two weeks I was there just so she didn't have to worry about paying her bills because she wasn't at the club three or four nights a week working.

You had already given her 8000 reais. How much money do you suppose she would have made in those 2 weeks? For some reason guys always overestimate what a hooker is making. They calculate it like there is constant guaranteed business, which it is not for most of them. It ebbs and flows.

The minimum wage in Brazil is $217 or 1212 reais per month and you gave her almost 7 times that. To put things in perspective the minimum wage in the USA is $1160 per month. If you just handed someone in the USA $8120 (7 times the monthly minimum wage) for missing work 2 weeks I doubt they would be asking you for any more money for a long while either.

Maybe you found a different kind of family I've never met among escorts. I did find great human beings in the 100+ women I've had paid sex with (being more than 60% Brazilian), and yes, I can call some of them as friends.

So many months ago I posted about meeting a girl that worked at one of the Termas and starting a relationship with her that was back in November. It sounds like you're planning your first visit, so let me address the sports question first.

Stay in Copacabana for your first few visits or until you get your bearings. And perhaps even after that too.

I stayed at Hilton Copa a few times and still like it even though it clearly shows its age. It's not near the beach, it's right across from the beach and all rooms have ocean views. A huge plus in my book.

It's also GF now. You must register your girl at the check-in, but I personally don't mind that at all.

Any which way you look at it, Hilton Copa is a no brainer if you're choosing between these two.
